Lord Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes and not a blade of grass moves without His sanction, therefore even "free will" can only be given by Krsna because EVERYTHING is under His jurisdiction.

However, if the jiva-souls have no "free will" in the spiritual world, then they are no better than dead stone Prabhupada tells us.

Being a marginal living entity (the jiva-souls) means free will also.

Therefore, independence and self expression means each jīva-soul has there own unique personality separate from Krsna's Personality. 

Otherwise without free will, how can the jiva-souls voluntarily choose to express themselves and contribute in their own unique way to their relationship with Krsna?

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no "free will", then you are a stone. The stone has no "free will". You want to be stone? Then you must have "free will!" But don't misuse your "free will". But don't try to become stone either. That is not life." (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

There must always be a choice otherwise there is no question of loving voluntary exchanges with Krsna.  

Srila Prabhupada – "So everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, or one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that is not independence, that is force." (Los Angeles, June 23, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is "free will". Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of "free will." Where is free will then? If I act only one-sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will."

Hayagriva - "A man may know better but still act wrongly."

Srila Prabhupada - "Yes, but that is free will, he misuses his. Just like a thief, he knows that his stealing, it is bad, but still he does it. That is free will. He cannot check his greediness, so in spite of his knowing that he is doing wrong thing—he will be punished, he knows; he has seen another thief, he was punished, he was put into prison— everything he knows, but still he steals. Why? Misuse of free will. Unless there is misuse of free will, there is no question of free will." (From - Philosophy Discussions with Srila Prabhupada – Rene Descartes)

The individual jiva-souls are independent living entities in the spiritual world (yet simultaneously dependent on Krsna), having their own unique personality and sense of self that is separate from Krsna's Personality, yet, as said above are simultaneously ALWAYS dependent on Krsna as His parts and parcels.

The reason why Krsna gives the jiva-souls their independence and free will is so they can choose for themselves how to serve Him in their own unique personal way. 

Without experiencing loving relationships in a two-way reciprocal exchange, the jiva-souls are no better than dead emotionless stone!

This means the jiva-souls can always contribute their own unique offerings without any pressure or force from Krsna. 

Real love or service can ONLY exist when "free will" allows the jiva-souls to voluntarily participate in loving devotional service and contribute to the relationship with Krsna with their very best. 

Surrender to Krsna in the spiritual world does NOT mean giving up your "free will" and allowing Krsna to control your every actions, deeds and thoughts like a puppet master controls his puppets.

Such bogus "surrender" is Impersonalism.

No, the jiva-souls in the spiritual world are NOT programmed mindless drones, slaves, yes men and women or puppets who only obey and never make their own personal contributions to the relationship in a two-way exchange with Krsna by thinking for themselves how to serve Krsna.

Only by having "free will" can genuine loving exchanges and reciprocation take place.

Therefore, loving exchanges are a two-way street and without "free will" the jiva-soul is no better than dead stone as explained above.

According to the Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Purana), Krsna (God) is an independent PERSON yet simultaneously lives side by side with every jiva-soul as Himself in the spiritual world, and as Paramatma (the Supersoul) in the material world.

Krsna's two basic categories of living entities are-

1 - Visnu-tattva (the Supreme Lord)

2 - Jiva-tattva (the individual jiva soul)

There are other living beings too but are expansions of Viṣṇu-tattva and also have 60 of Krsna's 64 qualities, or 93.75%. 

Or those in a league of their own, namely Siva-tattva, who has 55 of Krsna's 64 qualities, or 85.938%.

Srila Prabhupada – "In the Padma Purana, wherein it is said that there are "two kinds of spiritual entities," one is called the jiva, and the other is called the Supreme Lord." (87th Ch of Krsna Book - "Prayers by the Personified Vedas")

The appearance of the Lord in the material creation.

Lord Krsna and Lord Caitanya come ONLY "once" to this material universe every 8 billion 640 Million human years.

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the Golden Avatara for this age of Kali-yuga, and does NOT appear in every Kali-yuga, He only appears in ONE Kali-yuga out of every thousand. 

Just like Lord Krsna in His original form, He also only appears in ONE Dvāpara-yuga out of every thousand.

Lord Krsna appears in the Dvāpara-yuga just before the Kali-yuga Lord Caitanya appears in.

This means both Lord Krsna and Lord Caitanya come ONLY "once" every 8 billion 640 Million human years, which is a "day/night" 24 hour period of Lord Brahma's time.

Srila Prabhupada – "Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Caitanya appear "once" in each day of Brahmā." (CC Adi 3.10 Text 10 Purport)

Srila Prabhupada –"At the end of the Dvāpara-yuga of the twenty-eighth Maha-yuga (during the 7th Manu known as Vaivasvata Manu), Lord Kṛṣṇa appears on earth with the full paraphernalia of His eternal Vraja-dhāma." (CC Adi 3.10 Text 10)

Therefore during the 28th Maha-yuga of the Vaivasvata Manu (the 7th Manu of 14), Lord Kṛṣṇa first appears at the close of the Dvāpara-yuga and then Lord Caitanya appears in the Kali-yuga of the same Maha yuga.

Devotee - "Śrīla Prabhupāda, does Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu also appear every day of Brahma?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes, following Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa comes in the Dvāpara-yuga. There are four periods of each yuga: Satva, Tretā, Dvāpara, Kali. So Kṛṣṇa comes at the end of Dvāpara-yuga, and Caitanya Mahāprabhu comes in the Kali-yuga." (Lecture, SB Canto 6 Ch 1 Text 3 - Melb, Australia May 22, 1975)

Our Kali-yuga we are in now, is very rare because of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's appearance. 

As explained above, He appears just "once" out of every thousand Maha-yugas.

And Lord Krsna, as His original form, appears only in the Dvāpara-yuga just before the Kali-yuga Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu appears in.

Lord Krsna also does not appear as His original Vrindavana form in every Dvāpara-yuga either, He only comes to ONE Dvāpara-yuga out of every thousand as said above.

As said above, both Lord Krsna and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu only come "ONCE" in every "day/night" of Lord Brahma (between Sun-rise and Sun-set) when all the 1000 Maha-yugas exist.

There are no Maha-yugas during Brahma's night (from Sun-set to Sun-rise).

The Sanskrit word "Tattva" is used to denote certain categories of Krsna's energies explained here.

Vaisnavism.

Within Puranic literatures and Vaiśnava philosophy, tattva is used to denote certain categories of Krsna's energies such as-

There are many tattvas coming from Krsna the Supreme personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes.

Viśnu-tattva

Any incarnation or expansion of Śrī Kṛṣṇa like all Visnu/Narayana forms, Lord Ramachandra, Narsinga deva etc who have 93.75% of Krsna’s 100% qualities which is 60 of Krsna's 64 attributes.

Śakti-Tattva

The multifarious energies of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. It includes his internal potency that includes Srimati Radharani, Yoga Maya, and material prakṛti.

Krsna's eternal consort Srimati Rādhārāṇī is the manifestation of the pleasure potency of Krsna and is His internal sakti potency.

Jiva-tattva 

Jiva-tattva, or the individual jiva-souls who have 78.125% of Krsna's 100% qualities which are 50 of Krsna's 64 attributes.

Śiva-tattva

Śiva is not jiva-tattva or Visnu-tattva, he is in the middle with 85.938 % of Krsna’s 100% qualities which are 55 of Krsna's 64 attributes.

Mahat-tattva

The total material energy (prakṛti).

In Gaudiya Vaisnavism there is also the Pancha Tattva

These five Tattvas begin are- 

1 - Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu who is the combination of Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

2 - Lord Nityananda who is Balarama, Krsna's older brother.

3 - Sri Advaita is the combined "potency of Maha Visnu and Lord Siva.

4 - Gadadhara is Radharani and the internal potency.

5 - Srivas (jiva-tattva) who is Narada Muni and great devotee of Krsna.

The Pancha-tattva living entities are made up of Krsna's direct Visnu-tattva and Sakti-Visnu-tattva expansions except for Srivas who is jiva-tattva.

Krsna is complete in Himself and can NEVER be alone because He is ALWAYS enjoying as "two", Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

He is simultaneously one and different from all things, meaning He can NEVER be alone because He is already EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING is always part and parcel of Him.

This is the fullness of Lord Krsna.

Krsna is the Supreme controller and fully satisfied in Himself, that simultaneously includes all His expansions that are part and parcel of Himself as correctly explained above.

In other words, when we think of Krsna, it is incorrect to see Him as alone and ONE because He is NEVER just one, and He is NEVER alone.

Krsna IS the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes meaning He is simultaneously ALL His expansions and can NEVER be alone.

Guest - "Are we are expansions of Rādhā?"

Srila Prabhupada - "No. Rādhā is the internal potency, we are marginal potency. Of course, originally, in that sense, everything is Kṛṣṇa's expansion. Sarvaṁ khalv idaṁ brahma. But even there are expansions... That is the difference between Māyāvāda philosophy and Vaiṣṇava philosophy.

Caitanya Mahāprabhu teaches acintya bhedābheda. We are always simultaneously one and different. 

We should remember. We are expansions of Kṛṣṇa, we are expansion of Rādhā also because Rādhā is also Kṛṣṇa. But still, different.

That is our philosophy- 

"One and different simultaneously - Acintya bhedābheda."

Caitanya Mahāprabhu's philosophy is "inconceivable simultaneously one and different".

This is explained in the Seventh Chapter of Bhagavad-gītā. The energies and the energetic is the same. Śakti-śaktimator abheda.

Just like sun and the sunshine, they are the same. There is no difference. But the molecules of the sunshine particles, that is not equal to the sun.

These truths we shall always remember. Acintyāḥ khalu ye bhāvāḥ. Therefore these are inconceivable. We are simultaneously one with Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā, and at the same time different." (Lecture on BG 4.5 - Montreal, June 10, 1968)

Srila Prabhupada - "Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are "one and the same", but They have assumed two bodies. Thus They enjoy each other, tasting the mellows of love. 

The two transcendentalists Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are a puzzle to materialists. 

The description of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa from the diary of Śrīla Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī is a condensed explanation, but one needs great spiritual insight to understand the mystery of these two personalities.

One is enjoying in two.

Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the potent factor, and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the internal potency.

According to Vedānta philosophy, there is no difference between the potent and the potency; they are identical. We cannot differentiate between one and the other, any more than we can separate fire from heat.

Everything in the Absolute is inconceivable in relative existence. Therefore in relative cognizance it is very difficult to assimilate this truth of the oneness between the potent and the potency.

The philosophy of inconceivable oneness and difference propounded by Lord Caitanya is the only source of understanding for such intricacies of transcendence.

In fact, Rādhārāṇī is the internal potency of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and She eternally intensifies the pleasure of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. 

Impersonalists cannot understand this without the help of a mahā-bhāgavata devotee.

The very name “Rādhā” suggests that Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is eternally the topmost mistress of the comforts of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. As such, She is the medium transmitting the living entities’ service to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Devotees in Vṛndāvana therefore seek the mercy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī in order to be recognized as loving servitors of Śrī Kṛṣṇa." (CC Adi 4.56, Translation and Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "When Krsna wants to be attracted by a woman, He has to create such a woman from His own energy. That woman is Rādhārāṇī." (SB Canto 3 Ch 31 text 38 Purport)

Krsna divided Himself into "two" so He could experience loving exchanges. 

For even Krsna, love can NEVER exist when there is just "one", there MUST be His expansions beginning  with Srimati Radharani and His Visnu-tattva and jiva-tattva expansions.

To experience loving exchanges and emotions with a women, Krsna divided Himself into two, Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

Krsna wanted to experience loving emotions and affection with a women, this is why He divided Himself into "two" - Radha and Krsna, just so He could experience those loving exchanges.

Madhudviṣa Swami - "Śrīla Prabhupāda, you spoke of inferior energy and superior energy. Those are two general categories. Are there other categories of energies besides that, and specifically how could we understand Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī Is She?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "She is spiritual energy."

Madhudviṣa Swami - "But is She jīva-bhūta or?"

Srila Prabhupada - "No, no, no. She is Kṛṣṇa. If everything is Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārāṇī is not Kṛṣṇa, what is that? Kṛṣṇa. He (She) is Kṛṣṇa. She is the Kṛṣṇa's pleasure potency."

Madhudviṣa Swami - "She is not jīva?"

Srila Prabhupada - "No, no, no. She is Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa divided Himself into His energy and Himself. That energy, original spiritual energy, is Rādhārāṇī. That is stated by Jīva Gosvāmī. Rādhā kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtir hlādinī śaktir asmāt. When Kṛṣṇa wants pleasure, He cannot accept the inferior energy. 

The same superior energy, Kṛṣṇa, is divided into two. That is Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. 

And again, when they unite, that is Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Divided, they are Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, and united, Caitanya Mahāprabhu. 

Śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya rādhā-kṛṣṇa nahe anya. Anya means another. 

So Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya is combination of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. 

And when they are divided into two, that is Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. This is the purport. Rādhā kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtir hlādinī śaktir asmād ekātmānāv api bhuvi purā deha-bhedaṁ gatau tau, śrī-caitanyākhyaṁ prakaṭam adhunā tad-dvayaṁ caikyam āptam [Cc. Ādi 1.5]. These are the conclusion. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa combination. But He is playing the part of Rādhārāṇī to understand Kṛṣṇa. This is Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Rādhārāṇī is the chief gopī and all Her young girl friends, they are also gopīs." (Lecture on SB, Canto 2.1.1-5 - Melbourne, June 26, 1974)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Rādhikā is the transformation of Kṛṣṇa’s love. She is His internal energy called hlādinī." (CC, Adi 4.59, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "mind, senses and body are steeped in love for Kṛṣṇa. She is Kṛṣṇa’s own energy, and She helps Him in His pastimes.

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is as fully spiritual as Kṛṣṇa. No one should consider Her to be material. She is definitely not like the conditioned souls, who have material bodies, gross and subtle, covered by material senses. She is all-spiritual, and both Her body and Her mind are of the same spiritual embodiment. 

Because Her body is spiritual, Her senses are also spiritual. Thus Her body, mind and senses fully shine in love of Kṛṣṇa. She is the personified hlādinī-śakti (the pleasure-giving energy of the Lord’s internal potency), and therefore She is the only source of enjoyment for Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Śrī Kṛṣṇa cannot enjoy anything that is internally different from Him. Therefore Rādhā and Śrī Kṛṣṇa are identical. 

The sandhinī portion of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency has manifested the all-attractive form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and the same internal potency, in the hlādinī feature, has presented Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, who is the attraction for the all-attractive. No one can match Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī in the transcendental pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa." (CC, Adi 4.71, Translation and Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Just as the fountainhead, Lord Kṛṣṇa, is the cause of all incarnations, so Śrī Rādhā is the cause of all these consorts." (CC, Adi 4.76, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Rādhā is the one who gives pleasure to Govinda, and She is also the enchantress of Govinda. She is the be-all and end-all of Govinda, and the crest jewel of all His consorts." (CC, Adi 4.82, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita -  "The transcendental goddess Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the direct counterpart of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. She is the central figure for all the goddesses of fortune. She possesses all the attractiveness to attract the all-attractive Personality of Godhead. She is the primeval internal potency of the Lord." (CC, Adi 4.83, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "When Krsna wants to be attracted by a woman, He has to create such a woman from His own energy. That woman is Rādhārāṇī. It is explained by the Gosvāmīs that Rādhārāṇī is the manifestation of the pleasure potency of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

When the Supreme Lord wants to derive transcendental pleasure, He has to create a woman from His internal potency and that women is Srimati Radharani." (SB, Canto 3 Ch 31 text 38, Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Among the gopīs, You, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, are the chief. Therefore You are the very life of My life and center of all Vṛndāvana’s activities." (CC, Madhya 13.150, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "From Kṛṣṇa’s own statement above, it appears that Rādhārāṇī is the Queen of Vṛndāvana and that Kṛṣṇa is simply Her decoration. Kṛṣṇa is known as Madana-mohana, the enchanter of Cupid, but Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the enchanter of Kṛṣṇa. Consequently Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is called Madana-mohana-mohinī, the enchanter of the enchanter of Cupid." (CC, Madhya 13.150, Translation and Purport)

"Simultaneously one and difference" philosophy is the teachings of Lord Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the reservoir of all pleasure, and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the personification of ecstatic love of Godhead. These two forms Radha and Krsna had combined as ONE in Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. This being the case, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu revealed His real form to Rāmānanda Rāya." (CC, Madhya 8.282, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "I have now converted My body and mind into the ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; thus I am tasting My own personal sweetness in that form." Gaurasundara (Lord Caitanya) here informed Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya-

"My dear Rāmānanda Rāya, you were actually seeing a separate person with a fair-complexioned body. Actually I am not fair. Being Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the son of Nanda Mahārāja, I am blackish, but when I come in touch with Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī I become fair-complexioned externally. Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī does not touch the body of anyone but Kṛṣṇa. I taste My own transcendental features by accepting the complexion of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. Without Rādhārāṇī, one cannot taste the transcendental pleasure of Kṛṣṇa’s conjugal love."

In this regards Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura comments on the prākṛta-sahajiyā-sampradāya, which considers Kṛṣṇa and Lord Caitanya to possess different bodies. They misinterpret the words gaura aṅga nahe mora in text 287. From that verse and the present verse we can understand that Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu is nondifferent from Kṛṣṇa.

Both are the same Supreme Personality of Godhead. 

In the form of Kṛṣṇa, the Lord enjoys spiritual bliss and remains the shelter of all devotees, viṣaya-vigraha. And in His Gaurāṅga feature Kṛṣṇa tastes separation from Kṛṣṇa in the ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. This ecstatic form is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya. Śrī Kṛṣṇa is always the transcendental reservoir of all pleasure, and He is technically called dhīra-lalita. Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the embodiment of spiritual energy, personified as ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa; therefore only Kṛṣṇa can touch Her.

The dhīra-lalita aspect is not seen in any other form of the Lord, including Viṣṇu and Nārāyaṇa. Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is therefore known as Govinda-nandinī and Govinda-mohinī, for She is the only source of transcendental pleasure for Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the only person who can enchant His mind." (CC, Madhya 8.288, Translation and Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "My dearest Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, please hear Me. I am speaking the truth. I cry day and night simply upon remembering all you inhabitants of Vṛndāvana. No one knows how unhappy this makes Me." (CC, Madhya 13.149, Translation) 

Srila Prabhupada - "It is said-

vṛndāvanaṁ parityajya padam ekaṁ na gacchati. 

In one sense, Kṛṣṇa, the original Personality of Godhead (īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ sac cid ānanda vigrahaḥ [Bs. 5.1]), does not even take one step away from Vṛndāvana.

However, in order to take care of various duties, Kṛṣṇa had to leave Vṛndāvana. He had to go to Mathurā to kill Kaṁsa, and then He was taken by His father to Dvārakā, where He was busy with state affairs and disturbances created by demons. 

Kṛṣṇa was away from Vṛndāvana, and He was not at all happy, as He plainly disclosed to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. She is the dearmost life and soul of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and He expressed His mind to Her as follows." (CC, Madhya 13.149, Translation and Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Kṛṣṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead continued - "All the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana-dhāma—My mother, father, cowherd boyfriends and everything else—are like My life and soul. And among all the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana, the gopīs are My very life and soul, and among the gopīs, You, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, are the chief. Therefore You are the very life of My life. Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the center of all Vṛndāvana’s activities. 

In Vṛndāvana, Kṛṣṇa is the instrument of Śrīmatī zero; therefore all the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana still chant "Jaya Rādhe!" (CC, Madhya 13.150, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "From Kṛṣṇa’s own statement above, it appears that Rādhārāṇī is the Queen of Vṛndāvana and that Kṛṣṇa is simply Her decoration. Caitanya Caritamrita - "Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the chief. She is a jewel mine of ecstatic love and the source of all purified transcendental conjugal mellows." (CC, Madhya 14.160, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Of all the gopīs, Rādhārāṇī is the dearmost. Similarly, the lake known as Rādhā-kuṇḍa is very dear to the Lord because it is very dear to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī." (CC, Madhya 18.7, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who appeared as the son of Nanda Mahārāja, is the supreme hero in all dealings. Similarly, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost heroine in all dealings." (CC, Madhya 23.66, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "Viṣaya and āśraya are two very significant words relating to the reciprocation between Kṛṣṇa and His devotee. The devotee is called the āśraya, and his beloved, Kṛṣṇa, is the viṣaya. Different ingredients are involved in the exchange of love between the āśraya and viṣaya, which are known as vibhāva, anubhāva, sāttvika and vyabhicārī.

Vibhāva is divided into the two categories ālambana and uddīpana. Ālambana may be further divided into āśraya and viṣaya.

In the loving affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, Rādhārāṇī is the āśraya feature and Kṛṣṇa the viṣaya. The transcendental consciousness of the Lord tells Him, “I am Kṛṣṇa, and I experience pleasure as the viṣaya. The pleasure enjoyed by Rādhārāṇī, the āśraya, is many times greater than the pleasure I feel.”

Therefore, to feel the pleasure of the āśraya category, Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu." (CC, Adi 4.135, Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "Among the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the foremost. She surpasses all in beauty, in good qualities, in good fortune and, above all, in love. 

Among all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the most exalted. She is the most beautiful, the most qualified and, above all, the greatest lover of Kṛṣṇa". (CC, Adi 4.214, Translation and Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Rādhā is the beloved consort of Kṛṣṇa, and She is the wealth of His life. Without Her, the gopīs cannot give Him pleasure". (CC, Adi 4.218, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada -  "Distinguishing between pure devotees and internal or confidential devotees, Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, in his book Upadeśāmṛta, traces the following gradual process of development.

Out of many thousands of karmīs, one is better when he is situated in perfect Vedic knowledge.

Out of many such learned scholars and philosophers, one who is actually liberated from material bondage is better, and out of many such persons who are actually liberated, one who is a devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is considered to be the best.

Among the many such transcendental lovers of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the gopīs are the best, and among the gopīs Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the best.

Śrīmatī Rādhikā is very dear to Lord Kṛṣṇa, and similarly Her ponds, namely, Śyāma-kuṇḍa and Rādhā-kuṇḍa, are also very dear to the Supreme Personality of Godhead." (CC, Adi 7.18-19, Purport)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Kṛṣṇa’s desire in the rāsa-līlā circle is perfectly complete, but Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the binding link in that desire." (CC, Madhya-lila 8.113, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "The body of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is a veritable transformation of love of Godhead; She is the dearmost friend of Kṛṣṇa, and this is known throughout the world." (CC, Madhya 8.162, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "That supreme ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the essence of spiritual life. Her only business is to fulfill all the desires of Kṛṣṇa." (CC, Madhya 8.164, Translation)

Caitanya Caritamrita - "Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost spiritual gem, and the other gopīs—Lalitā, Viśākhā and so on-are expansions of Her spiritual body." (CC, Madhya 8.165, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "In his Amṛta pravāha bhāṣya, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura states, “Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the creeper of love of Godhead, and the gopīs are exactly like twigs, flowers and leaves.

When water is sprinkled on the creeper, the twigs, flowers and leaves indirectly receive all the benefits of the creeper itself.

But water sprinkled directly on the twigs, leaves and flowers is not as effective as water sprinkled on the creeper’s root.

The gopīs are not as pleased when they directly mix with Kṛṣṇa as when they serve to unite Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī with Kṛṣṇa. 

Their transcendental pleasure lies in uniting Them.” Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost." (CC, Madhya 8.210, Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "In the Ādi Purāṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself says:

na tathā me priyatamo brahmā rudraś ca pārthiva na ca lakṣmīr na cātmā ca yathā gopī-jano mama

“Lord Brahmā, Lord Śiva, the goddess of fortune and even My own self are not as dear to Me as the gopīs.”

Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost. Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī are the most exalted servitors of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Those who adhere to their service are known as rūpānuga devotees." (CC, Madhya 8.246, Purport)

Lord Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes who has 64 qualities in full.

This means the 64 qualities of Krsna ARE His full potential, having 100% of His own attributes that other beings only partially have.

The Visnu-tattva (also God) expansions of Krsna have only 60 qualities out of the 64 which is 93.75% of Krsna's qualities. 

Many Vedic scholars, Hindu academics and other Sangas cannot understand why Krsna has more qualities than Visnu or Narayana, and why Krsna IS the original Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes. 

Therefore, Visnu/Narayana are expansions of Krsna and NOT the other way around as many Hindus wrongly believe.

In other words, Krsna is NOT an expansion of Visnu in the spiritual world, Krsna is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause  of all causes from whom EVERYTHING else expands from.

The 4 qualities Visnu/Narayana do NOT have in full all the time like Krsna does, are as follows-

(1) Krsna is the performer of wonderful varieties of pastimes (especially His childhood pastimes).

(2) Krsna is surrounded by devotees endowed with wonderful love of Godhead.

(3) Krsna can attract all living entities all over the universes by playing on His flute.

(4) Krsna has a wonderful excellence of beauty which cannot be rivaled anywhere in the creation.

These four qualities ONLY Krsna has in full all the time. 

1 - This is important to understand because all Visnu/Narayana forms of God have only 60 of Krsna's 64 qualities which is 93.75% of Krsna’s 100% attributes. Visnu/Narayana can sometimes exhibited some of these extra qualities partially.

2 - Siva-tattva is in a league of his own and has 55 qualities of Krsna's 64 attributes which is 85.938% of Krsna's 100% qualities.

3 - The jiva-tattva (jiva-souls) have 50 of Krsna's 64 qualities which is made7uuùu 78.125% of Krsna's 100% attributes. 

The Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Krsna has all sixty four transcendental qualities in full.

And, as explained above, their are four extra qualities that not even Visnu/Narayana has in full.

So for those who ask what is the difference between Krsna (64 qualities) and Visnu/Narayana (60 qualities) read the four extra qualities above that only Krsna has in full. 

In actual fact, the full extent of Krsna's wonderful qualities or attributes are inconceivable.

Here are Krsna's 64 qualities or attributes -

(1) Beautiful features of the entire body

(2) Marked with all auspicious characteristics

(3) Extremely pleasing

(4) Effulgent

(5) Strong

(6) Ever youthful

(7) Wonderful linguist

(8) Truthful

(9) Talks pleasingly

(10) Fluent

(11) Highly learned

(12) Highly intelligent

(13) Genius

(14) Artistic

(15) Extremely clever

(16) Expert

(17) Grateful

(18) Firmly determined

(19) An expert judge of time and circumstances

(20) Sees and speaks on the authority of Vedas, or scriptures

(21) Pure

(22) Self-controlled

(23) Steadfast

(24) Forbearing

(25) Forgiving

(26) Grave

(27) Self-satisfied

(28) Possessing equilibrium

(29) Magnanimous

(30) Religious

(31) Heroic

(32) Compassionate

(33) Respectful

(34) Gentle

(35) Liberal

(36) Shy

(37) The protector of surrendered souls

(38) Happy

(39) The well-wisher of devotees

(40) Controlled by love

(41) all-auspicious

(42) Most powerful

(43) all-famous

(44) Popular

(45) Partial to devotees

(46) Very attractive to all women

(47) all-worship able

(48) all-opulent

(49) all-honourable

(50) The supreme controller.

Besides all of the above-mentioned fifty qualities, Lord Krsna possesses five more, which are sometimes partially manifested in Lord Brahma or Lord Siva. 

These transcendental qualities are as follows-

(51) Changeless

(52) all-cognizant

(53) Ever fresh

(54) sac-cid-ananda-vigraha as an eternal blissful spiritual bodily form.

(55) Possessing all mystic perfections.

Krsna also possesses five other qualities, which are manifest in the body of Narayana/Visnu, and they are listed as follows-

(56) He has inconceivable potency.

(57) Uncountable universes generate from His body.

(58) He is the original source of all incarnations.

(59) He is the giver of salvation to the enemies whom He kills.

(60) He is the attractor of liberated souls.

Besides these sixty transcendental qualities, as said above, Krsna has four more, which are not manifested even in the Visnu/Narayana0 p form of Godhead, what to speak of the demigods or living entities. 

They are as follows-

(61) He is the performer of wonderful varieties of pastimes (especially His childhood pastimes).

(62) He is surrounded by devotees endowed with wonderful love of Godhead.

(63) He can attract all living entities all over the universes by playing on His flute.

(64) He has a wonderful excellence of beauty which cannot be rivaled anywhere in the creation.

The Absolute Truth is anandamaya (desiring to increase His joy), hence from His original form He expands and becomes many. 

These emanations from the Supreme Person are of two categories: full expansions and partially manifested expansions. 

The Lord's various full and partial expansions and the Lord Himself simultaneously co-exist, only appearing to manifest under the influence of time. 

These expansions of Krsna are known as Visnu-tattva Forms of God, and they are also the Supreme Absolute Truth. 

While non-different from Lord Krsna, the Visnu-tattvas like

Balarama, 

Pradyumna, 

Ramachandra, 

Narsingadeva  

Visnu, 

Narayana, 

Maha-Visnu, 

Garbhodakashayi Visnu, 

Paramatma etc. 

All accept their own role as Godhead in the mood of Servitor to the "original" Supreme Being Lord Krsna, for example Visnu and Narayana Forms, all with different names, are found on all Vaikuntha Planets in the Spiritual sky and also build and manage the material creation as Maha Visnu and Garbhodakashayi Visnu. 

This relationship is the foundation of Vedic monotheism, which encompasses the inconceivable, absolute personal nature of the original Godhead.

Lord Krsna possesses two other expansive qualities known as Siva-tattva and jiva-tattva. 

Together with Visnu-tattva, these three qualities are representative of the Absolute Person's internal, external and marginal energies. 

The Lord has expanded Himself as Lord Siva and Lord Brahma, and we, the living entities (jiva-souls), are also expansions. 

Although like us, Lord Brahma is also jiva-tattva and has 78.125% of Krsna’s 100% qualities which are 50 of Krsna's 64 attributes.

Lord Siva is between Visnu-tattva and jiva-tattva with 84.375% of Krsna's 100% qualities and Visnu/Narayana has 93.75%.

Visnu-tattva, Visnu-"sakti"-tattva, Siva-tattva and jiva-tattva are all expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Krsna but in different categories. 

This is summarized as follows-

Lord Krsna.          64 qualities or 100%

Visnu-tattva.          60 qualities or ~93.75%

Visnu-"sakti"-tattva 60 qualities or ~ 93.75%

Siva-tattva.             55 qualities or ~85.938 %

Jiva-tattva.               50 qualities or ~78.125%

The correct understanding of the word "sakti" is that all of Krsna’s energies are under the broad category of "sakti-tattva"

Srila Prabhupada - "There are Viṣṇu-tattva, jīva-tattva and sakti-tattva. Viṣṇu-tattva is the Supreme Absolute Truth, jīva-tattva is part and parcel, and sakti-tattva is the energy of God." (Lecture on SB Canto 1.5.15, New Vrindaban, June 19, 1969)

All personalities or living entities are sakti-tattva or Krsna's energy.

However, the Visnu-"sakti"-tattvas' are called the internal potency of the Supreme Lord because they are all expansions of Krsna's Personality just playing another role in His own pastimes, none of them are jiva-tattva souls (marginal living entities).

Krsna divides Himself into two so He can experience the loving effective and exchanges of a women, that women is Srimati Radharani.

Srimati Radharani is NOT a jiva-tattva expansion who only has 78.125% of Krsna's qualities, no, Srimati Radharani IS a direct expansion of Krsna.

As said above, when Krsna wanted to experience the loving exchanges with a women, He divided Himself into two - Radha and Krsna.

The Visnu-"sakti"-tattvas are DIRECT expansions of Krsna too, just like the Visnu-tattva expansions are, while the jiva-tattvas (marginal living entities) are MINOR independent expansions of Krsna who have a separate personality from Krsna's Personality.

Krsna is called Param Purushottam, Purnavatar or Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Learned scholars in transcendental subjects have carefully analyzed the summum bonum Krsna to have sixty-four principal attributes. 

All the expansions or categories of the Lord possess only some percentages of His 64 attributes however, Sri Krsna is the possessor of the attributes cent percent. 

And His personal expansionsmay such as svayam-prakasa, tad-ekatma up to the categories of the avataras who are all visnu-tattva, possess up to 93.75% of these transcendental attributes. 

Lord Siva, who is neither avatara nor avesa nor in between them, possesses almost 85.938 % of the attributes. 

But the jiva-souls, or the individual living beings in different statuses of life, possess up to the limit of 78.125% of the attributes. 

In the conditioned state of material existence, the living being possesses these attributes in very minute quantity, varying in terms of the pious life of the living being. 

The most perfect of living beings is Brahma, the supreme administrator of one universe. 

He possesses 78.125% percent of the attributes in full. 

All other demigods have the same attributes in less quantity, whereas human beings possess the attributes in very minute quantity. 

The standard of perfection for a human being is to develop the attributes up to seventy-eight percent in full. 

The marginal living entities or jiva-tattvas can never possess attributes like Siva, Visnu or Lord Krsna. 

A living being can become godly by developing the 78.125% of transcendental attributes in fullness, but he can never become a God like Siva, Visnu or Krsna. 

Although he can become a Brahma in due course. 

The godly living beings who are all residents of the planets in the spiritual sky are eternal associates of God in different spiritual planets called Hari-dhama and Mahesa-dhama. 

The abode of Lord Krsna is above all Vaikuntha planets and is called Krsnaloka or Goloka Vrndavana, and the perfected living being, by developing 78.125% of the above attributes in fullness, can enter the planet of Krsnaloka after leaving the present material body.*.*.^

The Sanskrit word "Tattva" is used to denote certain categories of Krishna's energies explained here, "sakti-tattva" is also explained here.

Vaishnavism.

Within Puranic literatures and Vaiśhnava philosophy, tattva is used to denote certain categories of Krishna's energies such as-

There are many tattvas coming from Krishna the Supreme personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes.

Viśhnu-tattva

Any incarnation or expansion of Śrī Kṛṣṇa like all Vishnu/Narayana forms, Lord Ramachandra, Narsinga deva etc who have 93.75% of Krishna’s 100% qualities which is 60 of Krishna's 64 attributes.

Śakti-Tattva

The multifarious energies of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Sakti tattva is Krishna's internal energy or potency that IS Srimati Radharani. 

There is also other sakti-tattvas Yoga Maya and the material prakṛti.

Jiva-tattva 

Jiva-tattva, the individual souls that have 78.125% of Krishna's 100% qualities which are 50 of Krishna's 64 attributes.

Śiva-tattva

Śrī Śiva is not jiva-tattva or Vishnu-tattva, he is in the middle with 84.375% of Krishna’s 100% qualities which are 55 of Krishna's 64 attributes.

Mahat-tattva

The total material energy (prakṛti).

In Gaudiya Vaishnavism there is also the Pancha Tattva

These five Tattvas begin with 

1 - Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu who is the combination of Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

2 - Lord Nityananda who is Balarama, Krsna's older brother.

3 - Sri Advaita is the combined "potency of Maha Vishnu and Lord Shiva.

4 - Gadadhara is Radharani and the internal potency.

5 - Srivas who is Narada Muni a jiva-tattva soul (not Vishnu-tattva) and great devotee of Krsna.

The Pancha-tattva souls are made up of Krishna's direct Vishnu-tattva and Vishnu-sakti-tattva expansions except for Srivas who is jiva tattva.

The following is taṭastha-sakti is correctly understood.

Srila Prabhupada - "So this material world is the taṭastha (conditioned) characteristics, and the spiritual world is the "personal" characteristics. So our effort is to get out of this taṭastha (conditioned) characteristics and to enter the permanent characteristics (Vaikuntha). That is called spiritual elevation". (Lecture on CC Madhya-lila 20.354-358 — New York, December 28, 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - "Because the individual soul is apt to fall down sometimes under the clutches of māyā, it is called taṭastha-śakti. Just like in the seaside the shore, the beach, sometimes you see it is covered by water and sometimes it is land; similarly, when we are covered by māyā, that is our jīva-bhūta stage, and when there is no more covering, that is brahma-bhūta stage. When we are Kṛṣṇa conscious, then we are brahma-bhūta (SB 4.30.20), and when we are not Kṛṣṇa conscious, we are materially conscious, that is māyā". (Lecture on BG 7.4-5 -- Bombay, March 30, 1971)

It is said by some Sangas (religious groups) that the jiva souls are generated from tatastha-sakti, but they should explain that this terminology simple means they are in the category known as Krishna's "marginal potency or energy" who ARE individual jiva souls part and parcel of a universal collective or category of living entities that have 78.125% of Krishna's 100% qualities.

This means each individual jiva soul in that category of the marginal potency or living entities can possess 50 of Krishna's 64 attributes.   

Srila Prabhupada - "The spiritual world is expansion of Kṛṣṇa's internal energy, and this material world is Kṛṣṇa's expansion of external energy, and we living entities, we are expansion of marginal energy.

So three energies. Krishna has got multi-energies. All the multi-energies grouped in three headings: 

1 - antaraṅga-śakti,    

2 - bahiraṅga-śakti,  

3 - taṭastha-śakti.

1 - Antaraṅga-śakti means internal energy, 

2 - bahiraṅga śakti means external energy, 

3 - taṭastha-śakti means these marginal living entities (jiva souls). 

We are śakti too; we are energy (jiva-tattva) We are not the energetic (Vishnu-tattva)

The Māyāvādī philosopher says that because the energies are not outside Brahman, therefore they're all the same. This is monism. 

Our Vaiṣṇava philosophy is that energy (is) simultaneously one and different. 

When you perceive heat, we understand, "Oh, there is fire." But that does not mean that because I am getting some heat, I am on the fire. 

Try to understand this philosophy. 

Therefore here it is said vijānataḥ - "one who knows."

So their ekatvam, Māyāvāda philosophy's ekatvam, oneness, and our ekatvam of oneness—a little different. 

They say that the energy's false; the Brahman is real. Brahmā satyaṁ jagan mithyā. 

We say that because Brahman is truth, therefore His energy's also truth. That is the difference between Vaiṣṇava philosophy and Māyāvāda philosophy. 

We cannot say that energy is false. Energy is temporary; this external energy is temporary, not false. 

Although... Suppose we have got some trouble. There are so many kinds of troubles pertaining to the body, mind, external affairs. But that trouble comes and goes. But when the trouble is there, it is true. We feel the consequence. We cannot say it is false. 

The Māyāvādī philosophers say that it is false. But when he's troubled, why he's so much disturbed? So that is not false. 

Therefore this very word is used: vijānataḥ, "one who knows." 

Perfect knowledge must be there, vijānataḥ. When one is actual knower of the things, tatra ko mohaḥ, then there is no illusion. 

Illusion is for him who does not know things. But one who knows, there is no illusion. 

Tatra ko mohaḥ kaḥ śoka. No lamentation. When you are perfectly in conviction that there is nothing except Kṛṣṇa, and Kṛṣṇa's energy, the same, then there is no moha—moha means illusion—and śoka (Lecture on Sri Isopanishad Los Angeles, May 10, 1970)

The marginal living entities, marginal potency or jiva souls are therefore ALWAYS found throughout the entire Spiritual Sky in four different realms

1 - From associating with Krishna in Goloka-Vrindavana as a friend and four other different ways.

2 - Serving Vishnu as the Supreme God in Vaikuntha.

3 - Being embodied (covered) in a temporary material bodily vessel in the material creation.

4 - And attempting to cease one's existence in the dormant inactive impersonal Brahmajyoti.

Entering the Impersonal Brahmajyoti or Brahman to Vaiṣṇavas is considered Spiritual suicide.

However, such merging is also only temporary even though the jiva soul can stay there for a very very long time.

They eventually full out of the impersonal Brahmajyoti because the nature of the jiva soul is to be active and have a life.

In fact, the jiva soul can stay there for so long that when they again awaken from their impersonal inactive slumber, they wrongly believe the impersonal Brahmajyoti is their origin. 

They forget they fell to that dormant condition in the first place a long, long, long time ago that can equal quadrillions of life times of Lord Brahma who lives for 311 trillion 40 billion human years 

The jiva souls are NOT generated from some imaginary place or plane in outer space. 

The marginal plane (also called tatastha-sakti) is NOT a place in the Cosmos, it is another name for the jiva souls.

The idea that the jiva souls originate from some place called the marginal plane or tatastha-sakti is nonsense because the marginal living entities are everywhere and have no point of origin as some sangas wrongly preach.

The jiva souls were NOT generated (created) from a "clear sheet of consciousness" either because they have ALWAYS existed everywhere (sarva-gatah). 

The jiva souls may fall to an "inactive" or dormant state in the impersonal Brahmajyoti but they certainly did not originate from there.

Even entering the impersonal Brahmajyoti or Brahman is also only temporary relief for the jiva souls who entered there to escape the suffering and pain of being embodied in the material world. 

However, they can stay in the impersonal Brahmajyoti for a very, very long time, so long a time that some foolishly believe it is where they originated from after emerging from there.

It should be made clear the dormant inactive aspect of the  Brahmajyoti is NOT the origin of the jiva-soul.

The fact is, as emphasised, the individual jiva souls are NOT "literally generated from or originate" from anywhere including the Brahmajyoti.

This is because they have ALWAYS existed being part and parcel of the "marginal plane" of Krishna's energies.

The jiva souls are everywhere (as individual units) throughout the Spiritual Sky, material creation and the dorment Brahmajyoti as unlimited individual units (jiva souls) who are in their full potential as follows-

sat,

chit, 

ananda, 

vigraha.

This means in English the individual jiva souls are-

eternity,

Knowledge,

bliss,

Bodily form.

The original full appearance of the jiva soul is an "eternal bodily form" a PERSON similar to Krishna's form.

This ORIGINAL eternal form of the jiva soul is a "bodily form" like Krishnas Prabhupada has said - two arms, two legs etc like Krishna has in Vṛndāvana and NOT His four armed form in the Vaikuntha Planets 

All of Krishna's marginal so called 'sparks' and so called 'atoms (souls) in the effulgence other sangas rant on about claiming in their original position are formless is nonsense.

The fact is some jiva souls are in that dormant condition because they are fallen to that condition and have forgotten their original two armed spiritual bodily form in Goloka-Vrindavana the Spiritual World.

Revatīnandana - "Srila Prabhupāda you very clearly explained to me once in a letter that if the spirit soul then goes into the brahmajyoti, he is considered still fallen. Still fallen. Does that means the whole brahmajyoti is composed of fallen souls? You see my question? If I go there, I'm a jīva soul, and I go to the brahmajyoti I'm still fallen".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Revatīnandana - "That means all jīva souls there are also fallen souls?".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".(Room Conversation August 17, 1971, London)

Srila Prabhupada - ''Existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness. Those who are in the brahman effulgence are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition. (Letter to: Revatinandana, Los Angeles 13 June, 1970) 

Srila Prabhupada - ''When fall takes place, it means falling down from the non-fallen condition. The non-fallen condition is Krsna consciousness'' (Letter to: Revatinandana, Los Angeles 13 June, 1970)

In the jiva souls original state, they have the same bodily features like Krishna - sat-cit-ananda-vigraha (eternal bodily form) and are NOT a impersonal spark in Krishna's effulgence. 

The full potential and original feature of all marginal living entities is a two arm human looking form.

Yasomatinandana – “Is the original body of the spirit soul a human form?”

Srila Prabhupada – “Yes, human form. God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form. Here you see Krishna, two hands, two legs”.

Hari-sauri – “How do we understand, then, that there are peacocks and flowers and trees in the spiritual world? Are these not eternal forms?”

Srila Prabhupada – “[describing material form first]: Yes. They are more covered. Just like if you cover your body with blanket, the hands and legs are invisible. But you are not the blanket. So the trees and plants, they are more covered. They are not in full manifestation. The human form is the full manifestation of the soul”.

Hari-sauri - “They are covered in the spiritual world?”

Srila Prabhupada - “Not in the spiritual world. There that is voluntary. Some devotee wants to serve Krishna as flower; they become flower there. If I want that "As a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krishna," he becomes flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krishna as cow, he serves Krishna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable, yet a fact". (Srimad Bhagavatam 6.1.1-4 - Melbourne, May 20, 1975)

Ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham [Bg. 4.11].

That is Krishna’s all-powerfulness, spiritual life."

The English word "generated" can be misleading if not properly understood because that word can mean a beginning point, or an origin point however, the jiva souls have no origin or beginning point because they have always existed and were never created.

Srila Prabhupada – "There is no new soul. New and old are due to this material body, but the soul is NEVER born and NEVER dies, so if there is no birth, how can there be new souls?''. (Letter to Jagadisa 7/9/1970)

The use of this word "generated" really means they are part and parcel of a category called the ''marginal energy or potency'', a collection of an unlimited number of individual jiva souls who are eternal meaning they have always existed.

As said above, the jiva souls were NEVER created or generated from any origin (starting point) because there is NO origin of the jiva souls, they have ALWAYS existed without beginning or end.

So the proper understanding is the marginal living entities, energy or potency (jiva souls), also known as tatastha sakti, are made up of unlimited jiva souls who are spread throughout the entire Spiritual Sky (all that there is)

The Sanskrit  word "sarva-gatah" means life (individual jiva souls) are EVERYWHERE.

"Tatastha sakti" is NOT a dormant place of inactive consciousness in the Cosmos where souls originate from, such an idea is nonsense. 

The "marginal plane, potency  or Tatastha-sakti" is NOT a place where jiva souls are "literally" generated from or originate from because the marginal living entities (jiva souls) have no origin as clearly explained above, they have always existed.

The "marginal plane" IS a collective of an unlimited number of perpetual individual "jiva souls" who are all around us throughout the Spiritual Sky (sarva-gatah) and have ALWAYS existed without beginning or end as Bhagavad Gita teaches.

Therefore no jiva souls were ever generated (created) from an impersonal point of origin in the Cosmos as some other sangas (other religious groups) wrongly believe.

These Sangas claim the marginal living entities (jiva-souls) originate (are generated) from an "impersonal clear sheet of consciousness" they foolshly call the marginal plane.

However, their understanding is wrong because the "marginal plane" ARE the living entities existing EVERYWHERE in the Spiritual Sky. They have no point of origin.

Therefore these other sanga's understanding of Krishna's "marginal potency of living entities or jiva souls" is nonsense because they haven't understood that the individual jiva souls ARE the marginal potency or plane and are EVERYWHERE throughout the Spiritual Sky and have no origin! 

The jiva-souls have ALWAYS been the marginal plane or potency who exist EVERYWHERE throughout the Spiritual Sky.

So lets make it clear, the marginal plane is NOT a place in outer space, it is ALL of the jiva souls who are beginningless and endless that are EVERYWHERE in the Spiritual Sky as Bhagavad Gita teaches. 

Also on the Spiritual platform there is no creation of more individual jiva-souls (marginal living entities) because they were NEVER created, they have ALWAYS existed just like Krishna has. 

In other words, just like the Sun disc always maintains the Sun-rays and cannot exist apart, the Sun-rays CANNOT exist without the Sun-disc, similarly Krishna has no meaning without His devotees and His devotees have no meaning without Krishna like the Sun-rays has no meaning without the Sun-disc.

The jiva souls were NEVER created explained here-

Chapter 2 Text 20 Bhagavad Gita As It Is-

"For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain". (BG Chapter 2 Text 20)

The jiva-souls are unique individual PERSONS who are independent parts and parcel of Krishna, yet dependent on Krishna like the sunrays are dependent on the Sun.

So it is clear the jiva souls are eternal without beginning or end and were NEVER generated (created) from some origin point like the impersonal Brahmajyoti other sangas wrongly preach.

Each of Krishna’s jiva-tattva devotees interacts with Him by their "free will" and CHOOSES one of five primary relationships as mentioned above. 

All jiva souls are EQUALLY intimate with Krishna because in the Spiritual World all relationships with Krishna are equally blissful, just like one may like a carnation flower while others choose to like a rose flower.

Srila Prabhupada - “The jiva-soul's position in the spiritual world is voluntary. Some devotee wants to serve Krishna as flower; they become flower there. If I want that "As a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krishna," he becomes flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. Loving voluntary relationships with Krishna that one can choose number from one to five.

These five are -

1 - Neutrality, 

2 - Servitude, 

3 - Friendship, 

4 - Parental affection, 

5 - And conjugal love.

Krsna is always complete as Himself and therefore NEVER alone.

This is because Krsna divides Himself into two - Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

And when Radha and Krsna unite in one body, that is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Krsna is always enjoying in Vrindavana with His consort Srimati Radharani, who Krsna created by dividing Himself into two, just so He could experience loving intimate exchanges with a women.

Krsna is never alone because He is "fully complete" as Himself due to always enjoying with His internal potency led by the personification of the internal energy, Srimati Radharani.

Krsna also expands Himself as His Visnu-tattva expansions, who are the unlimited Visnu/Narayana Forms of God who have their own perpetual Vaikuntha Planet that take up 3/4 of the Spiritual Sky.

Krsna also expands as Karanarnavasayi Visnu (Maha-Visnu), Garbhodakashayi Visnu and Ksirodakasayi Visnu (Paramatma) to maintain the material creation.

For material creation, Lord Krsna's plenary expansion assumes three Visnus as said above.

The first is Karanarnavasayi Visnu (Mahā Viṣṇu) who creates the total material energy known as the mahat-tattva.

The second is Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu who enters deep into all the massive Brahmanda universes and creates an inner secondary smaller material universe.

The third is Kṣīrodakaśāyī Visnu, who is the all-pervading super-soul accompanying each marginal living entity (jiva-soul) within each inner material universe existing deep inside each Brahmanda universal covering. Kṣīrodakaśāyī Visnu is in the heart of every marginal living entity (jiva-soul) and is known as Paramātmā.

He is present even within the atoms. The goal of life is to know Kṛṣṇa, who is situated within the heart of every living being as Paramātmā, the four-handed Viṣṇu form.

In Srimad Bhagavatam, this is explained as-

Kāraṇārṇavaśāyī Viṣṇu (Maha Visnu) is the first incarnation of the Supreme Lord, and He is the master of eternal time, space, cause and effects, mind, the elements, the material ego, the modes of nature, the senses, the universal form of the Lord.

Garbhodhakaśāyī Viṣṇu is an expansion of Mahā Viṣṇu who expands from Nārāyaṇa/Visnu in Vaikuṇṭha.

Garbhodhakaśāyī Visnu is the form of Pradyumna within the material universe. He is the father of Brahmā who appeared from His navel.

Garbhodakashayi Visnu is also called Hiraņyagarbha.

Each Form has a different role in the maintenance of the temporary material universes, known as Brahmanda universes, that take up 1/4 of the Spiritual Sky.

There are also other expansions of Krsna who are NOT Visnu-tattva, like Siva-tattva (Lord Siva), and jiva-tattva, (jiva-souls who are the independent marginal living entities) 

The "marginal living entities" have their own free will and independence in Goloka Vrindavana that allows them to voluntarily choose for themselves how to serve Krsna, or even reject Him if they choose. 

Marginal potency means free will

There are many varieties of living entities in the Spiritual Sky and manifest in different categories of Krsna's energies but can NEVER be separated from Krsna.

They are Viṣṇu-tattva, Sakti-Visnu-tattva, Siva-tattva and the marginal living entities (jiva-tattva souls) 

Just like the Sun-disc can NEVER be separated from the sun-rays similarly, Krsna is NEVER without the various grades of living entities mentioned above.

Krsna is NEVER alone due to EVERYTHING being completely situated within Him.

Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes. The 'cause of ALL causes' is significant here - meaning EVERYTHING IS in Krsna.

Kṛṣṇa is simultaneously an independent Person from all the variety of different expansions. 

This is Krsna's full potential.

He is the Supreme controller, fully satisfied in Himself because everything is in Him and everything is part and parcel of Krsna.

Therefore Krsna can NEVER be alone.

This should be properly understood so one can know why Krsna can NEVER be alone.  

Krsna IS the Supreme Lord as His own individual bodily (vigraha) Form, yet simultaneously ALL living entities depend on Krsna a

for their existence just like the Sun-rays depend on the presence of Sun to exist.

Srila Prabhupada - "Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are "one and the same", but They have assumed two bodies. Thus They enjoy each other, tasting the mellows of love.

The two transcendentalists Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are a puzzle to materialists. 

The description of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa from the diary of Śrīla Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī is a condensed explanation, but one needs great spiritual insight to understand the mystery of these two personalities.

One is enjoying in two.

Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the potent factor, and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the internal potency.

According to Vedānta philosophy, there is no difference between the potent and the potency; they are identical. We cannot differentiate between one and the other, any more than we can separate fire from heat.

Everything in the Absolute is inconceivable in relative existence. Therefore in relative cognizance it is very difficult to assimilate this truth of the oneness between the potent and the potency.

The philosophy of inconceivable oneness and difference propounded by Lord Caitanya is the only source of understanding for such intricacies of transcendence.

In fact, Rādhārāṇī is the internal potency of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and She eternally intensifies the pleasure of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. 

Impersonalists cannot understand this without the help of a mahā-bhāgavata devotee.

The very name “Rādhā” suggests that Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is eternally the topmost mistress of the comforts of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. As such, She is the medium transmitting the living entities’ service to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Devotees in Vṛndāvana therefore seek the mercy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī in order to be recognized as loving servitors of Śrī Kṛṣṇa". (Caitanya Caritamrita Adi 4.56, Translation and Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "When Krsna wants to be attracted by a woman, He has to create such a woman from His own energy. That woman is Rādhārāṇī". (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 Chapter 31 text 38 Purport)

Krsna divided Himself into "two" so He could experience loving exchanges. 

For even Krsna, love can NEVER exist when there is just "one", there MUST be "two" and they are Srimati Radharani and Krsna.

Therefore when Krsna wanted to experience loving emotions and affection with a women He divided Himself into "two", Radha and Krsna just so He could experience loving exchanges.

Madhudviṣa Swami - "Śrīla Prabhupāda, you spoke of inferior energy and superior energy. Those are two general categories. Are there other categories of energies besides that, and specifically how could we understand Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī Is She...?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "She is spiritual energy".

Madhudviṣa Swami - "But is She jīva-bhūta or?"

Srila Prabhupada - "No, no, no. She is Kṛṣṇa. If everything is Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārāṇī is not Kṛṣṇa, what is that? Kṛṣṇa. He (She) is Kṛṣṇa. She is the Kṛṣṇa's pleasure potency".

Madhudviṣa Swami - "She is not jīva?"

Srila Prabhupada - "No, no, no. She is Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa divided Himself into His energy and Himself. That energy, original spiritual energy, is Rādhārāṇī. 

That is stated by Jīva Gosvāmī. Rādhā kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtir hlādinī śaktir asmāt. When Kṛṣṇa wants pleasure, He cannot accept the inferior energy. AThe same superior energy, Kṛṣṇa, is divided into two. 

That is Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. 

And again, when they unite, that is Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Divided, they are Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, and united, Caitanya Mahāprabhu. 

Śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya rādhā-kṛṣṇa nahe anya. Anya means another. 

So Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya is combination of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. And when they are divided into two, that is Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. 

This is the purport. Rādhā kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtir hlādinī śaktir asmād ekātmānāv api bhuvi purā deha-bhedaṁ gatau tau, śrī-caitanyākhyaṁ prakaṭam adhunā tad-dvayaṁ caikyam āptam [Cc. Ādi 1.5]. 

These are the conclusion-

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is the combination of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, where Krsna experiences Himself as Rādhārāṇī to understand Radharani. This is Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Rādhārāṇī is the chief gopī and all Her young girl friends, they are also gopīs. (Lecture on SB 2.1.1-5 -- Melbourne, June 26, 1974)

"Rādhikā is the transformation of Kṛṣṇa’s love. She is His internal energy called hlādinī". (Caitanya Caritamrita Adi 4.59, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "Radharani's mind, senses and body are steeped in love for Kṛṣṇa. She is Kṛṣṇa’s own energy, and She helps Him in His pastimes.

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is as fully spiritual as Kṛṣṇa. No one should consider Her to be material. 

She is definitely not like the conditioned souls, who have material bodies, gross and subtle, covered by material senses.

She is all-spiritual, and both Her body and Her mind are of the same spiritual embodiment. 

Because Her body is spiritual, Her senses are also spiritual. Thus Her body, mind and senses fully shine in love of Kṛṣṇa.

She is the personified hlādinī-śakti (the pleasure-giving energy of the Lord’s internal potency), and therefore She is the only source of enjoyment for Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Kṛṣṇa cannot enjoy anything that is internally different from Him. Therefore Rādhā and Śrī Kṛṣṇa are identical. 

The sandhinī portion of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency has manifested the all-attractive form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and the same internal potency, in the hlādinī feature, has presented Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, who is the attraction for the all-attractive. 

No one can match Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī in the transcendental pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 4.71, Translation and Purport)

"Just as the fountainhead, Lord Kṛṣṇa, is the cause of all incarnations, so Śrī Rādhā is the cause of all these consorts". (Caitanya Caritamrita Adi 4.76, Translation)

"Rādhā is the one who gives pleasure to Govinda, and She is also the enchantress of Govinda. She is the be-all and end-all of Govinda, and the crest jewel of all His consorts".(Caitanya Caritamrita Adi 4.82, Translation)

"The transcendental goddess Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the direct counterpart of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. She is the central figure for all the goddesses of fortune. She possesses all the attractiveness to attract the all-attractive Personality of Godhead. She is the primeval internal potency of the Lord". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 4.83, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "When Krsna wants to be attracted by a woman, He has to create such a woman from His own energy. That woman is Rādhārāṇī.

It is explained by the Gosvāmīs that Rādhārāṇī is the manifestation of the pleasure potency of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

When the Supreme Lord wants to derive transcendental pleasure, He has to create a woman from His internal potency and that women is Srimati Radharani" (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 Chapter 31 text 38, Purport)

Sri Krsna - "Among the gopīs, You, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, are the chief. Therefore You are the very life of My life and center of all Vṛndāvana’s activities". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 13.150, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "From Kṛṣṇa’s own statement above, it appears that Rādhārāṇī is the Queen of Vṛndāvana and that Kṛṣṇa is simply Her decoration. Kṛṣṇa is known as Madana-mohana, the enchanter of Cupid, but Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the enchanter of Kṛṣṇa.

Consequently Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is called Madana-mohana-mohinī, the enchanter of the enchanter of Cupid". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 13.150, Translation and Purport)

"Simultaneously one and difference" philosophy is the teachings of Lord Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

"Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the reservoir of all pleasure, and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the personification of ecstatic love of Godhead. These two forms had combined as one in Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. This being the case, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu revealed His real form to Rāmānanda Rāya". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.282, Translation)

Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu -“I have now converted My body and mind into the ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; thus I am tasting My own personal sweetness in that form.” (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.288, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada -"Gaurasundara above informed Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya, 'My dear Rāmānanda Rāya, you were actually seeing a separate person with a fair-complexioned body. Actually I am not fair. Being Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the son of Nanda Mahārāja, I am blackish, but when I come in touch with Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī I become fair-complexioned externally. 

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī does not touch the body of anyone but Kṛṣṇa. I taste My own transcendental features by accepting the complexion of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. Without Rādhārāṇī, one cannot taste the transcendental pleasure of Kṛṣṇa’s conjugal love.'

In this regard, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura comments on the prākṛta-sahajiyā-sampradāya, which considers Kṛṣṇa and Lord Caitanya to possess different bodies. They misinterpret the words gaura aṅga nahe mora in text 287. 

From that verse and the present verse we can understand that Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu is nondifferent from Kṛṣṇa, both are the same Supreme Personality of Godhead. 

In the form of Kṛṣṇa, the Lord enjoys spiritual bliss and remains the shelter of all devotees, viṣaya-vigraha.

And in His Gaurāṅga feature Kṛṣṇa tastes separation from Kṛṣṇa in the ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī.

This ecstatic form is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya. Śrī Kṛṣṇa is always the transcendental reservoir of all pleasure, and He is technically called dhīra-lalita.

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the embodiment of spiritual energy, personified as ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa; therefore only Kṛṣṇa can touch Her.

The dhīra-lalita aspect is not seen in any other form of the Lord, including Viṣṇu and Nārāyaṇa.

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is therefore known as Govinda-nandinī and Govinda-mohinī, for She is the only source of transcendental pleasure for Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the only person who can enchant His mind". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.288, Translation and Purport)

Sri Krsna - “My dearest Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, please hear Me. I am speaking the truth. I cry day and night simply upon remembering all you inhabitants of Vṛndāvana. No one knows how unhappy this makes Me.” (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 13.149, Translation) 

Srila Prabhupada - "It is said: vṛndāvanaṁ parityajya padam ekaṁ na gacchati.

In one sense, Kṛṣṇa, the original Personality of Godhead (īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ sac cid ānanda vigrahaḥ [Bs. 5.1]), does not even take one step away from Vṛndāvana. However, in order to take care of various duties, Kṛṣṇa had to leave Vṛndāvana.

He had to go to Mathurā to kill Kaṁsa, and then He was taken by His father to Dvārakā, where He was busy with state affairs and disturbances created by demons. 

Kṛṣṇa was away from Vṛndāvana, and He was not at all happy, as He plainly disclosed to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. 

She is the dearmost life and soul of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and He expressed His mind to Her as follows". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 13.149, Translation and Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "Śrī Kṛṣṇa continued: “All the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana-dhāma—My mother, father, cowherd boyfriends and everything else—are like My life and soul.

And among all the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana, the gopīs are My very life and soul. And among the gopīs, You, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, are the chief. Therefore You are the very life of My life. 

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the center of all Vṛndāvana’s activities. In Vṛndāvana, Kṛṣṇa is the instrument of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; therefore all the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana still chant “Jaya Rādhe!”

From Kṛṣṇa’s own statement given herein, it appears that Rādhārāṇī is the Queen of Vṛndāvana and that Kṛṣṇa is simply Her decoration. Kṛṣṇa is known as Madana mohana, the enchanter of Cupid, but Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the enchanter of Kṛṣṇa.

Consequently Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is called Madana-mohana-mohinī, the enchanter of the enchanter of Cupid". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 13.150, Translation and Purport)

"Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the chief. She is a jewel mine of ecstatic love and the source of all purified transcendental conjugal mellows". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 14.160, Translation)

"Of all the gopīs, Rādhārāṇī is the dearmost. Similarly, the lake known as Rādhā-kuṇḍa is very dear to the Lord because it is very dear to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 18.7, Translation)

"Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who appeared as the son of Nanda Mahārāja, is the supreme hero in all dealings. 

Similarly, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost heroine in all dealings". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 23.66, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "Viṣaya and āśraya are two very significant words relating to the reciprocation between Kṛṣṇa and His devotee.

The devotee is called the āśraya, and his beloved, Kṛṣṇa, is the viṣaya.

Different ingredients are involved in the exchange of love between the āśraya and viṣaya, which are known as vibhāva, anubhāva, sāttvika and vyabhicārī.

Vibhāva is divided into the two categories ālambana and uddīpana. Ālambana may be further divided into āśraya and viṣaya.

In the loving affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, Rādhārāṇī is the āśraya feature and Kṛṣṇa the viṣaya.

The transcendental consciousness of the Lord tells Him -

“I am Kṛṣṇa, and I experience pleasure as the viṣaya. The pleasure enjoyed by Rādhārāṇī, the āśraya, is many times greater than the pleasure I feel.”

Therefore, to feel the pleasure of the āśraya category, Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 4.135, Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "Among the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the foremost. She surpasses all in beauty, in good qualities, in good fortune and, above all, in love.

Among all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the most exalted. She is the most beautiful, the most qualified and, above all, the greatest lover of Kṛṣṇa". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 4.214, Translation and Purport)

"Rādhā is the beloved consort of Kṛṣṇa, and She is the wealth of His life. Without Her, the gopīs cannot give Him pleasure". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 4.218, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "Distinguishing between pure devotees and internal or confidential devotees, Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, in his book Upadeśāmṛta, traces the following gradual process of development.

Out of many thousands of karmīs, one is better when he is situated in perfect Vedic knowledge.

Out of many such learned scholars and philosophers, one who is actually liberated from material bondage is better, and out of many such persons who are actually liberated, one who is a devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is considered to be the best.

Among the many such transcendental lovers of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the gopīs are the best, and among the gopīs Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the best.

Śrīmatī Rādhikā is very dear to Lord Kṛṣṇa, and similarly Her ponds, namely, Śyāma-kuṇḍa and Rādhā-kuṇḍa, are also very dear to the Supreme Personality of Godhead". (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 7.18-19, Purport)

"Kṛṣṇa’s desire in the rāsa-līlā circle is perfectly complete, but Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the binding link in that desire".(Caitanya Caritamrita Madhya-lila 8.113, Translation)

“The body of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is a veritable transformation of love of Godhead; She is the dearmost friend of Kṛṣṇa, and this is known throughout the world". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.162, Translation)

"That supreme ecstasy of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the essence of spiritual life. Her only business is to fulfill all the desires of Kṛṣṇa". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.164, Translation)

"Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost spiritual gem, and the other gopīs—Lalitā, Viśākhā and so on-are expansions of Her spiritual body". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.165, Translation)

Srila Prabhupada - "In his Amṛta pravāha bhāṣya, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura states -

“Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the creeper of love of Godhead, and the gopīs are exactly like twigs, flowers and leaves.

When water is sprinkled on the creeper, the twigs, flowers and leaves indirectly receive all the benefits of the creeper itself.

But water sprinkled directly on the twigs, leaves and flowers is not as effective as water sprinkled on the creeper’s root.

The gopīs are not as pleased when they directly mix with Kṛṣṇa as when they serve to unite Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī with Kṛṣṇa. 

Their transcendental pleasure lies in uniting Them.” Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.210, Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "In the Ādi Purāṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself says-

na tathā me priyatamo brahmā rudraś ca pārthiva na ca lakṣmīr na cātmā ca yathā gopī-jano mama

“Lord Brahmā, Lord Śiva, the goddess of fortune and even My own self are not as dear to Me as the gopīs.”

Of all the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the topmost. Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī are the most exalted servitors of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Those who adhere to their service are known as rūpānuga devotees". (Caitanya Caritamrta Madhya 8.246, Purport)*^*
