What is the difference between our "Earth global planet Mandala" and the "Earth Bhu-Mandala"?
There are two Earth Mandalas.
1 - The "smaller" Earth Mandala we live on is a "round global sphere and just a planet among many planets".
2 - The "greater" Earth Mandala covers our entire individual Universe which is the entire 14 Planetary Systems that are in it making up this entire Universe which is 4 billion miles in diameter.
The "greater" Earth Mandala is NOT to be confused with the "small" Earth global sphere planet we live on.
Our Earth globe we live on is a "small round spherical planet" seen as a planet among many existing in one of the 14 Planetary System's called Bhuloka that make up our Universe called Bhu-Mandala.
Bhu-Mandala (the greater Earth Mandala) is the entire expanse of Planets within all the 14 different planetary systems in outerspace spreading to a diameter of 4 billion miles and having a circumference of 12 billion 340 million miles.
The small Earth Mandala we live on is a "round global sphere" and has a diameter of 7,918 miles and a circumference of 24,900 miles only.
The Bhu-Mandala planetary expanse of globes in outspace is way bigger than our small single earth globe where we live on.
Bhu-Mandala is almost 4 billion miles in diameter and 12,340 billion miles in Circumference so it is NOT our small earth planet we live.
Therefore where we live on our Earth globe
This Earth globe is NOT the "greater Earth Mandala" called Bhu-Mandala which includes the entire 14 Planetary Systems in this Universe.
Our individual Universe known as Bhu-Mandala is described as 4 billion miles in diameter in Srimad Bhagavatam.
This is also described as the size of this single material universe with its 14 planetary systems existing in the Lotus stem coming from Garbhodakashayi Vishnu's naval as painting shows.
Both Garbhodakashayi Vishnu and Lord Brahma and his creation of 14 worlds (14 Planetary Systems) are deep inside a surrounding enclosement called a Brahmanda.
Furthermore this single universe, known as Bhu-Mandala, is deep within the surrounding greater egg shaped outer shell (Brahmanda)
This outer Brahmanda is made up of 7 layers of material elements of earth, water, fire, air, sky ether etc.
Billions of these greater global universal egg shaped spherical balls, known as Brahmanda's (each having a secondary universe within them) are coming from the Bodily pores and breathing of Maha Vishnu as seen in painting of Maha Vishnu.

The Hubble telescope has estimated the size of this single material universe to be 93 billion light years in diameter. This massive size is NOT accepted by Srimad Bhagavatam's 5th Canto.
Compiled by Diraj puri dasa
The Hubble telescope has estimated the size of this single material universe we are in to be 93 billion light years in diameter.
This massive size is not accepted by Srimad Bhagavatam that claims our universe is a mere 4 billion miles in diameter.
Gauragopala dasa Acbsp has his explanation that claims our 4 billion mile diameter universe is like a "Hall of mirrors" where this material universe reflects on itself making it appear much, much bigger than what it is.
This idea also needs further research because modern science calculations of the observable universe is a massive 93 billion light years in diameter, an enormous size compared to just a mere 4 billion miles in diameter.
A 4 billion mile diameter material universe just does not seem right when the Hubble Telescope estimates its speculated size of 93 billion light years in diameter.
The Vedas on the other hand, explain there are billions of individual universes called Brahmandas and our smaller universe (Just a mere 4 billion miles in diameter), with its 14 Planetary Systems, is deep inside one of those Brahmandas.
Srimad Bhagavatam tells us that we cannot see other Brahmanda universes from deep inside our Brahmanda greater universe.
All that we see, all the planets and galaxies we see via the Hubble telescope, is all within our universe situated deep inside our Brahmanda.
Srimad Bhagavatam explains that everything we see is in this one universe and we cannot see other Brahmanda's outside our inner universe which is 4 billion miles in diameter.
And situated deep inside and surrounded by our Brahmanda universe that is a massive 44 quadrillion 444 trillion 444 billion miles in diameter!!
So sometimes it is explained there are 2 universes, the greater outer Brahmanda universe and the inner 4 billion mile diameter universe where Garbhodakashayi Vishnu, Lord Brahma and his 14 Planetary System creation is (ours is called Bhu-Mandala)
It is extremely hard to believe and accept our inner universe is just 4 billion miles in diameter when evidence is presented from the Hubble Telescope.
I personally believe this "understanding of size" described in Srimad Bhagavatam needs further reseach and investigation because it does NOT seem possible our entire observable universe is just 4 billion miles in diameter.
Although Gauragopala says it can be explained as an illusion called "The hall of mirrors" effect.
He was told by scientists at the Radio Telescope in Parks Australia -
"If you take that distant literally then may make everything else in Srimad Bhagavatam questionable, it seems the measurements of distances needs greater research".
These distances must be properly explained and not accepted literally by devotees until a proper understanding is reached.
The fact is Pluto just in our Solar System is 4.5 billion miles from earth!
So the 4 billion miles diameter Vedic universe explained in Srimad Bhagavatam needs deeper research because it seems that in no way is our observable universe just 4 billion miles in diameter.
The fact is, 4 billion miles diameter is a 5th the size of just our Solar System that is 24 billion miles in diameter.
According to modern science, the closest Solar System to ours is 4.5 light years away.
So deep research needs to be done here on how distances are properly measured in Vedas.
And yes I advise people NOT to follow without enquiries and asking questions about EVERYTHING in sastra (scriptures).
Question everything you hear from others so you are NOT cheated by different interpretations, read Prabhupada's Books carefully then no-one can mislead you.
For example Sadhaputa dasa PhD explained the comment in Canto 8 of Srimad Bhagavatam that the Moon is further away from earth than the Sun, in another way.
He explains that "above the Earth" the Sun the is away from earth than the moon.
But when modern distances are applied, the Moon far is closer to our earth being only 248,000 miles away from Earth.
Sadly many devotees believe in a "flat earth" that Prabhupada explains as a globe.
The proof that all distances are codes as Mayesa das believes makes sense
For example the Sun according to 5th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam is suppose to be 80,000 miles from Earth.
This figure must be a code because we know the Sun is 93 million miles from earth and not 80,000 miles away which is not right according to the Astronomy community.
Srila Prabhupada explain the following very nicely -
Srila Prabhupada - "The Lord is kavi; that is, He knows past, present and future and therefore knows everything.
He is the oldest personality because He is the origin of everything; everything is born out of Him. He is also the supreme controller of the universe, and He is the maintainer and instructor of humanity.
He is smaller than the smallest. The living entity is one ten-thousandth part of the tip of a hair, but the Lord is so inconceivably small that He enters into the heart of this particle.
Therefore He is called smaller than the smallest.
As the Supreme, He can enter into the atom and into the heart of the smallest and control him as the Supersoul. Although so small, He is still all-pervading and is maintaining everything.
By Him all these planetary systems are sustained. We often wonder how these big planets are floating in the air. It is stated here that the Supreme Lord, by His inconceivable energy, is sustaining all these big planets and systems of galaxies.
The word acintya ("inconceivable") is very significant in this connection. God's energy is beyond our conception, beyond our thinking jurisdiction, and is therefore called inconceivable (acintya).
Who can argue this point?
He pervades this material world and yet is beyond it. We cannot comprehend even this material world, which is insignificant compared to the spiritual world—so how can we comprehend what is beyond?
Acintya means that which is beyond this material world, that which our argument, logic and philosophical speculation cannot touch, that which is inconceivable.
Therefore intelligent persons, avoiding useless argument and speculation, should accept what is stated in scriptures like the Vedas, Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and follow the principles they set down. This will lead one to understanding". (Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 8 Text 9, Purport)

Our only mission is it preaching the MERCY of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's grest Sankirtan Movement
Our ONLY mission is preaching the MERCY of Lord Caitanya's Patita pavana philosophy, to deliver the most fallen.
If Manu Samhita was so important Prabhupada would of translated it but he knew most of it is NOT applicable to this age we are in.
And yes, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's teachings are "totally separate" from the hash rules and regulations of the Manu Samhita.
If ISKCON ever tried to fully introduce the Manu Samhita in a package with Varnashrama in this day and age, with its rules of corporal punishment (hands cut off for stealing) and women not allowed higher education, will destroy the simplicity of what the SANKIRTAN movement stands for, the congregational street chanting of Hare Krishna by all
People do not like to see any form of discrimination today.
Therefore even women should be encouraged to reach their full potential as a Vaishnava doctor, teacher even an architect if they choose to learn these trades to serve Krishna.
Prabhupada told Yamuna dasi you are not a women you are a Vaishnava
One 19 year old Gurukuli is now studying at University and preaches their to other students.
Many of our women are highly intelligent, why suppress that just because the soul is in a woman's body?
Also Manu Samhita encourages all girls should be married by 11 or 12 years old.
And also allows polygamy.
Both are banned today not only by the present day Indian Government but by Governments around world.
And marrying a man at 22 years old marrying an 11 year old girl was acceptable well into the 20th Century in India, in fact this is the age Prabhupada was married.
However, in India today child marriages have become corrupted with exploitation, greed and the exchange of money bribes and wealth.
Therefore to stop all that, the legal age for marriage is 16, not earlier.
Infact marriages under 16 is a criminal offense and considered child sexual abuse by Governments around the world today.
And Polygamy here in my Country is an offense that carries and 8 year jail sentence.
Now all the above goes against the teachings in the Manu Samhita.
And the punishment for killing cows in that Book will never be introduced anytime soon.
We are at the beginning of a Golden Age of spiritual revolution, how future Vaishnava leaders in one thousand years from now will govern society WILL be based of SANKIRTAN and the merciful teachings of Lord Chaitanya and NOT rules and regulations in the law Book of Manu.
The entire caste system was rejected by Lord Chaitanya in His time.
Yet Prabhupada said eventually a time will come when ISKCON's maturity is strong enough to again present the Varnashrama system in this Kali-yuga.
Varnashrama must be again eventually introduced free of fanaticism, corruption and class distinction.
Instead this version of Varnashrama will be based on the "ocean of mercy of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu great Sankirtan Movement
Thus making Varnashrama in this Golden Age within Kali-yuga unique and different from previous ages.
One cannot force the teachings of Manu Samhita on Society in this age.
In 1974 fundamentalist devotees after reading a copy of the Manu Samhita tried to blow up the Slaughter house in New Zealand and instead blew themselves up killing 3 devotees, the bomb went off on the way to the Slaughter house.
This terrorists event greatly affect ISKCON in New Zealand and Australia for many years after.
Prabhupada was furious at this and said our only weapons are Books and Sankirtan NOT the teachings in Manu samhita.
By all means basic truths from the manu samhita can be introduced
Therefore if ISKCON does not want to be seen like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Brunei etc who implement Sharia law, then just stick to Lord Chaitanya's teachings of Sankirtan side by side with Prabhupada's instructions of mass book distribution.

Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling then there is love, not by force. Krishna does not want a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!
Srila Prabhupada - "Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force. Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!" July 8, 1976.
Srila Prabhupada - ” So, even in the Vaikuntha, if I desire that ‘Why shall I serve Krishna? Why not become Krishna?’ I immediately fall down. That is natural. A servant is serving the master, but sometimes he may think that, “If I could become the master.” They are thinking like that; they are trying to become God. That is delusion. You cannot become God. That is not possible. But he’s wrongly thinking”.
Vipina Purandara - “Why doesn’t Krishna protect us from that desire?
Srila Prabhupada - “He’s protecting. He says, “You rascal, don’t desire. Surrender unto Me.” But you are rascal; you do not do this”.
Vipina Purandara - “Why doesn’t He save me from thinking like that? ”
Srila Prabhupada - “That means you lose your independence. That is force, in Bengali it is said, ‘If you catch one girl or boy, ‘You love me, you love me, you love me.’ ” Is it love? “You love me, otherwise I will kill you!’ Is that love? So Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, on the point of revolver. ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!’ That is not love; that is threatening. Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force; that is rape. Why one is called lover, another is called rape?” July 8, 1976 in Washington, D.C.

Manu samhita (law book of Hindus) and Sharia law (Islam's law book) are both NOT meant for this age of Kali-yuga to bring about a Spiritual consciousness
Sharia law (Islam's law book) and the Manu samhita (law book of Hindus) are both NOT meant for this age of Kali-yuga to bring about a Spiritual consciousness and revolution in all society.
In this age of Kali-yuga Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave us the easiest method for self realization of Sankirtan which is the chanting of Hare Krishna.
He rejected the caste system and the violent corporal punishment for sins in previous ages in most case.
Lord Caitanya advised us all to chant Hare Krishna.
He also personally preached to many Muslims who joined his merciful Sankirtan Movement.
Lord Caitanya emphazised to "hate the sin and NOT the sinner".
In a morning walk in Vrindavana Prabhupada tells a devotee that Manu Smrti (Samhita) rules and regulations are not meant to be implemented in Kali-yuga -
"Do not mention Manu Samhita, it is a code of behaviour not a religion for Vaishnavas".
Devotees of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu are way more merciful than devotees in previous ages who simply practised rules and regulations.
Although Prabhupada does mention Manu Samhita often in his purports and even call for it to be followed in many purports, he also keeps reminding us that Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu is a very rare merciful expansion of Lord Krishna come to deliver the MOST fallen.
Hate the sin save the sinner with the chanting of Hare Krishna.
Keep in mind punishment for stealing in the Manu smrti is having one's hand cut off. Do you really want to intoduce such harsh punishments in the Golden Age of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's great Sankirtan Movement of mercy?
No, to a devotee we hate the sin, NOT the sinner and KILL that demonic desire with mass Sankirtan chanting Hare Krishna and not the person.
We must take up the mood of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in this rare Kali-yuga He has kindly appeared beyond following all previous vedic rules and regulations.
"Patita Pavana" means Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the deliverer of the MOST fallen living entities trapped in decaying material bodily vessels.
We are all trapped in a material bodily container and foolishly think "We are these gross material bodily container".
Our ONLY mission in this Kali-yuga is preaching the UNLIMITED MERCY OF FORGIVENESS found in Lord Chaitanya's Patita pavana philosophy meant to deliver the most fallen souls in Kali-yuga.
If the Manu Samhita was so important in this age f Kali-yuga, Srila Prabhupada would of translated it.
However, he knew most of it is NOT applicable to this age we are in.
