The story of the boy who had a million mothers and fathers because of the cycle of birth and death.

Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 6 Chapter 14

"King Citraketu’s Lamentation"

By His Divine Grace A.C.
Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

The jiva-soul within the gross and subtle material bodily vessels has had millions of material bodies, this means they have had millions of mothers and fathers too while in this temporary material creation.

The boy who had a million mothers due to being born again and again in the temporary material creation.

Bhagavad-gita - "Some look on the soul as amazing, some describe him as amazing, and some hear of him as amazing, while others, even after hearing about him, cannot understand him at all." (Bhagavad-gita 2.29)

In the following historical narration from Srimad-Bhagavatam, King Citraketu's son reveals his previous births and instructs the King and Queen about the imperishable nature of the soul and the science of reincarnation.

King Citraketu had many wives, and although he was capable of producing children, he did not receive a child from any of them, for his beautiful wives were all barren.

One day the mystic sage Angira came to Citraketu's palace. The King immediately stood up from his throne and, as was the Vedic custom, paid his respects.

"O King Citraketu, I can observe that your mind is disturbed. Your pale face reflects your deep anxiety. Have you not achieved your desired goals?" the sage inquired.

Because he was a great mystic, Angira knew the cause of the King's distress, but for his own reasons he questioned Citraketu, as if in need of knowledge.

King Citraketu replied, "O Angira, because of your great penances and austerities, you have acquired complete knowledge. You can understand everything, both external and internal, about embodied souls like myself.

O great soul, you are aware of everything, yet you ask why I am in such anxiety. Therefore, in response to your order, let me disclose the cause of my suffering. A starving man cannot be satisfied with a garland of flowers. In the same way, my vast empire and immeasurable wealth mean nothing, for I am bereft of a man's true wealth. I do not have a son. Can you not help me to become truly happy and arrange for me to have a son?"

Angira, who was very merciful, agreed to help the King. He performed a special sacrifice to the demigods and then offered the remnants of the sacrificial food to the most perfect of Citraketu's queens, Krtadyuti.

"O great King, you will now have a son who will be the cause of both jubilation and lamentation,"

Angira said. The sage then vanished, without waiting for the King's response.

Citraketu was overjoyed to learn that he would finally get a son, but he wondered about the sage's last words.

"Angira must have meant that I will be greatly happy when my son is born. That is certainly true. But what did he mean by the child being the cause of lamentation? Of course, being my only son, he will automatically become the heir to my throne and kingdom.

Therefore, he might become proud and disobedient. That might be a cause for lamentation. But a disobedient son is better than no son at all."

In due course of time, Krtadyuti became pregnant, and a son was born. Hearing this news, all the inhabitants of the kingdom rejoiced. King Citraketu could not contain his joy.

As the King carefully raised his infant son, his affection for Queen Krtadyuti increased daily, and he gradually lost affection for his barren wives.

The other queens continuously lamented their fate, for a wife who has no sons is neglected at home by her husband, and her co-wives treat her exactly like a maidservant.

The barren queens burned with anger and envy. As their envy increased, they lost their intelligence, and their hearts became hard like stone.

They met secretly and decided that there was only one solution to their dilemma, one way to regain the love of their husband: poison the child.

One afternoon, as Queen Krtadyuti walked in the courtyard of the palace, she thought of her son sleeping peacefully in his room.

Because she loved the child dearly and could hardly bear to be without him for a moment, she ordered the nurse to awaken him from his nap and bring the boy to the garden.

But when the maidservant approached the child, she saw that his eyes were turned upward, and there were no signs of life. Horrified, she held a swab of cotton beneath the boy's nostrils, but the cotton did not move.

Seeing this, she cried out, "Now I am doomed!" and fell to the ground. In great agitation, she struck her breast with both hands and wept loudly.

Some time passed, and the anxious Queen approached the child's bedroom. Hearing the nurse's wailing, she entered the room and saw that her son had passed from this world.

In great lamentation, her hair and dress in disarray, the Queen fell to the ground unconscious.

When the King heard of his son's sudden death, he became nearly blind with grief. His lamentation grew like a conflagration, and as he ran to see the dead child, he repeatedly stumbled and fell.

Surrounded by his ministers and court officers, the King entered the boy's room and collapsed at the child's feet, his hair and dress scattered in all directions.

When he regained consciousness, he was breathing heavily, his eyes were filled with tears, and he was unable to speak.

When the Queen saw her husband merged in great lamentation and again viewed the dead child, she began to curse the Supreme Lord.

This increased the pain in the hearts of all the residents of the palace.

The Queen's flower garlands slipped from her body, and her smooth jet-black hair became tangled. Falling tears smeared the cosmetics beneath her eyes.

"O Providence! During the lifetime of the father, you have caused the death of his son. You are certainly the enemy of the living beings and are not at all merciful."

Turning to her beloved child, she said, "My dear son, I am helpless and aggrieved.

You should not give up my company. How can you leave me? Just look at your lamenting father! You have slept for a long time. Now please get up. Your playmates are calling you to play. You must be very hungry, so please get up immediately and take your lunch.

My dear son, I am most unfortunate, for I can no longer see your sweet smiling. You have closed your eyes forever. You have been taken from this planet to another place, from which you will not return. My dear son, unable to hear your pleasing voice, I can no longer maintain my life."

The King began crying loudly with an open mouth As the mother and father lamented, all their followers joined them, bemoaning the untimely death of the child. Because of the sudden accident, all the citizens of the kingdom were nearly unconscious with grief.

When the great sage Angira understood that the King was almost dead in an ocean of sorrow, he went there with his friend, Saint Narada.

The two sages found the King, overwhelmed by lamentation, lying like a dead body beside the corpse. Angira addressed him sharply,

"Wake up from the darkness of ignorance! O King, what relationship does this dead body have with you, and what relationship do you have with him? You may say that you are now related as father and son, but do you think that this relationship existed before his birth? Does it truly exist now? Will it continue now that he is dead?

O King, as small particles of sand sometimes come together and are sometimes separated due to the force of the ocean's waves, living entities who have accepted material bodies sometimes come together and are sometimes separated by the force of time."

Angira wanted the King to understand that all bodily relationships are temporary.

"My dear King," the sage continued, "when I first came to your palace, I could have given you the greatest gift -- transcendental knowledge -- but when I saw that your mind was absorbed in material things, I gave you only a son, who caused you jubilation and lamentation.

Now you are experiencing the misery of a person who has sons and daughters. These visible objects like wife, children, and property are nothing more than dreams.

Therefore, O King Citraketu, try to understand who you really are.

Consider where you have come from, where you are going after giving up this body, and why you are under the control of material lamentation."

Then Narada Muni did something very wonderful. By his mystic power, he brought the soul of the King's dead child into the vision of everyone.

Immediately the room became effulgent with a blinding brightness, and the dead child began to move.

Narada said, "O living entity, all good fortune unto you. Just see your father and mother. All your friends and relatives are overwhelmed with grief because of your death. Because you died untimely, the balance of your life still remains.

Therefore, you may reenter your body and enjoy the remainder of the years allotted to you in this body with your friends and relatives, and later you may accept the royal throne and all the opulences given by your father."

By Narada's mystic power, the living entity reentered the dead body. The child who had been dead sat up and began to speak, not with the intelligence of a young boy, but with the full knowledge of a liberated soul.

"According to the results of my material activities, I, the living being, transmigrate from one body to another, sometimes going to the species of the demigods, sometimes to the species of lower animals, sometimes incarnating among the vegetables, and appearing sometimes in the human species.

In which birth were these two people my father and mother? No one is actually my father and mother. I have had millions of so-called parents. How can I accept these two people as my father and mother?"

The Vedas teach that the eternal living being enters a body made of material elements. Here we find that such a living being entered a body produced by King Citraketu and his wife.

Actually, however, he was not their son.

The living entity is the eternal son of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but because he wants to enjoy this material world, God gives him a chance to enter various bodies.

Yet the pure living being has no true relationship with the material body he gets from his father and mother. Therefore, the soul who had taken the body of Citraketu's son flatly denied that the King and Queen were his parents.

The soul continued, "In this material world, which is like a swiftly flowing river, all people become friends, relatives, and enemies in due course of time.

They also act neutrally and in many other relationships. But despite these various transactions, no one is permanently related."

Citraketu was lamenting for his son, who was now dead, but he could have considered the situation otherwise.

"This living entity," he could have thought, "was my enemy in my last life, and now, having appeared as my son, he is prematurely leaving just to give me pain and agony."

Why should the King not consider his dead son his former enemy and instead of lamenting be jubilant because of an enemy's death?

The living being in the body of Citraketu's child said, "Just as gold and other commodities are continually transferred from one place to another through buying and selling, so the living entity, as a result of his karma, wanders throughout the universe, being injected into various bodies in different species of life through the semen of one father after another."

As explained in Bhagavad-gita, it is not by any father or mother that the living entity is given birth. The living entity's true identity is completely separate from the so-called father and mother.

By the laws of nature, the soul is forced to enter the semen of a father and be injected into the womb of a mother. He cannot directly control the kind of father he will get; this is automatically determined by his activities in previous lives.

The laws of karma force him to go to different fathers and mothers, just like a commodity that is bought and sold.

The living entity sometimes takes shelter of an animal father and mother and sometimes a human father and mother. Sometimes he accepts a father and mother among the birds, and sometimes he accepts a demigod father and mother in the heavenly planets.

As the soul transmigrates through different bodies, everyone, in every form of life -- be it human, animal, tree, or demigod -- gets a father and mother. This is not very difficult.

The real difficulty is to obtain a spiritual father -- a bona fide spiritual master. Therefore, the duty of a human being is to search out such a spiritual master, for under his guidance one can become free from the cycle of reincarnation and return to his original home in the spiritual world.

"The living being is eternal," the pure soul continued, "and has no relation with so-called fathers and mothers. He falsely accepts himself as their son and acts affectionately.

After he dies, however, the relationship is finished. Under these circumstances, one should not be falsely involved with jubilation and lamentation.

The living entity is eternal and imperishable, he has no beginning and no end, nor does he take birth or die.

The living being is equal in quality to the Supreme Lord. Both are spiritual personalities. But because the living entity is so small, he is prone to be illusioned by the material energy, and thus he creates bodies for himself according to his different desires and activities."

The Vedas tell us that the soul is responsible for his lives in the material world, where he is trapped in the cycle of reincarnation, material body after material body.

If he likes, he can remain suffering in the prison house of material existence, or he can return to his original home in the spiritual world.

Although God arranges through the material energy to give the living beings the bodies they desire, the Lord's true desire is that the conditioned souls get off the punishing merry-go-round of material life and return home, back to Godhead.

Suddenly the boy became silent, as the pure soul left the body of the child, and the body fell lifeless to the floor. Citraketu and the other relatives were astonished. They cut the shackles of their affection and gave up their lamentation.

Then they performed the funeral ceremony, cremating the body. Queen Krtadyuti's co-wives, who had poisoned the child, were very much ashamed.

While lamenting, they remembered the instructions of Angira and gave up their ambition to bear children.

Following the directions of the brahmana priests, they went to the bank of the sacred river Yamuna, where they bathed and prayed daily, atoning for their sinful activities.

Because King Citraketu and his queen had become fully cognizant of spiritual knowledge, including the science of reincarnation, they easily gave up the affection that leads to pain, fear, grief, and illusion.

Although this attachment for the material body is very difficult to overcome, because they severed it with the sword of transcendental knowledge, they were able to give it up very easily.

"As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, similarly, the soul accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones". (Bhagavad-gita 2.22)

Krishna saves us the none material eternal jiva soul, and not nessessary the material body we are in.

Such a material body is always in a progressive state of decline, decay anyway.

Prayer is meant to save the soul NOT the material body we are in, be it old or even a children's material body.

Every material body deteriorates and decomposes ending in its death in this temporary material creation.

The jiva-soul is eternal, not the gross and subtle material bodily vessels it is in that is always in a state of constant maintenance and decay.

Sunday, April 26, 2020

It's now time to get out of this material world and go back home back to Godhead. Everything material NEVER lasts in this temporary frustrating material universe of impermanence, constant maintenance, decay and ultimately the death of the material bodily vessel.

Time to get out of this material world!!

Everything material NEVER lasts in this temporary universe of impermanence, decay and death.

All material things, like one's home and body they are in, eventually fades away over the movement of time.

This is because all material things, like our bodily vessels, are always in a constant state of decay, decline, breakdown leading to eventual death.

Sadly, foolish people see this going on all around them, but still make plans as if they are going to live forever.

So wake up and learn who you really are within the material body!

The fact is, this material world is always in a state of disrepair, decomposition and decay, it is NOT our real "eternal" home!

We shouldn't even be here!!

It was a mistake we chose long, long, long ago to came here in the first place, choosing to leave Gods eternal Kingdom of Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan!!

We can NEVER find permanent satisfaction and happiness in this alien decaying environment called the mundane material universes.

Only a fool will try to find comfort in these temporary material bodily vessels that will eventually grow diseased and old and end up being food for earth worms and maggots.

Therefore, the goal of this rare human life is to GET OUT OF THIS MUNDANE MATERIAL WORLD, and not try and make ourselves comfortable here!

That is not possible in this temporary decomposing material world where everything is in a constant state of decay.

Our only desire should be to go back home, back to Godhead, back to serving Lord Narayana in Vaikuntha or Lord Krishna in Goloka Vrindavana.

We should NOT waste our time desiring to go to other higher material heavenly planets in this universe either, or attempt to take birth in a pious wealthy aristocrat family on this Earth planet, none of that lasts either.

We should be learning, from a very young age, we are the individual anti-material jiva soul (life force or jiva-tattva) within these material bodily containers, and all material endevours for happiness will NOT solve the problems of birth, disease, old age and death.

The purpose of this very rare human form of life is to get out of this material world and NOT try and build the kingdom of God without God.

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''. (From the "Happening Record Album" New York City December 1966)...

One crazy famous cook would fanatically say in the early days if you were sick and needed hospital treatment "You're in Maya prabhooo, snap out of it! Surrender prabhooo and just chant Hare Krishna, NOTHING else can help you 'prabhuooo!' "

Sadly in the very early pioneering immature days of ISKCON, many of the young devotees of the time believed the only cure for sickness was chanting Hare Krishna, and have faith ONLY in Krishna.

They foolishly claimed everything outside the Temple was Maya and run by demon karmis including Hospitals LOL.

If you were sick, these foolish young fanatical devotees, like one cook I remember, would say "You're in Maya prabhooo, snap out of it! You're in Maya! Just chant Hare Krishna!! Nothing else can help you!"

Nearly all of Prabhupada's disciples were in their early 20s back then, that is why Prabhupada called them boy's and girls.

Sadly, this is what many devotees then would childishly said -

"No dirty stinkin rotten karmi meat eating demon Doctor will ever help a devotee!!"

Other devotees would foolishly say "it's your karma prabhooo, stop complaining, you are meant to suffer".

Just another cold stupid comment to make us believe we are meant to suffer and cannot do anything about it, when we can by simply choosing to see a doctor for help. And yes, that's karma too!

When Prabhupada cut his finger in February 1973, he never relied on just chanting Hare Krishna, he told us to bring him a doctor who gave him penicillin that healed his finger.

God helps those who help themselves.

In 1975 a devotee was very sick and wanted to see a doctor and get medicial help, and the above comment is what this nonsense arrogent Temple Present said.

Sadly there are a few nonsense devotee today who foolishly have the same crazy attitude about life saving vaccines.

The Panca Tattva and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and the Panca-Tattva.

"Panca" is a Sanskrit word that means "five"

And tattva means "truth" or "reality".

In the Gaudiya Vaishnava Krishna Bhakti tradition, Panca tattva refers specifically to the Five aspects of God (Krishna) the Absolute Truth.

In Gaudiya Vaishnavism these five features of Krishna the Supreme Personality of Godhead of Godhead and cause of all causes, appeared on Earth as five individual personalities in the late 15th century (for example, Lord Chaitanya's appearance date was February 18, 1486) -

1 - Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,
2 - Nityananda,
3 - Advaita Acharya,
4 - Gadadhara Pandita,
5 - Srivasa Thakura.

They famously spread the Hare Krishna mantra, and the practice of devotion (bhakti) to Krishna throughout India in the 16th Century (Early 1500s).

1 - Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is Krishna Himself, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes (Svayam Bhagavan), and Srimati Radharani, both combined together as one (Lord Caitanya) allowing them to experience each other's pure selfless love for each other.

2 - Nityananda is Krishna's first personal expansion with the combined power of Balarama.

3 - Advaita Acharya is the combined power of Lord Vishnu & Lord Shiva (Harihara).

4 - Gadadhara is the combined power of Krishna's internal energy.

5 - Srivasa is Krishna's pure devotee and symbolizes devotion and the only jiva-tattva (78% of Krishna's qualities) in the 5.

The other 4 are different aspects of Vishnu-tattva, however one, Advaita Acharya, is a combination of Vishnu (93% of Krishna's qualities) and Shiva (84% of Krishna's qualities).

"I bow down to Lord Krishna, who appears as a supreme devotee (Lord Chaitanya), as His personal expansion (Sri Nityananda), His acharya Sri Advaita), His devotee (Sri Srivasa), and His energy (Sri Gadadhara), and who is the source of strength for the devotees." (Chaitanya Charitamrita Adi 1.147.6)

Within the Gaudiya tradition a mantra formed from the names of the five members of the Pancha Tattva is often spoken or sung as a means of devotional worship or meditation (japa).

Often this mantra is sung or chanted prior to the Hare Krishna maha mantra.

It is the most merciful mantra available in this age of Kali-yuga.

śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda,śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda.

In Kali-yuga that lasts for 432,000 years, there will be a short 10,000 year Golden age brought in and inspired by the teachings of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

The fact is Krishna does NOT interfere with the jiva-soul's free will. This is important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique characteristics that are part of THEIR own individual marginal make up as the person they are for all eternity.

The fact is God is more inclined to help those who FIRST do everything they can to help themselves.

Only then will Krishna help you when He sees you trying your very best to do everything you can, to help yourself to remember Krishna.

Of course this reciprocal relationship of very personal loving emotions and exchanges is just that - very personal and different for all jiva souls based on THEIR relationship with Krishna ONLY them and Krishna know.

Therefore we have no insights to judge others relationship with Krishna, what is right for one soul with Krishna, maybe wrong for another.

The fact is Krishna does NOT interfere with the jiva-soul's free will.

This is important to understand.

This is because each jiva-soul has their own independent individual personality and sense of self that is part of their marginal make up for all eternity.

This allows the jiva-souls, in their full potential as a Spiritual personality, to make "their own choices" of how to help themselves always remember, serve and please Krishna in cooperation and recieprocation with Krishna.

In this way in the Spiritual World, each jiva-soul ALWAYS makes their own personal offerings to Krishna in THEIR way to please Krishna, often different from all other jiva-souls if they choose to do so in Goloka Vrindavana or to Narayana in the Vaikuntha Planets.

The jiva-souls are not programmed drones who have no sense of personal giving.

Otherwise if Krishna does everything for you, how can there be genuine love?

Real love is reciprocal, it is NEVER a one way street where surrender to Krishna takes away one's sense of self and individuality.

The "highest independence" is "choosing" to be fully dependent on Krishna with your own unique personality with personal offerings.

Free will is NEVER surrendered to Krishna, only enhanced in an ever expanding mood of recieprocation, cooperstion and loving exchanges.

The freedom to EVEN stay in Vaikuntha MUST be the jivas choice also in reciprocation with Krishna because without free will there can be no real love.

Srila Prabhupada has said not even Krishna can force you to love Him, LOVE or service is based on free will and then reciprocation.

Srila Prabhupada told his disciples, if you love me then naturally I will love you.

The fact is Krishna does NOT interfere with the jiva-soul's free will. As said, this is very important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique characteristics that is part of THEIR own marginal make up as a person for all eternity.

There are important letters written by Prabhupada he instructed be presented and distributed as a Book.

We must understand, there is no difference between Prabhupada's lectures, all his Books and letters.

Letters in most cases although there are some letters that are very personal and meant to be just between Prabhupada and his aspiring disciple.

However, there are many other letters by Prabhupada he instructed to be distributed to the devotees and all Temples.

For example the letter, now a book called "Crow-And-Tal-Fruit Logic, the origin of the jiva" sent to Madhudvisa Swami and the Australian devotees in 1972.

As well as the room discussion with John Lennon and Yoko Ono that is now a book.

In fact, many lectures, morning walks and Room conversation's have been made into books.

There is absolutely "no material cause for one's fall down from Vaikuntha" because Maya, or the material energy, does NOT exist in Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana.

One important point about one Maharaj's talks in the Gaudiya Math on the jiva's origin, is he never mentions that our fall down from Vaikuntha is simply caused by "free will" and NOT Maya (Maya is the material energy that does NOT exist in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana).

It seems this Maharaj does not understand that "Free will" and the "ability to choose" is NEVER lost by the jiva-tattva in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana.

This is because the marginal living entity or jiva-soul, is an individual independent thinking living person with their own unique identity, personality, character and sense of self.

The fact is, these qualities are part and parcel of the jiva-tattva's eternal constitution, and make up as a marginal living entity that has 78% of Krishna qualities.

Such qualities of the individual jiva-tattva (jiva soul) is NEVER lost in Goloka or Vaikuntha under the heading of "surrender" either.

If it did, then that is impersonalism and makes us no better than dead stone Prabhupada explains.

There are other living entities in the Spiritual Planets also that are not jiva-tattva, they maybe Vishnu-tattva, Sakti-tattvs or Sakti-Vishnu-tattva.

The many Sakti-tattva and Vishnu-tattva's can also be known as Vishnu-Sakti-Tattvas.

They are direct expansions of Lord Krishna that are in a different category from the jiva-tattvas who have 78% of Krishna's qualities.

The Vishnu-Sakti-Tattvas have 93% of Krishna's qualities.

There are many associates of Krishna in this category of Vishnu-Sakti-Tattva playing different roles in both Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan and in Krishna's pastimes in the Material Universes also.

Technically they ARE Krishna experiencing Himself in different past times and roles.

Unlike the jiva-tattva who has their own sense of individuality, independence and unique personality (sense of independent self) who can even choose for themselves to serve or not serve Krishna if they want.

The jivatmas (78% of Krishna's qualities) are different, they have their own independent sense of self that includes "free will and the ability to choose", therefore the jivatmas CAN choose not to be with Krishna if they "choose" where as the Vishnu-sakti-tattvas cannot (because they are Krishna)

The only cause for one's fall down from Vaikuntha is "free will" and "the ability to choose" and nothing else. The fact is without that ability to "choose" then how can there be love?

One old Gaudiya Math Maharaj told one ISKCON devotee visiting him, that all the jiva-souls come from ''a clear sheet of consciousness' from the dormant (impersonal) brahmajyoti in 1978 saying -

''The jiva soul is an atom in that effulgence, and the brahmajyoti is a product of an infinite number of jiva atoms. Generally, souls emanate from the brahmajyoti which is living and growing. Within the brahmajyoti, their equilibrium is somehow disturbed and movement begins. From nondifferentiation, differentiation begins. From a plain sheet of uniform consciousness, individual conscious units grow''.

The devotee told this Maharaj that what he was saying was impersonal nonsense.

It is NOT the teachings of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON Society and walked out of his room -

Srila Prabhupada has explained – ''There is no “ NEW” soul. “New'’ and “old'’ are due to this material body, but the soul is never born and never dies, so if there is no birth how there can be new soul''. (Letter to Jagadisa 7/9/1970)

Srila Prabhupada – ''Regarding your several questions: Where are the spirit souls coming from? These spirit souls and all spirit souls are coming from Vaikuntha'' (Letter to Jagadisa 7/9/1970)

"For the soul there is neither birth or death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever existing, undying and primeval. He is NOT slain when the body is slain" (Bhagavad Gita As it Is Chapter 2 Text 20)

Srila Prabhupada - ''Existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness. Those who are in the brahman effulgence are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition. When fall takes place, it means falling down from the non-fallen condition. The non-fallen condition is Krsna consciousness''. (Letter to Revatinandana Los Angeles 13 June, 1970)

Letter to: Revatinandana — Los Angeles 13 June, 1970

Srila Prabhupada - 'The next question, about the living entities falling down in this material world are not from the impersonal brahman. Existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness.

Those who are in the brahman effulgence they are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition. When fall takes place, it means falling down from the non-fallen condition.

The non-fallen condition is Krsna consciousness. So long one can maintain pure Krsna consciousness he is not fallen down. As soon as he becomes out of Krsna consciousness immediately he is fallen down. It does not matter where a living entity stays.

In the material world also there are different stages of living conditions, and to remain in the brahman effulgence is also another phase of that fallen condition.

Just like in the Bhagavad-gita it is stated that conditioned souls by their pious activities are elevated to the higher planetary system, but as soon as the stock of pious activities is finished he again comes down on the earthly planet.

Similarly those who are elevated beyond the planetary system to the brahma effulgence, they are also prone to fall down as much as a living entity from the higher planetary system.

As such those who are thinking that they are liberated by being situated in brahman effulgence are described in the Srimad-Bhagavatam as impurely intelligent.

In other words, they are actually not liberated, and because they are not actually liberated they again come down to the material world as much as a living entity elevated to the higher planetary system comes down to this earthly planet.

So we do not accept anyone elevated to the brahman effulgence as actually liberated.” (Letter to Revatinandana Los Angeles 13 June, 1970)

Srila Prabhupada - "The jivas were previously active ''before'' entering "inactive" or "dormant" Brahman effulgence" (Letter to Revatinandana Los Angeles 13 June, 1970)

Here Prabhupada is saying they never originated from that effulgence (inactive aspect of the Brahmajyoti) even though it may ''appear'' they do because of an enormous time span.

They have actually fallen to that effulgence by entering it at the end of the previous material creation or may have entered it as an impersonalist yogi, they have never originated from there or Maha Vishnu either because long, long, long before that they fell from Vaikuntha, this is explained here –

Revatīnandana - "You very clearly explained to me once in a letter that if the spirit soul then goes into the brahma-jyotir, he is considered still fallen. Still fallen. Does that means the whole brahma-jyotir is composed of fallen souls? You see my question? If I go there, I'm a jīva soul, and I go to the brahma-jyotir I'm still fallen.

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Revatīnandana - "That means all jīva souls there are also fallen souls".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Revatīnandana - "That follows?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "That is explained in the Bhagavad-gītā. Vibhinnāṁśa. Separated parts. Separated parts, vibhinnāṁśa. You can call it fallen".

Revatīnandana - "But we usually think of fallen as being forgetful".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes. This is also forgetfulness. In the brahma-jyotir you are forgetful still. Because you are... That is stated in the śāstra, anādhṛta yuṣmad anghrayaḥ. Anādhṛta. They do not know how to adore the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. That is forgetfulness".

Srila Prabhupada - “We have also come down from Vaikuntha some millions and millions of years ago.” - (Lecture on Bhagavad-gita on August 6, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - ‘’These spirit souls and all spirit souls are coming from Vaikuntha”. (Letter to Jagadisa das, 1970)

Srila Prabhupada - “As living spiritual souls we are all originally Krsna conscious entities, but due to our association with matter from time immemorial, our consciousness has now become polluted by the material atmosphere.”(Original Hare Krsna Happening record album New York 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - ”So, even in the Vaikuntha, if I desire that ‘Why shall I serve Krishna? Why not become Krishna?’ I immediately fall down.” (July 8, 1976 in Washington, D.C.)

Srila Prabhupada - "In the broader sense everyone comes from Krishna Loka. When one forgets Krishna he is conditioned, when one remembers Krishna he is liberated". (Letter to Mukunda, June 10, 1969)

It seems recent history proves in Kali-yuga, that the faith in Krishna being the only vaccine for all diseases, is extremely rare.

This is because so many Spiritual leaders have strayed so far away from proper Vedic standard that has allowed in invading primitive tribes, including Islam and to a lessor degree Christanity, that forced converted millions and greatly divided the Indian Subcontinent.

Today's Vedic Brahmin class (teachers) have become very weak and polluted with mundane demigod worship meant only for material gain which is responsible for this happening.

Yes, there is no question that for one who has 100% faith in their Spiritual Master and Krishna, then protection of the soul is there, especially at the time when a faithful devotee leaves the temporary decaying material body. Or rarer still, even by one previously trained like Arjamil.

Krishna Consciousness is the vaccine to rid us of the disease of this temporary material body

But while here in the material world, we have to be practical, Prabhupada was always chanting Hare Krishna and translating Vedic texts but when his finger got severely infected, he asked us to bring him a doctor who could give him penicillin (February 1973 Sydney Australia)

Even then a young devotee asked Prabhupada why didn't Krishna fully protect his pure devotee?

Prabhupada answered, "Oh yes, Krishna did protect me, He sent me the penicillin"

So in this Kali-yuga we see from 18th Century to the 20th Century, 300 million people died from Small Pox, 23 million just in India in the mid 1800s died from Cholera   and 20 million died from from the Spanish Influenza in 1918/20.

We can just chant Hare Krishna or do what ever we can to help the situation, just like if you break your leg, do you just chant Hare Krishna?

No, you see a doctor, get your leg straightened and put in a caste, in this way Krishna helps those who helps themselves, just like sending a doctor to Prabhupada who had penicillin that healed his infected finger.

Prabhupada did not just sit there and chant Hare Krishna expecting his finger to heal.

We should not expect Krishna to do everything for us, our relationship with Krishna is ALWAYS reciprocal meaning He likes to see us make endeavors and individual offerings too

After all, we are eternal individual living entities endowed with free will in Goloka Vrindavan and Vaikuntha however, in the material World, such free will is almost non existent due to the jiva soul becoming entangled in material existence life after life with entangled in their karmic reactions.

Only in the human form of life can we again question our existence and find a Spiritual Master to guide us.

ISKCON is reviving an age old Vedic system and bringing in a Golden Age of Spirituality based on the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu

When Prabhupada went back to India in 1970 with his "dancing white elephants", that was the beginning of this Vedic REVIVAL.

This is important to understand, their are big changes coming to this terrible Kali-yuga that will transform it for a short time (10,000 years)

However ISKCON is only 50 years into this revival and spiritual rejuvenation.

Slowly we are developing farms, ahimsa Milk, etc all over the world.

But it is still early pioneering days IN 2020.

As a Movement, ISKCON and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtan Movement is very young.

In 1972 Prabhupada spoke in his room that this ISKCON movement WILL bring in a Golden Age.

He said devotees in a few generations, will become very powerful Brahmins and even mystics, meaning their chanting mantras will have great potency.

Farming communities are an important part of this REVIVAL of Vedic Culture and Sanatam Dharma

Prabhupada told us this coming Golden Age will AGAIN revive the Vedic standard known in previous yugas like Dvarpara, and even Satya yuga!

This WILL happen with Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's poweful Sankirtan movement setting up in every major city and Town around the World, if ISKCON Members take his Books very seriously.

Can Vedic remedies cure the Coronavirus COVID-19? To answer that, let's look at history, the best teacher that intelligent people understand.

Sadly the less intelligent cannot understand that recorded History is a great teacher.

It is good to know that the Bhaktivedanta Hospital gives all childhood vaccinations now.

It was made compulsory after a 5 year old Russian boy died from Diphtheria in 2017, a disease long ago eradicated from the West due to vaccinations.

The fact is, people are NOT entitled to believe and practice how they choose regarding vaccines, NOT in today's world.

That's how innocent people get killed.

There are rules we all MUST follow regarding the present Coronavirus that protects otherwise one is fined or jailed.

Vaccines MUST be compulsory to all, no one has the right to choose.

Best explained this way, children under one year old cannot get the Influenza or Whooping cough vaccine.

Now if those kids are put in a Kindergarten with older kids not vaccinate, then they can catch these diseases.

This happened in Australia and 4 babies died because the Kindergarten authorities allowed in children whose parents are anti-vaccination.

The law now is ALL children over one year old MUST be vaccinated so others there under one are protected.

THERE IS NO CHOICE AND NOR SHOULD THERE BE.

Even our ISKCON Gurukula at Murwillumbah have been warned they MUST have only vaccinated children in the school or be shut down and loose all funding from the Government.

These days in a Global society vaccinations are compulsory and if anti-vaccination parents refuse vaccinations for their kids have their kids taken way from them or jailed.

I agree with this because vaccinations save lives, look at deaths before 1950 from diseases wherevover 200 million died, and look at deaths since the 1960s where Millions have been saved due to vaccinations.

I recently studied the effect that Ayuravedic Brahmins used under British occupation in India in 1919 against the Spanish Influenza virus?

Sadly they had no cure even though they tried different methods from burning Cow dung, spreading Ganges water, putting Tulsi leaf on the sick, and chanting various mantas, still 22 million Indians died from Influenza.

What did work in late part of the year 1920, was a nationwide lock down.

The fact is most of the teaching of Lord Dhanvantari was lost thousands of years ago at the beginning of Kali-yuga and the potency nor qualified Brahmins exist anymore.

ISKCON is trying to revive this ancient science however, this will take a few generations to acquire the purity needed to again bring potency to Vedic teachings.

The History of the 1918/20 Spanish Influenza pandemic that killed 22 million Indians and another 60 million around the World proves this.

The Indian Government are certainly not turning to Ayuravedic methods to fight the Coronavirus, they are using lock down and trying to develope a vaccine.

The vaccine for the Spanish Influenza pandemic was first developed in 1938 and protected allied troops including many Indian soldiers during World War 2.

Presently vaccinations must be used until the teachings of Dhanvantari (Ayuravedic methods) are revived, maturely understood, then successfully practised.

Look at History, before 1955 (from 1900 to 1955) 300 million people died of various diseases because there was no vaccine!!

That is why the world Population back then was so low in the 1930s, just 1.8 billion people and the life expectancy was just 59 years old.

However, since 1960, due to now having vaccines for -

Cholera,
Small Pox,
Diphtheria,
Rubella,
The Plague,
Leprosy,
Tetanus,
Mumps
Polio,
Cervical cancer,
Hepatitis,
Hepatitis B
HIV,
Influenza,
Whooping cough,
Measels
And many more

The World population is nearly 8 billion!

And the life span in countries that today in 2020 is 84.

Vaccinations, penicillin (first used in 1942 publicly) and good hygiene, diet and education is the cause of a massive population explosion since 1960.

ISKCON is reviving an age old Vedic system started in 1970 by Srila Prabhupada when he returned to India with his American disciples known to the Indian media as the "Dancing white elephants".

When Prabhupada went back to India in 1970 with his "dancing white elephants", this  marked the beginning of this Vedic REVIVAL and the beginning of a Golden Age in Kali-yuga.

This is important to understand, their are big changes coming to this terrible Kali-yuga inspired by the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu that will transform it for a short time (10,000 years)

However ISKCON is only just 50 years into this revival and spiritual rejuvenation meaning the movement is still young and in most cases in these early pioneering years, very immature.

Slowly we are developing farms, ahimsa Milk, etc all over the world.

But it is still early pioneering days, as a Movement ISKCON and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtan Movement is very young.

In 1972 Prabhupada spoke in his room that this movement WILL bring in a Golden Age.

He said devotees in a few generations, will become very powerful Brahmins and even mystics, meaning their chanting mantras will have great potency.

Farming communities are an important part of this REVIVAL of Vedic Culture and Sanatam Dharma

Prabhupada told us this coming Gold Age will AGAIN revive the Vedic standard known in previous yugas like Dvarpara, and even Satya yuga!

This WILL happen with Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's poweful Sankirtan movement setting up in every major city and Town around the World, if ISKCON Members take his Books very seriously.

Can Vedic remedies cure the Coronavirus COVID-19?

To answer that, let's look at history, the best teacher is history.

Did homopathic or Ayuravedic medician and potions work against past major pandemics?

History teaches us that no, both methods never came even close to erradicating the Spanish Influenza in 1918/20s (100 years ago) ìn India.

Back then under British rule, Brahmins even burned Cow dung, spread Ganges water, put Tulsi leaves on the sick, chanted Dhanvantari mantras, and also the Hare Krishna mantra.

Brahmins told the Indian people with Influenza the "Vedas teach" that saying the name Dhanvantari will cure all diseases.

Well that certainly did not stop any virus!

Still 22 million Indians died at this time from Influenza of 1918 to 1920 and killed another 60 million around the World.

NONE of the above Homeopathic or Ayuravedic methods seeking a cure worked history records!

It took 18 years (1938) until a vaccine was developed and worked against influenza that was given first to American troops in World War 2, then Allied troops including Indian troops fighting the Japanes saving an estimated 4 million Allied military personnel.

Today in 2020 the Indian Government do not look to any Ayuravedic cure, their scientists instead are looking for a vaccine.

They have learned from past pandemics of Influenza, Small Pox, Cholera, Maleria, Hepatitis is cleanliness and isolation bring down deaths until a vaccine is found.

The real reason why the Vedic methods did not work is based on faith, conviction and following the proper Vedic teachings.

The reason India suffered so much was due to India straying so far away from their Vedic roots and teachings, that the faith had long, long ago been watered down by nonsense demigod worship and atheism just after the beginning of Kali-yuga.

As a result, the potency of the Vedas was almost lost now 5000 years into Kali-yuga.

The failure of the weak selfish Brahmin class, also allowed India to be invaded over thousands of years by invading barbaric Armies where millions were later forced converted Islam.

Under Islamic rule, millions of those who followd the Vedas were converted or killed if they did not convert.

The weak Brahmin class sadly allowed this to happen because their principles were compromised.

The Muslim violent invaders had their own name for those who followed the Vedas,  they called them "Hindus" a word alien to Vedic texts.

Later Christanity also invaded India with the  Portuguese and British.

Christianity became stronger in the 19th and early 20th Century under the British rule of India where British Prime Minister Winston Churchill said all these heathens in India, bother Hindu and Muslim, must be converted to Christianity.

British rule ended in 1947 with India being split into three major Countries, two ruled by Islam and only India being manly Hindus but secular.

Today there are more Muslims in India than in the rogue nations of the Indian Subcontinent Pakistan and Bangladesh and the territory Kashmir.

Once again, if Indian Vedic Brahmins were strong in their faith and principles over the last 4000 years, none of this degragation would of happened, where primitive murderous barbaric Islam was allowed to conquer India like an invading killer virus pandemic.

If the Brahmin class was strong in their Vedic principals on the Indian Subcontinent, then barbaric Islam would of never successfully invaded in the 9th Century AD and cause so much havoc.

And today powerful Brahmins would know the true knowledge and medical teachings and methods from Lord Dhanvantari and defeat all dreaded pandemics, like the Coronavirus COVID-19.

This would be defeated by potent Brahmins who strictly follow and live by the Vedic standards.

The purpose of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtan Movement is to RE-ESTABLISH the potency and strong faith in the Vedas that we have not seen for thousands of years due to this Kali-yuga.

Lord Caitanya also gave all living entities in Kali-yuga an easy way to return back home, back to Godhead, by simply chanting the Hare Krishna Maha mantra.

This material creation is NOT our real home!

All the temporary material bodily vessels we take on our journey in the material creation, are NOT who we really are.

Our real identity is an eternal spiritual body in the Spiritual World (Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan)

In the material creation, all temporary bodily vessels or containers the jiva soul takes, eventually decays and fades away. The soul is then forced to take another material body if one still has material desires.

The problem is, all material bodily vessels are ALWAYS in a constant state of decline, disrepair, decay and in need of constant maintenance.

We must learn to understand that this material creation is NOT our real home.

This temporary material creation is always the external illusionary energy of the Lord that makes up 25% of the Spiritual Sky.

One should not waste their time trying to make themselves comfortable in this illusionary material world.

Real happiness can NEVER be achieved while we foolishly believe we are this decomposing, decaying material bodily vessel we are in.

The material bodies we see around us are also temporary containers that are in a constant state of decline and decay and part of this mundane temporary material creation.

Nearly everyone trapped here in this material creation, do not understand or comprehend that we are actually NOT the material external material bodily vessel, but are the passenger within (the jiva-soul).

Therefore this material creation is NOT our real home! And the material bodies we are in are NOT who we really are.

So right now is the time to go back home back to Godhead to our REAL eternal family in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana and discover our real eternal spiritual identity, personality and character.

Again, it is very important to understand that this material creation is NOT our real home....

Prabhupada told us we should not be ignorant of world events, we should have some basic knowledge of the World's history we live in.

Prabhupada told us we should not be ignorant of world events.

What was the biggest pandemic of the 20th Century and of all known history?

Smallpox was the biggest killer.

It is estimated that Smallpox killed around 500 million people in the last 100 years of its existence.

It was eradicated in 1980 due to vaccines and antibiotics.

As recently as 1967, 15 million cases of Smallpox occurred a year.

An outbreak of Smallpox in West Bengal India in 1974 killed almost 20,000 people.

However, today due to vaccines and antibiotics, it is has been erradicated since 1980.

These following diseases decimated the world's population in the 19th Century and in the early 20th Century -

Smallpox,
Bubonic Plague
Malaria,
Influenza,
Polio
Ebola,
Tuberculosis,
Cholera,
Leprosy,
Diphtheria,
Hepatitis,
Measels,
Childhood deaths at birth due to no hygiene.

7 out 10 births in the 19th Century ended in death caused by doctor's unclean habits, like not washing hands, it was practiced in Hungry as early as 1850, but was only taken seriously in the United States until the early 1890s.

The invention of the microscope in 1590 revealed a whole new world of germs, bacteria and viruses, but no one back then understood this "underworld of creatures" they could now see, caused diseases.

That would not be realized until the 1850s in Europe and 1890s in the United States.

Only in the 1890s was hand washing introduced in American hospitals because doctors now believed that  germs, bacterial and virus could kill you.

This practise of washing hands spread all over the world, from Europe, to the Americas, China and India.

And immediately childhood death mortality decreased.

The fact is, millions died because of unclean filthy habits and having no vaccines or antibiotics (Not introduced until 1942)

And of course, religious superstition nonsense, generally condemned all modern scientific advancement.

Religious nonsense ideas at this time, believed that each disease was a demon possessing the body. This belief was very prominant, especially in Europe, the Americas and India.

These primitive nonsense superstitious  beliefs denied millions of proper medical care.

(How the demigods control material affairs is on my blog page, what is explained here is how ignorant religions were in the 19th Century of their own tradition that includes the Vedas)

The World population as late as the beginning of the 20th Century, was kept under just one billion people due diseases and the ignorant superstitious  way they were dealt with by religious nonsense in mainly Christianity and Demigod worship in India.

Today because of vaccines, antibiotics, washing one's hands and keeping everything clean, including a better understanding of mental health, instead of claiming everyone with mental illness is possessed by demons, the life span is a lot longer.

Brahma-bhuta possessions (ghostly haunted) does exist however, it is very, very rare, 99% of all mental illness and disturbances is due to a biological imbalance in the brain, a tumor.

Or from experience of some form of child abuse, exploitation and having one's self esteem and worth squashed by a bully or over demanding family members or so called friends.

We see today the world population has exploded to almost 8 billion people.

Even as late as the 1970s, I witness how primitive India's health system was.

In Vrindavana people would pass stool on the sides of road.

And then at 6pm, the authorities let out wild pigs who would go through the streets of Vrindavana eating up the stool.

This was their sewage system then.

Materially in the early 1970s, I found India a filthy unclean place where many devotees got very sick, some even died.

Today in 2020, India has greatly improved due medical advancement where authorities no longer follow nonsense Astrology, and ONLY include their Ayurvedic roots for basic health.

Ayuravedic medician DOES have many good remedies however, it has nothing like antibiotics and vaccines, nor can their Ayurvedic doctors perform heart, liver, skin, limbs and Kidney transplants, or proper diabetes drugs that have saved millions of lives, allowing India's population to reach 1.4 billion people.

In the 21st Century there are still dangerous pandemics like.

Coronavirus COVID-19 (2020 that caused a world wide shut down killing 90,000 people in its first 4 weeks (still happening now as I write),
Pneumonia,
SARS,
Hepatitis B,
Avian Influenza...

Krishna (God) is NOT responsible for all the suffering in the material creation, even though the material worlds (Brahmandas) are His creation.

The individual souls are responsible for their own actions when they first enter the material creation.

This is because of their free will that allows them to act in anyway they desire.

However, the trapped jiva soul's covered by material energy, find themselves completely overwhelmed by the reactions of their own deeds (karma) and eventually become so entangled by pious and impious actions, they lose what ever little freedom they have and become controlled by their own karmic reactions.

The little freedom or free will the jiva soul has is only expressed in the human form and NOT in the lower species of life, where the instincts of eating, sleeping, mating and defending control all their actions.

Also Karma, good and bad, is NOT created in the lower species of life, only in the human form is karma created.

This is because only in the human form of life is one responsible for their actions.

In the material creation, so many terrible things are continually happening due to the temporary decaying nature of the material energy, and the mistaken selfish desires of the rebellious jiva souls who have previously rejected God and His perpetual Kingdom.

All suffering in the material creation does NOT happen because Krishna allows it too to happen.

No, Krishna is NOT responsible for all the suffering in the material creation, even though the material worlds (unlimited Brahmanda universes) are His creation.

Krishna does not interfere with the jiva soul's free will regardless of their choices good or bad.

All the suffering in the material creation happens because the individual jiva-souls choose to continue to misuse their free will and independence given to them by Krishna.

That freedom is given to the jiva soul so they can choose to have loving meaningful exchanges with Krishna based on voluntary reciprocation in a two way exchange.

Without free will, there can never be loving reciprocal exchanges in a two way contributing relationship.

This is why Krishna gave the jiva soul's free will because without it, genuine loving selfless service can never exist.

But included in having free will, also means the jiva soul can reject Krishna if they choose and even defy His laws.

Therefore Krishna NEVER interferes with the jiva-soul's free will, if he did, He would be denying them the ability to make their own choices.

Without the freedom of self expression, the jiva-souls would be no better than dead stone,  having no individual sense of self or their own unique independent personality.

Nor would they have the personal ability to except and give love.

Free will allows the jiva soul's to engage in voluntary loving exchanges of service in their own unique personal special way, in the mood of loving reciprocation.

These are the characteristics that make the jiva-soul or marginal living entities, the individual persons they eternal are.

Love is NEVER a one way street, it can ONLY exist when there are loving reciprocal exchanges between Krishna and His devotees.

Surrendering one's free will for Krishna to completely control NEVER happens in Vaikuntha or GolokaVrindavana.

If one's free will was given up and surrendered to Krishna, it would be like one being controlled like a mindless puppet is controlled by its strings, taking away from the jiva souls their ability to make their own choices, and offer their own personal unique contributions.

Therefore Krishna NEVER interferes with the jiva souls free will or would ever force a jiva soul to surrender their free will.

If Krishna controls the jiva soul in every way in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan, then that cold one sided relationship poisoned by impersonalism.

Such a nonsense one sided dicatorial relationship would simply make the jiva-souls no better than "mindless lifeless dead stone" Prabhupada has explained.

The jiva-souls in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan always have free will as part of their individual marginal identity, allowing them to each have their own unique  personal relationship with Vishnu or Krishna.

In other words, each jiva soul has their own special unique association and relationship with Krishna.

The material creation is for those who choose to rejected Vishnu or Krishna and do their own thing.

So why then does Krishna allow so much suffering in the material creation?

As explained above, Krishna gives the jiva-soul's free will that makes them fully responsible for their actions, and allows them to voluntarily love Krishna by choice and NEVER by force.

Entering the temporary material creation is a mistake by those jiva-souls who have chosen to enter it because it is NOT the real home of the jiva-souls.

However, each jiva-soul can make their own choices due to their constitutional nature as an independent free thinking part and parcels of Krishna.

As also explained above, Krishna allows this "freedom" to all jiva-souls because without "free will", there can NEVER be loving reciprocal voluntary exchanges between two.

Love is NEVER a "one way street" where Krishna forcibly dictates everything to the jiva souls that will only destroy their independence.

No, Each individual jiva soul has their own independent sense of self and a unique character and personality separate from Krishna.

Without this freedom that is only possibly expressed in a "two way" relationship, there can NEVER be any reciprocal love between Krishna and the marginal living entity (jiva-soul)

Sadly, some jiva-souls make the wrong choices Prabhupada has told us, giving the figure at less than 10%, but the adds over 90% "choose to NEVER rebel or fall down to the material creation from Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana.

While in the material creation, their actions good and bad, come under the laws of material nature called karma, and they have answer for all they do.

This means the jiva-soul is FULLY responsible for their own actions, life after life after life in the material creation.

It must be emphasied that Krishna is NOT responsible for the choices the jiva-soul makes in the Spiritual Worlds or material creation, the jiva's are FULLY responsible for their actions.

All suffering therefore is caused by the reactions of their own mistaken choices and actions.

In other words, the jiva-soul is punished or rewarded for what ever actions, good or bad, they have "chosen" to act out, that may not be payed for until the next life in the material creation, or even the life after that.

This is important to understand, that each jiva soul is responsible for their own actions.

Then we will understand that we CANNOT blame Krishna for the suffering going on in this material creation, including the suffering of young children dying of so many different diseases, or from accidents.

We forget or are not properly educated to see the "jiva soul" in a child's material body is eternal and has had millions of previous bodies and are responsible for whatever pious or impious actions done in those previous lives.

This why one child is in a rich family and is always healthy, and why another child lives in poverty or is always suffering from different diseases.

It is all based on what the jiva soul did in previous lives.

Many are blinded by the external material bodily vessel the soul is trapped in, and CANNOT see the jiva soul inside the gross material bodily container or vessel.

What many do not see is that the "jiva-soul is eternal" and has had many material bodily vessels as Bhagavad Gita As It Is teaches.

Therefore, all the suffering in the present material body of a young child, is coming from what ever the jiva-soul in that child's present young material body, did in a previous life time, or life times ago.

The bank balance of karmic reactions, good and bad, are stored in the subtle body that are accumulated from thousands of previous lives, and are continuously unfolding to our present material body.

The good and bad reactions from past lives are carried at death in the subtle material body that enters the next gross material body.

Such karma, good and bad, gradually unfolds to the present body one is now living in, and continues to unfold to all future lives (material bodies) the jiva-soul enters within the material universe.

For advanced souls with transcendental knowledge, they can see that all suffering and pleasure in the material creation is caused by the actions made over many, many previous live times.

As previous explained, it is important to understand that we cannot blame God for our suffering, or anybody else, clearly we are responsible.

We all get what we deserve, no more, no less, what goes around comes around.

Paintings description -

Without free will in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan, meaning the jiva souls always have an independent sense of self worth, individuality, unique character and personality, then there can NEVER be reciprocal love between Krishna and the marginal living entity (jiva-soul)

Srila Prabhupada has said without free will and the ability to reciprocate as an independent individual servant of Lord Krishna, then we are all no better than a dead useless stone.
