In the broader sense, everyone comes from Krsnaloka (Goloka-Vrindavana).

In the broader sense, everyone comes from Krsnaloka (Goloka-Vrindavana) the Kingdom of God.

There is no origin or end to the individual jiva-soul's existence, they are eternally parts and parcel of Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, and are just as old as Krsna who is ageless.

Srila Prabhupada - "In the broader sense, everyone comes from Krsnaloka (Goloka-Vrindavana). When one forgets Krsna, they are conditioned in the material world as nitya-baddha, when one always remembers Krsna he is liberated in the spiritual world as nitya-siddha." (Letter to Mukunda, June 10, 1969)

Srila Prabhupada - "Your question about one's relationship with Lord Krsna on Krsnaloka, does he ever fall down from the spiritual world? The individual jiva-souls are endowed with minute independence as part of their nature and this minute independence may be utilized rightly or wrongly at anytime, so there is always a chance of falling down by misuse of one’s independence." (Letter to Jagadisa dasa, 25th April 1970)

The marginal living entities (individual jiva-souls) can choose to express themselves in a seperate way from Krsna and His Visnu-tattva direct expansions. This means they have their own unique free will separate from Krsna and His direct expansions (His Visnu/Narayana expansions)

All Visnu-tattva (Visnu/Narayana personalities) are Krsna just playing unlimited roles in other ways (pastimes).

This means that Krsna is also Balarāma (His direct expansion) and Radharani is also Krsna's direct expansion. They are both Krsna, but presented in a different moods.

However, this is not surprising because the fact is, we are all Krsna's expansions but in different categories-

1- Krsna

2- Visnu tattva (Visnu/Narayana)

3 - Internal energy which is a collective of individual eternal personalities as spiritual forms headed by Srimati Radharani, known as Visnu-sakti-tattva.

4 - Siva (Siva-tattva)

5 - Individual jiva-souls (jiva-tattva) who eternally experience independent thinking and actions from Krsna's absolute control due to being given an independent unique personality, spiritual bodily form and free will.

So everything is Kṛṣṇa's expansions because He is the proprietor of all that their is.

Lord Siva is neither Krsna, Visnu-tattva or jiva-tattva (individual jiva-souls) he is in a league of his own difficult to understand but ultimately he is also Krsna like all other living entities.

Nanda and mother Yasoda are the eternal father and mother of Krsna. This means that whenever Krsna descends, Nanda and Yasoda, as well as Vasudeva and Devaki, also descend as the Lord's father and mother. In actual fact, their personalities are direct expansions of Krsna's personal body explained in Srimad Bhagavatam, Canto 10 Ch 8 text 48.

The "marginal potency or energy" is not a place, rather it described an unlimited collective of "individual jiva-souls as bodily spiritual form" who were never created, nor will they ever cease to be. This means they have no origin, nor will they ever cease to be as Bhagavad Gita As It Is explains as said above.

Many have misunderstood these facts about what "marginal" really means. It is not some place in outer space where the individual jiva-souls are generated or originate from, no, that is incorrect because the individual jiva-souls have no origin due to always existing just like Krsna has.

As explained above, being “generated” from the marginal plane does not mean the individual jiva-souls where created, or originate from the impersonal Brahmajyoti, tatastha-sakti or the Body of Maha-Visnu as many scholars and big Gurus and devotees wrongly claim.

As said above, found in chapter 2 of Bhagavad Gita As It Is, the individual jiva-souls are eternal without out any beginning, or end. Like Krsna, the individual jiva-souls have always existed meaning they were never created or cease to exist.

As clearly explained above, the individual jiva-souls, being marginal, means they are in-between the influence of spirit and matter, and can choose either side at anytime.

This means they can choose "one side (the spiritual world) or the other side (the material world)" because the individual jiva-souls eternally have free will.

They can choose the spiritual world, which is the individual jiva-soul's nature home and position as their full potential, or the material world, their unnatural material conditioned state in the temporary material world.

So, the real meaning of marginal means the individual jiva-souls can choose to be with the spiritual energy known as the spiritual world of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana, or with the material energy known as the temporary material world, based on their free will.

The individual jiva-souls, who naturally belong in the spiritual energy (Goloka-Vrindavana and the Vaikuntha planets) as individual spiritual persons with Krsna and Viṣṇu, are eternally called the marginal living entities because they are influenced by either the spiritual energy, or the material energy explained as follows by Srila Prabhupada.

Srila Prabhupada – "The individual jiva-souls are Krsna’s marginal energy. Marginal energy means the individual jiva-souls may be under the control of the spiritual energy, or they may be under the control of material energy. But when the individual jiva-souls are under the control of the material energy, that is their precarious unnatural condition struggle for existence. And when the individual jiva-soul is under spiritual energy (anti-matter), that is their original natural position and life of freedom." (Los Angeles, Nov 23, 1968)

Srila Prabhupada - "Regarding your question about our relationship with Srimati Radharani, She is the internal energy always, we (the individual jiva-souls) are marginal energy which means sometimes under the internal energy (spiritual), and sometimes under the external energy (material). When we are under the internal energy, that is our normal life, and when we are under the external energy, that is our abnormal life. Therefore, we are called marginal energy; we can be either this way or that way. But being qualitatively one with the purusa, our tendency is to remain in the internal energy. Being in the external energy is our artificial attempt." (Letter to Lilavati Allston, Mass, New England, USA 25 April, 1969)

Srila Prabhupada - "We (the individual jiva-souls) are marginal energy, marginal means sometimes internal (in the spiritual world), sometimes external (in the temporary material world). When we are under the internal energy (anti-matter), that is our normal natural life, and when we are under the external energy (matter), that is our abnormal life. Therefore, we are called marginal energy (individual jiva-soul); we can be either this way or that way. But being qualitatively one with the purusa, our tendency is to remain in the internal energy (spiritual world). Being in the external energy (material energy) is our artificial attempt." (Letter to Lilavati, Allston, Mass, New England, USA,  25 April, 1969)

Srila Prabhupada - "The material energy known as Maya, is also one of the multi-potencies of the Lord, as much as we (the individual jiva-souls) are also marginal potency of the Lord. The living entities (individual jiva-souls) are described as superior energy than matter, when the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy (material energy), it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency (individual jiva-souls) are in contact with the spiritual potency, Hara, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity (individual jiva-soul)." (The Happening Album, New York City, Dec 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - "You are also energy; you are marginal energy (individual jiva-soul). Marginal energy means you can be under the control of the spiritual energy, or you may be under the control of material energy, this is the marginal position. But when you are under the control of the material energy (decaying matter), that is your precarious condition (dangerous fallen condition), struggle for existence. And when you are under spiritual energy, that is your life of freedom." (Intro BG, As It Is, Los Angeles, Nov 23, 1968)

Srila Prabhupada – "The individual jiva-souls are known as Krsna's marginal energy. Marginal energy means we can live either in this external energy or in the internal energy, in between. So at the present moment we are living in the external energy. But this external energy is also Kṛṣṇa's energies, God's energy. It is not different from Him. But the external energy means we are captivated by the external energy. But the external energy (matter) is not permanent and always in a state of decay. The internal energy (anti-matter) of Krsna is permanent, eternally youthful, never decays and is unchanging. This means the spiritual world is permanent and so are the individual jiva-souls as Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 2 text 20 (1983 edition) reveals." (Adapted from Lecture BG, Ch 9 text 4 Melb, Australia April 23, 1976)

The individual jiva-souls moves through the dreams of Maha-Visnu according to their desires and Karma. The material universe is compared to a roadway one travels on. When this roadway is viewed from above, one can see the roadway, from its beginning point, its middle and its end.

Similarly, the individual jiva-souls are on a roadway where past, present and future also exist together simultaneously. This is the material universe that belongs to Maha-Visnu.

All life (individual units of living anti-matter headed by Kṛṣṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes) originates from the spiritual world known as the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana.

This is the individual jiva-souls original home, they never originated from the temporary material world or the inactive impersonal brahmajyoti, or from the Body of Maha-Visnu.

After entering the material creation (decaying matter) due to falling down from the spiritual world of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana (living anti-matter), the individual jiva-soul then "hires" (possess) a material bodily container (vessel) from Maha-Visnu's dreams as explained by Srila Prabhupada.

The dreams of Maha-Visnu is everything that exists in His material creation, where past, present and future exist together simultaneously as explained above as seen by Him.

The dreams of Maha-Visnu's material universe are a universal library of material bodily vessels and the surrounding geography of land masses, rivers and oceans.

The choices the fallen individual jiva-soul have, are fulfilled in an unlimited endless variety of material bodily vessels they can "hire" from Maha-Visnu to experience in the endless cycle of repeated birth and death in the temporary material world.

Maha-Visnu's dreams are part of a vast library that includes every possible scenario, or twist and turn that He knows what the individual jiva-soul's desire.

The material bodily vessels or containers the individual jiva-souls are housed  in as the passenger, are therefore permanent "posts" in the Maha-Visnu's universal dreams of past, present and future that eternally exist and experienced by an unlimited number of individual jiva-souls who fall down from the spiritual world.

The fallen individual jiva-souls must first "hire" a material bodily container from Maha-Visnu's "library of dreams" who is the creator of the material world. Only then can the fallen individual jiva-souls occupy a material bodily vessel in Maha-Visnu's material creation.

Nothing can operate or exist separate from Krsna, not even a blade of grass can move without the will of the Lord.

This is because Krsna (God) is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, and the source of all things and the proprietor of everything.

So, how does "free will" that each individual jiva-soul has, fit into Krsna ultimate control of all things, Krsna being the Supreme controller of all that there is?

And further more, how can the individual jiva-souls express themselves independently from Krsna, including rejecting Krsna if they choose, when in reality this is all Krsna's creation and all things are under His control?

The answer is, paradoxically the individual jiva-souls have always been able to express themselves in their own unique way because free will has always been part and parcel of Krsna's ultimate plan for the individual.

This independence and free will Krsna gives to the individual jiva-souls because it allows them to act autonomously from Krsna's total control, that further creates a two-way voluntary relationship with Krsna, where the individual jiva-souls can act in almost anyway they choose, even against the desires of Kṛṣṇa.

This means Krsna always allows the individual jiva-souls to express themselves in their own unique way, separate from being always controlled by Krsna like a puppet master controls every movement of his puppets.

Krsna knows that such absolute power of control on a one-sided relationship is loveless impersonalism.

This is why Krsna allows a two-way relationship of voluntary service because He knows that without this, there can never be loving exchanges and cooperative reciprocation between Kṛṣṇa and His individual jiva-souls.

Even though Krsna is the Supreme controller, without allowing the individual jiva-souls to also have their own unique freedom of choice, actions and thoughts, His Kingdoms of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana, would be loveless cold impersonal paradises because love can never be experienced or shared with just one, not even Krsna or Visnu.

The full spiritual expression and potential in the spiritual world (the Vaikuntha planets and Krsna’s central planet known as  Goloka-Vrindavana) only is experienced by Krsna and His Visnu expansions, and by His individual jiva-souls expansions,  when all relationships are a "two-way" voluntary cooperative exchanges in the spiritual world.

Krsna allows it to be this way so that a "two-way or two-sided" independent relationship exists between Kṛṣṇa and His individual devotees.

By having His creation in this way, Kṛṣṇa is allowing diversity, and a "two-way" loving contributions, exchanges and reciprocation to forever enrich and expand the relationship between Krsna and His individual devotees.

This allows personalism to prevail, denying impersonalism, which is "one-sided" loveless dictatorial stagnant socialism.

This means the individual jiva-souls (devotees) in the spiritual world can always express as they choose and feel, being separate from Krsna's overwhelming authoritarian control.

Krsna allows this so independent unique thoughts and actions from the individual jiva-souls, can always be openly expressed independently from Krsna in their own unique way, in unlimited personal ways that creates forever expanding diversity.

Freedom of self-expression (free-will) must exist in the spiritual world for the eternal individual jiva-souls and allowed by Kṛṣṇa to permit and encourage the individual jiva-souls to voluntarily express themselves in a particular service they choose to do, and not chosen for them by Krsna.

Each individual jiva-soul eternally has their own unique independent personality that allows them to forever voluntary expand their variety of devotional contributions to Krsna.

Therefore, the individual jiva-souls always voluntary choose to serve Krsna in their own unique way, or can even reject Krsna if they choose.

Without such freedom of expression, then genuine voluntary loving exchanges and reciprocation with Krsna can never exist.

If Krsna denied the individual jiva-souls their freedom of expression (free-will), which is being able to make voluntary contributions eternally, then their existence as a unique meaningful individual person has no meaning at all, making them no better than dead stone or lifeless matter.

Those foolish naive individual persons who only want to be Krsna's mindless pawn or non-contributing puppet and "yes" men and women, who are only told what to do, and how and what to think, are practising impersonalism (spiritual suicide) to a genuine Vaisnava devotee.

The full devotional potential of the individual jiva-souls does not allow them to be mindless brainless puppets who are always controlled by the dictates and demands of an impersonal puppeteer.

"Free will" means one can choose to accept or reject Krsna otherwise the concept of loving exchanges is meaningless.

Srila Prabhupada - "So, unless there is a possibility of misusing our free will, there is no question of freedom." (Dialectical Spiritualism, Critique of Descartes).

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will!" (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

The paradox here is the individual jiva-souls have their independence and free will too just like Krsna does even though He is the Supreme controller of all things.

In other words, each individual jiva-soul has their own unique personality and character always separate and independent from Krsna's Personality and absolute control (although this is paradox because Krsna is the cause of all causes and not a blade of grass moves without His sanction).

Krsna allows it to be be this to create diversities and a "two-sided relationship" between the individual jiva-souls and Krsna.

If it was all "one-way traffic" without any diversity and independent contributions (offerings) uniquely coming from each individual jiva-soul without any interference in anyway from Krsna (that He personally allows so diversity eternally exists)

Therefore, even though Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, and all living entities are fully dependent on Krsna, the paradox here is the individual jiva-souls have their unique freedom too eternally.

Free will only has meaning when the individual jiva-souls can express themselves freely in a "two-sided" voluntary affair of loving exchanges and reciprocation with Krsna.

In other words, loving reciprocation is only possible in a "two-way" exchange with both the individual jiva-souls and Kṛṣṇa both contributing to the relationship's expansion of nectarine mellows of devotional service.

Yes, loving exchanges and reciprocation are only eternally possible on a "two-way street. The word "reciprocation" only has meaning when there are two involved, not one!

Free will only has meaning when the individual jiva-souls can express themselves in an open "two-sided" loving affair without being manipulated, used or bullied in anyway.

Also being able to reject Krsna proves that "free will" does truly exist.

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is free will. Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of free will. Where is free will then? If I act only one sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will." (Philosophy Discussions with Rene Descartes)

Srila Prabhupada – "So everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that you cannot become fall down, that is not independence. That is force." (Mayapur, June 20, 1973)

Having free will (freedom of expression) is the eternal constitutional make up of every marginal living entity (jiva-soul), and is the foundation for the individual jiva-soul's voluntary relationship with Krsna.

Srila Prabhupāda – ''Love means a relationship between "two persons", then there is exchange, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted, you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there." (Aug 9, 1976, Tehran)

Even though Krsna allows the "freedom of expression" the individual jiva-souls have, it is really for His amusement, to see what they do with their eternal freedom of expression.

Krsna at all times always has genuin eternal loving affection for His individual jiva-soul expansions (devotees) far more than they can ever have for Him.

Yes, Krsna allows "free will" just to see what happens when the individual jiva-souls are given the freedom to voluntary make their own choices, decisions and unique contributions.

Krsna always remains the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes and all that is happening is also His divine plan.

Just like the Sun-disc and the sun-rays cannot exist separately from each other, similarly Krsna is never separate from His variety of living entities known as-

1 - Visnu-tattvas, unlimited direct expansions of Krsna like Narayana, Maha-Visnu,  Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Paramatma (super soul) are also Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

2 - Sakti-tattva as its most important meaning in this case,  refers to Srimati Radharani and Her unlimited expansions in the spiritual world.

3 - Siva-tattva, Lord Siva and his various expansions who tend to stay in the material world.

4 - The individual jiva-souls (marginal living entities) are "separated living entities" meaning they can choose to stay in the spiritual world with Krsna and Visnu, or enter the temporary material world and artificially imitate Krsna by attempting to be the controller of their destiny.

Each eternal jiva-soul is a unique one of a kind independent individual, who has their own unique personality separate from Krsna's Personality, and all other individual jiva-souls.

Loving devotional service and unique offerings to Krsna, is always is based on a "two-way" voluntary exchange of personal cooperative feelings manifesting as loving acts of devotion between Kṛṣṇa and His devotees, who go on too voluntarily contribute their own unique expressions (offerings) to Him as the real act of surrendering to Krsna's will that does not deny the free will and voluntary offerings of each individual jiva-soul.

On the other hand, when actions expressed in a "one-way" domineering forceful mood from a "so called God or His representative" in His Kingdom that denies personal voluntary contributions expressed in a "two-way" exchange of feelings and cooperation, only leaves the individual jiva-souls no better than dead useless stone explained above by Srila Prabhupada.

Srila Prabhupada - "Love means you take and you give also. Suppose if you love somebody and you simply take from him, but you don't give. Oh, do you think it is very good? No. It is not good. That is not love. That is exploitation. If I go on simply taking from you, and if I don't offer you anything, that is simply exploitation." (Lecture BG, Ch 9 text 2-5, New York City, Nov 23, 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - "We have got the propensity to love. Love means somebody else. Love cannot be one or love cannot be executed by only one, there must be two. I love somebody; somebody loves me, there must be lover, there must be beloved, and the transaction, then love." (SB, Canto 1 Ch 2 text 6, Delhi, Nov 12, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - "The impersonalist philosophy is oneness, so how there be love with just one? Is it possible? Have you got any such experience that love means one? No. Love means two. There must be two, the lover and the beloved. Kṛṣṇa is already lover. He loves you so much that He's trying to get you back. That is Kṛṣṇa's attempt. "Please, My dear boy, or My dear friend, My dear servant." (SB, Canto 2 Ch 1 text 3, Paris, June 12, 1974)

Srila Prabhupada – "You have got little independence therefore you can violate. Because you are part and parcel of God you have got independence, proportionately, that independence has to be accepted, little independence, we can misuse that." (Mayapur, Feb 19, 1976).

Spiritual energy (living anti-matter) is an unlimited collective of Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, and His various Visnu-tattva expansions (also God), including the unique eternal separated living entities known as the individual jiva-souls (marginal living entities) who have their own unique sense of self and independent personality separate from Krsna.

The individual jiva-souls are beginningless, endless, indestructible and forever youthful as a spiritual bodily form just like Krsna is.

This unlimited collective of individual jiva-souls are minor expansions of Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

Furthermore, only Krsna and His direct Visnu/Narayana expansions are simultaneously both an individual person as a spiritual Bodily Form, and an all-pervasive life force.

Kṛṣṇa is like the original candle that lights up all other candles who are His unlimited Visnu-tattva direct expansions.

Srila Prabhupada - "In Brahma-saṁhitā the example is given of an original candle which lights a second candle. Although both candles are of equal power, one is accepted as the original, and the other is said to be kindled from the original. The Viṣṇu expansion is like the second candle. He is as powerful as Kṛṣṇa, but the original Viṣṇu is Kṛṣṇa. Brahmā and Lord Śiva are obedient servants of the Supreme Lord, and the Supreme Lord as Viṣṇu is an expansion of Kṛṣṇa." (TLC, Ch 8)

This means Krsna and His direct expansions are simultaneously one (as an individual person) and different (all-pervasive) within Krsna's spiritual and material creations.

The individual jiva-souls in their original position (devotees) are a perpetual spiritual bodily form in the image of beautiful Krsna.

Srila Prabhupāda - "There is eternally a spiritual bodily form the individual jiva-soul is. This temporary material body we are in within the material world, is compared to a dress. Now, just like in your present material form you have got hand; therefore your coat has got hand. You have got legs; therefore your pant has got legs, it is to be assumed that the spirit soul (jiva-soul) always has got form and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. The individual jiva-soul is not formless; it has got form. But with our material eyes at the present, gross eyes, we cannot find it; therefore we say and foolishly believe it has no form." (Lecture BG, Ch 2 text 14, Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Devotee – "Is the original body of the individual jiva-soul a human form?"

Srila Prabhupada – "Yes, human form, God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form, here you see Krsna, two hands, two legs."

Hari-sauri dasa – "How do we understand, then, that there are peacocks and flowers and trees in the spiritual world? Are these not eternal forms?"

Srila Prabhupada – [describing material form first]: "Yes, they are more covered, just like if you cover your body with blanket, the hands and legs are invisible. But you are not the blanket. So the trees and plants, they are more covered. They are not in full manifestation. The human form is the full manifestation of the soul."

Hari-sauri dasa - "They are covered in the spiritual world?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Not in the spiritual world, there that is voluntary, some devotees choose to serve Krsna as flower; so they become flower there. If I want to be a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna and become flower, voluntarily, but can change from flower to human body or any form I choose, that is spiritual life, there is no restriction. If a devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, as flagpole, as chair, as cloud, as chariot or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything is possible. It is inconceivable, yet a fact." (Lecture SB, Canto 6 Ch 1 text 1-4, Melb, Australia May 20, 1975)

The full potential and unique expression of the individual jiva-souls in their natural position is eternally a spiritual bodily form always active in Krsna's pastimes.

Furthermore no two individual jiva-souls (devotees) are the same, each have their own unique characteristics, spiritual bodily form and unique relationship with Kṛṣṇa eternally.

The individual jiva-souls in their full potential are never an impersonal formless dormant (inactive) almost liveless spark in Krsna's Bodily effulgence (the impersonal inactive brahmajyoti).

The eternal original natural of the individual jiva-souls are always active in Krsna's service and pastimes as explained above.

Krsna's direct Visnu-tattva expansions (unlimited Visnu/Narayana four armed Forms) and His minor individual jiva-soul expansions are all unique persons as an eternal spiritual bodily form.

However, Krsna and His Visnu/Narayana expansions have a further quality that the individual jiva-souls do not have. Kṛṣṇa is not only just an individual person as a spiritual bodily form, He is also "all-pervasive," with His creation.

This means Krsna is "simultaneously one and different" with His spiritual and material creations, and known as Paramatma or Supersoul who individually expands everywhere in Krsna's creation and even reside in the material atom.

As said above, Krsna is simultaneously "one and different" with His creation. This is preached by Lord Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is the combination of Srimati Radharani (Krsna's eternal consort) and Krsna Himself as "one spiritual Bodily Form."

It is also important to understand that the relationship between Krsna and His devotees is always a "two-sided" voluntary loving reciprocal relationship, based on cooperation, loving exchanges, collaboration, loving returns, intensional benefactions and unique personal offerings. Or even total rejection if the individual jiva souls choose to do so.

Krsna allows all these expression because without free will, voluntary loving exchanges are impossible. And part of free will means being able to reject Krsna. This mood of being seemingly detached from Krsna's absolute control Krsna sanctions.

This allows the individual jiva-souls to have their own independent separate nature within Krsna's creation, where the individual jiva-souls can always express themselves with their own thoughts, choices and actions the way they voluntarily choose seemingly outside Krsna's jurisdiction or absolute control (an obvious paradox).

However, that independent nature the individual jiva-souls think they have, is actually an illusion because everything is part and parcel of Krsna's creation including the free will the individualjiva-souls express.

In other words, free will is also within Krsna's absolute plan that He allows just so He can have a "two-sided" open relationship with His individual jiva-souls (devotees), where each individual devotee has their own personality unique to them, meaning each have their own independent nature where no two individual jiva-souls are the same.

We must never forget Kṛṣṇa is always in control because nothing can happen or exist outside of Krsna's plan, as explained in Bhagavad Gita As It Is-

"Not a blade of grass can move without the will of the Lord."

The full spiritual expression and potential of the marginal living entities (individual jiva-souls) in the spiritual world is always based on voluntary service and never forced by Krsna.

His unlimited Visnu direct expansions of Himself like Narayana, Visnu, Maha-Visnu, Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Paramatma (supersoul) etc,  carry out their management on the perpetual Vaikuntha planets and in the temporary material worlds.

Krsna on the other hand, as His childhood form, never leaves Goloka-Vṛndāvana His eternal spiritual personal Abode.

The eternal separated (yet paradoxically fully dependent on Krsna) individual jiva-souls (devotees), always experience a unique relationship with Krsna in a "two-way" open personal exchange based on a variety of independent expressions from the individual jiva-souls as explained above.

Krsna allows it to be this way because only by allowing a "two-way" relationship of voluntary service, or non-voluntary exchanges within Krsna's creation from the individual jiva-souls, can free will, or individual freedom of self expression exist.

The relationship between Kṛṣṇa and His devotees is based on loving returns and exchanges where Krsna always gives back to them in kindness and in quantity (reciprocating). This allows a loving meaningful unique mysterous cooperation between Krsna and the individual jiva-souls to healthily grow and expand.

By having His creation on this "two-way" street of voluntary service, Kṛṣṇa is allowing a more diverse reality that encourages unlimited voluntary personal contributions from His devotees in the endless eternal youthful Kingdoms of God known as the Vaikuntha planets of Visnu/Narayana, and Krsna’s central Abode of known as Goloka-Vrindavana.

The eternal relationship with Krsna (God) is openly expressed from two angles instead of being restricted to just dictatorial one (from just Krsna's absolute control).

Love can only be expressed and experienced on a "two-way" street instead of a "one-way" autocracy that denies and stagnates voluntary loving contributions, personal exchanges and independent offerings from Krsna's devotees.

This concept of "free will" and having this unique sense of independent self felt eternally by His individual expansions (devotees) is allowed by Kṛṣṇa so their independent unique sense of self, is freely acted upon and expressed by His devotees (individual jiva-souĺs) that forever enrich and blissfully expand and adds originality to the relationship between Krsna and His individual devotees (jiva-souls).

In other words, real love and experiencing personalism, is only possible between "two persons" both contributing to the relationship, and never just "one" person dominating and controlling the relationship like a puppet master controls and manipulates his puppets (impersonalism).

This allows genuine personalism to exist only fully experienced on a "two-way" street, to prevail, denying impersonalism, or a "one-sided" loveless cold stagnant dictatorship.

Srila Prabhupada – “Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling, then there is love, not achieved by force, no, Krsna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!” (Washington DC July 8, 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - "Love means you take and you give also. Suppose if you love somebody and you simply take from him, but you don't give. Oh, do you think it is very good? No, it is not good. That is not love, that is exploitation. If I go on simply taking from you, and don't offer you anything in return, that is simply exploitation." (Lecture BG, Ch 9 text 2-5, New York City, Nov 23, 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - "We have got the propensity to love. Love means somebody else. Love cannot be one or love cannot be executed only by one, there must be another one. I love somebody; somebody loves me, there must be lover, there must be beloved, and the transaction, then there is love." (SB, Canto 1 Ch 2 text 6, Delhi, Nov 12, 1973)

Srila Prabhupāda – "Love can only exist in a relationship between "two-persons," then there is exchange, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted, you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there." (Aug 9, 1976, Tehran)

If it was all a one-way decision making totalitarian dictatorship by Krsna without any assistance allowing diversity and the unique independent contributions from the individual jiva-souls expressed in a "two-way" exchange for good or bad, then the Kingdom of God would be denying unique contributions that allow loving exchanges.

This can only happen in "two-sided" cooperative reciprocation, otherwise only an impersonal cold loveless exploitative existence will only exist.

This means the individual jiva-souls (devotees) in the spiritual world can always express themselves as they choose and feel while serving Krsna, without being forced by Krsna being independent from Krsna's authoritarian control that He allows just so a two-way voluntary exchange can exist with His devotees.

Krsna allows the individual jiva-souls to seemingly give up acknowledging Krsna's absolute control over everything, so that their independent unique thoughts and actions can exist and be openly expressed independently in their own unique way in unlimited personal ways within the temporary material world created by Maha Visnu's dreaming, who forever expands His diversity of the material world so all desires from the fallen individual jiva-souls are for filled.

Even in the spiritual worlds of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana, freedom of self-expression (free-will) must exist in the on a "two-way" platform with Kṛṣṇa and Visnu allowing the individual jiva-souls to express themselves in a particular service that they voluntary choose to do, and not chosen for them by Krsna or Visnu. This is what a two-way street means.

Each individual jiva-soul eternally has their own unique independent personality and character that allows them to forever voluntary expand their variety of devotional contributions (service) to Krsna.

Therefore, the individual jiva-souls are always able to voluntary choose to serve Krsna in their own unique way, or can even reject Krsna if they choose.

Without having such freedom of expression within one's individual constitution, then genuine voluntary loving exchanges, reciprocation and free will can never exist.

If Krsna denied the individual jiva-souls their freedom of expression (free-will), that allows them to eternally experience an independent sense of self, which is being able to make their own voluntary contributions and decisions, then their existence as a unique meaningful individual contributing person has no meaning at all, making them no better than dead stone or lifeless matter.

So, how does "free will" and the sense of being independent from Krsna work, when in actual fact, the individual jiva-souls are always fully dependent on Krsna and His Visnu-tattva expansions like Maha-Visnu?

All that the individual jiva-souls have, plan,  desire and have, always have fitted into Krsna ultimate plan because Krsna is always the Supreme Lord and controller of all that there is?

Krsna allows the individual jiva-souls to do what ever they desire (choose) due to free will, and such desires are always for filled by His Visnu-tattva expansions like Maha-Visnu, Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Brahma and the demigods in the temporary mundane material world, who build and manage the temporary material world (Krsna's separated external material energies) with their demigod servants.

Why does Krsna allow the individual jiva-souls to express themselves independently from Him, that even includes rejecting Krsna if they choose? When in eternal reality everything is Krsna's creation and belongs to Him, where all that there is, is under His control and always dependent on Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes?

The fact is, nothing can operate or exist separate from Krsna, not even a blade of grass can move without the will of the Lord. This is because Krsna (God) is the origin of all the spiritual and material worlds.

So, how can the individual jiva-souls eternally experience a unique sense of independence and free will separate from Krsna?

The answer is explained above, paradoxically the individual jiva-souls have always been able to express themselves in their own unique way independent from Krsna and Viṣṇu because such freedom of expression, thoughts and deeds have always been part and parcel of Krsna's ultimate plan. This allows a "two-way" open mood of voluntary contributions and exchanges between Kṛṣṇa and His individual devotees.

The individual jiva-souls always have their free will and an independent feeling of a unique self. This is within Krsna's absolute plan to just so He can experience "two-way" surprising exchanges with His devotees.

In this way, Krsna's devotees (the individual jiva-souls) can eternally think for themselves and make their own decisions on how they want to voluntary serve Krsna in so many progressive ways, or not serve Him at all if they choose. This is the reality of free will sanctioned by Krsna and fully under His control.

This independence and free will gives the individual jiva-souls their unique autonomous nature that allows them to act as they desire seemingly separate from Krsna's total control.

But we must not forget that this only happens because Krsna allows it to happen, after all, it is all His creation.

Such independence allows a "two-way" voluntary relationship between Krsna and His devotees, where the individual jiva-souls can act in almost anyway they choose, even against the desires of Kṛṣṇa if they want.

This means Krsna always allows the individual jiva-souls to express themselves in their own unique way, separate from being always controlled by Krsna like a puppet master controls the every movements of his puppets.

Krsna knows that such absolute power of control in a "one-sided" relationship that denies two-way exchanges is loveless impersonalism.

This is why Krsna allows a "two-way" relationship of voluntary service because He knows that without this exchange, there can never be loving cooperative and reciprocation between Kṛṣṇa and His individual jiva-souls.

Even though Krsna is the Supreme controller, without allowing the individual jiva-souls to also have their own unique freedom of choice, actions and thoughts, then His Kingdoms of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana would be loveless cold impersonal paradises, because love can never be experienced or shared with just one, not even Krsna or Visnu, there must be two.

Only the temporary material bodily vessels (matter) that the individual jiva-souls (anti-matter) unique individual units [persons]) enter, are in constant decay, breaks down and eventually merges back into the "oneness" of material energy (matter).

"Matter" - the material bodily vessels, are temporary and eventually decompose, cease to function and break down into different material elements, then again merge back into the "oneness" of material energy.

"Anti-matter" - The living individual life force as spiritual bodily forms where the individual jiva-souls are never "all-one" like matter is, unless refering to Krsna (God) and His Visnu/Narayana (Visnu-tattva) expansions who are also individual person, and simultaneously all-pervasive.

The eternal individual jiva-soul (marginal living entity) are individual units of anti-matter who are eternal persons. Once in the temporary material world, the individual jiva-souls are housed within a temporary material bodily vessel, however the indestructible spiritual individual living person within the material bodily vessel, can never be destroyed, cut into pieces, terminated or extinguished in any way as Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 2 tells us. This means no individual jiva-soul can die. We as individual spiritual living entities are all beginningless and endless.

Only the material bodily vessel that the eternal individual jiva-souls occupy in the material world, is subject to decline, decay, decomposition and death.

In other words, the trapped individual jiva-souls within a subtle and gross material bodily vessel are eventually forced to change their gross material bodily containers due to its temporary nature and demise therefore, becoming unsuitable to house the individual jiva-soul.

It is therefore important to understand the individual jiva-souls are beginningless and endless as confirmed in Bhagavad Gita As It Is in Chapter 2 quoted below.

This also means there is no limitations to what the eternal individual jiva-souls can experience because the stage for the is infinity. All individual jīva-souls are eternal persons as a bodily spiritual form, there are no new individual jiva-souls ever being created because they have always existed.

Srila Prabhupada – "There are no new souls, new and old are due to this material body, but the jiva-soul is never born and never dies, so if there is no birth, how can there be new souls?" (Letter to Jagadisa dasa 9th July 1970)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.” (BG, Ch 2 text 12)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change." (BG, Ch 2 text 13)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed." (BG, Ch 2 text 14)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "O best among men [Arjuna], the person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation." (BG, Ch 2 text 15)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - “Those who are seers of the truth have concluded that of the nonexistent [the material body] there is no endurance and of the eternal [the soul] there is no change. This they have concluded by studying the nature of both." (BG, Ch 2 text 16)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - “That which pervades the entire body you should know to be indestructible. No one is able to destroy that imperishable soul." (BG, Ch 2 text 17)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - “The material body of the indestructible, immeasurable and eternal living entity is sure to come to an end; therefore, fight, O descendant of Bharata." (BG, Ch 2 text 18)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - “Neither he who thinks the living entity the slayer nor he who thinks it slain is in knowledge, for the self slays not nor is slain." (BG, Ch 2 text 19)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." (BG, Ch 2 text 20 from the "corrected" 1983 edition)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "O Pārtha, how can a person who knows that the soul is indestructible, eternal, unborn and immutable kill anyone or cause anyone to kill?" (BG, Ch 2 text 21)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones." (BG, Ch 2 text 22)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind." (BG, Ch 2 text 23)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "This individual soul is unbreakable and insoluble, and can be neither burned nor dried. He is everlasting, present everywhere, unchangeable, immovable and eternally the same." (BG, Ch 2 text 24)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "It is said that the soul is invisible, inconceivable and immutable. Knowing this, you should not grieve for the material body." (BG, Ch 2 text 25)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "If, however, you think that the soul [or the symptoms of life] is always born and dies forever, you still have no reason to lament, O mighty armed." (BG, Ch 2 text 26)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament." (BG, Ch 2 text 27)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "All created beings are unmanifest in their beginning, manifest in their interim state, and unmanifest again when annihilated. So what need is there for lamentation?" (BG, Ch 2 text 28)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "Some look on the soul as amazing, some describe him as amazing, and some hear of him as amazing, while others, even after hearing about him, cannot understand him at all." (BG, Ch 2 text 29)

Bhagavad Gita As It Is - "O descendant of Bharata, he who dwells in the material body can never be slain. Therefore, you need not grieve for any living being." (BG, Ch 2 text 30)

The individual jiva-souls are a living unique collective of anti-matter living entities, individual person as an eternal spiritual bodily form who are beginningless and endless and therefore indestructible as described above.

Furthermore as Srila Prabhupada explains, unless there is the freedom of voluntary self expression for the individual jiva-souls to do wrong or right, then there is no question being free or having free will. Where is free will then if I can only act one sided? That means I have no free will Prabhupada explains.

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly, that is free will. Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right there is no question of free will. Where is free will then? If I can only act one sided that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly that means we have free will. In other words free will means there is always a choice."

Hayagriva dasa - "A man may know better but still act wrongly."

Srila Prabhupada - "Yes, but that is free will, some misuse their free will just like a thief, they know it is stealing, it is bad, but still they do it. But that is free will, they cannot check their greediness, so in spite of knowing they are doing the wrong thing by stealing and will be eventually be punished, they sill do it. They know; they have seen other thieves get punished and put into prison, everything they already know, but still they steal. Why? Misuse of free will! But unless there is the possibility to misuse free will, then there is no question of free will." (Talk on Rene Descartes philosophy with Srila Prabhupada and disciples)

The paradox here is the individual jiva-souls have their own independence and free will too, even though Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, cause of all causes who knows everything, and is behind everything, and therefore  simultaneously one and different from His creation of the living entities and the spiritual and material worlds.

In other words, each individual jiva-soul (devotee) has their own unique personality and character that is seemly always paradoxically separate from Krsna's Personality and absolute control, although we must never forget that Krsna is the cause of all causes behind everything and not a blade of grass can move without His sanction.

Krsna allows it to be be this way to create diversities within His own creation, where a "two-sided" cooperative or non-cooperative relationship exists between the individual jiva-souls (the created) and Krsna (the creator).

Krsna never tells His devotees how to think, act or what to offer, He encourages them to voluntary choose their own offerings, He only advices them so the correct standard is understood.

Krsna prefers His devotees to choose for themselves how to serve Him Srila has explained to us.

Srila Prabhupada - "The individual jiva-soul's position in the spiritual world is always voluntary, some devotees want to serve Krsna as flower; so they become flower there. If I want to be a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna and become flower, voluntarily. And one can change their spiritual bodily form, from flower to human bodily form, that is spiritual life. There is no restriction, if a devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, they serve Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, as field, as a flagpole, as chair, as a chariot, as a pathway, as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything is possible, it is inconceivable, yet a fact." (SB, Canto 6 Ch 1 text 1-4, Melb, Australia May 20, 1975).<^>.

Being "generated" from Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes does not mean the individual jiva-souls are created and have a beginning point.

Being "generated" from Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes does not mean the individual jiva-souls are created and have a beginning point.

It means the eternal individual jiva-souls, who are beginningless and endless, are miner separate expansions of Krsna who are given their own sense of individual self and free will to express themselves in their own unique way.

This creates a "two-sided" unique relationship with Krsna based on voluntary loving exchanges and reciprocation.

The individual jiva-souls are given free will by Krsna to participate and contribute in a voluntary unique "two-way" reciprocal exchange with Krsna.

As Srila Prabhupada explains, love can never exist with just one, there must be "two" so loving exchanges, reciprocation, personal contributions and cooperation always exists on a "two-way" street.

The individual jiva souls are NOT direct Visnu-tattva expansions of Krsna known as His Visnu/Narayana Forms, who are all directly Krsna Himself playing different unique roles in His own unlimited pastimes.

On the hand, the individual jiva-souls are separated expansions of Krsna yet simultaneously one with Him because everything there is, is Krsna's energy and part of Him.

Yet paradoxically, the individual jiva-souls have their own unique sense of independent self that Krsna allows, just so they can voluntary serve Krsna within a "two-way" cooperative reciprocal exchange.

This allows the individual jiva-souls to always contribute in their own unique independent way, or even reject Krsna if they choose.

The individual jiva-souls eternally belonging to a beginningless and endless category or collective of living entities known as the marginal plane, tatastha-sakti or marginal living entities because of their unique independence and free will that even allows them to reject Krsna if they choose.

This means they have a choice due to their free-will that Kṛṣṇa always allows, for the purpose of encouraging voluntary contributions expressed in a "two-way" reciprocal exchange with Krsna and Visnu as explained above.

This further means the individual jiva-souls can choose to live in the spiritual worlds of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka Vrindavana as their eternal spiritual bodily form, which is their original position and natural home, or can unnaturally live in the temporary decaying material world housed as a passenger in a material bodily vessel.

The word tatastha-sakti (the marginal plane), literally means the individual jiva-souls can be on this side (the spiritual world) or that side (the material world) inthe Spiritual Sky (all that exists in Krsna's creation of the spiritual and material worlds).

In other words tatastha-sakti is the category the individual jiva-souls are eternally related to because they can live in either the spiritual world, or the material world, but do not originate from there because it is not a place, and they have no origin.

The eternal real natural home and origin of the individual jiva-souls is the perpetual spiritual worlds known as the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana (anti-matter) and not the temporary material world (matter), the Body of Maha-Visnu or the impersonal inactive brahmajyoti (Krsna’s Bodily effulgence).

The individual jiva-souls as an eternal spiritual bodily form and have no origin or beginning point to their existence.

The individual jiva-souls were not created from the marginal plane (tatastha-sakti), which is an eternal category or platform the individual jiva-souls are described as because they have eternal free-will within Krsna's creation as explained above.

The individual jiva-souls are known as the marginal collective or plane (tatastha-sakti) due to sometimes choosing to to live in the spiritual world, their natural eternal home, or live in the material world, their unnatural artificial home.

Srila Prabhupada - "So the individual jiva-souls are the marginal energy. Marginal means we may remain under the external energy, or we may remain under the spiritual energy, as we like." (Lecture BG, Ch 2 text 13, London, Aug 19, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - "We living entities (individual jiva-souls) are marginal energy. The whole material world is part of the material energy. And there is spiritual energy, the spiritual world, we are marginal which means we are sitting either in the material world, or spiritual woworld. Marginal means this way or that way. You can become spiritual or you become material. No third alternative. Either you become materialistic or you become spiritualistic. So, as long as we are in the material world, you are sitting on the material energy however, you are also sitting in Kṛṣṇa creation because His material energy is not separated from Kṛṣṇa." (Lecture BG, Ch 6 text 25-29, Los Angeles, Feb 18, 1969)

Srila Prabhupada - "The marginal energy (individual jiva-souls) means they are between the two: the spiritual energy and material energy. At the present moment, those who are in this material world are under the influence of material energy. But we can get out of this material energy by bhagavad-bhakti." (Lecture BG, Ch 13 text 5, Bombay, Sept 28, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - "Marginal means actually we belong to the spiritual nature. Because we are spirit soul, but we have come in contact with this material nature, some way or other. So therefore we are seeing our position incompatible. We cannot adjust here. Therefore we are getting one type of body and enjoying or suffering another type of body, another type of body, another type of body. This is going on. Therefore we are called marginal. If we like, we can transfer our self to the spiritual world and remain eternally, because we are of the spiritual nature." (Lecture SB, Canto 1 Ch 15 text 36, Los Angeles, Dec 14, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - "The external energy is this material world, bhūmir āpo 'nalo vāyuḥ khaṁ mano buddhir eva ca. This is material world. And internal energy is the spiritual world. And marginal energy-we, the living entities (individual jiva-souls). Marginal means we may remain in this material world or we may remain in the spiritual world." (Lecture SB, Canto 3 Ch 25 text 11, Bombay, Nov 11, 1974)

Srila Prabhupada - "Caitanya Mahāprabhu explained, taṭasthā-śakti which means marginal. Marginal means the living entity (individual jiva-souls) has to become servant. That is his position. Jīvera svarūpa haya nitya kṛṣṇa dāsa (Cc. Madhya 20.108-109). But when the servant wants to become master, he is under the clutches of māyā. And when he understands that "I am not master; I am servant," he is under Kṛṣṇa. That is taṭasthā (marginal). That taṭa... Taṭa means the beach. Sometimes the beach is covered with water, and sometimes it is land. That is called taṭasthā. So that land, sometimes water." (Lecture CC Madhya-lila 20.108-109, New York, July 15, 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - "Because he is living entity, he is marginal. There is chance of... Marginal means... I have explained several times. Just like the land. Between the ocean and the land, there is a portion of land which is sometime merged within water, sometimes it is land. So a living entity's position is like that, marginal energy. He may be under the influence of yogamāyā or he may be under the influence of mahāmāyā. When he is under the influence of mahāmāyā, that is his conditional life. And when he is under the influence of yogamāyā, he's free." (Lecture, Seattle, Oct 7, 1968)

Srila Prabhupada - "So we are called taṭastha which is another word for marginal. Marginal means the individual jiva-souls can remain either way, they can be in the spiritual world, or the material world. Either on God's side or māyā's side. That is my choice. So when we don't want to serve God, then we are sent to the māyā, to serve māyā. Māyā means his position as servant remains the same, but he thinks "I am master." That is māyā. He is Just like a child trying to do something father does not like. But when he cries, he's given that. "All right. Do this." But "All right, do this" or "Do that," he is under the father. He is under the control of the father. But when he is given such chance, "Oh, I am independent now. I am independent." So this is called māyā. He's never independent, but he thinks, "I am independent." (Philosophy Discussion on The Evolutionists Thomas Huxley, Henri Bergson, and Samuel Alexander)

Srila Prabhupada - "Marginal means sometimes internal, sometimes external. When we (individual jiva-soul) are under the internal energy, that is our normal life, and when we are under the external energy, that is our abnormal life. Therefore, we are called marginal energy; we can be either this way or that way. But being qualitatively one with the purusa, our tendency is to remain in the internal energy. Being in the external energy is our artificial attempt." (Letter to Lilavati, Allston, Mass, USA 25 April, 1969)

The individual jiva-souls were never created from the impersonal brahmajyoti, tatastha-sakti or Maha-Visnu because they have no origin, they are beginningless and endless and were never created just like Krsna was never created and has always existed.

As Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 2 teaches, the individual jiva-souls were never created, nor will they ever cease to exist.

He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." (BG, Ch 2 text 20 from the “corrected” 1983 edition)

Srila Prabhupada – "There are no new souls, new and old are due to this material body, but the jiva-soul is never born and never dies, so if there is no birth, how can there be new souls?" (Letter to Jagadisa dasa, 9 July 1970)

There is no origin or cessation for Krsna's marginal living entities, an unlimited number of individual jiva-souls who have all existed for as long as Krsna has existed, which is eternity.

The individual jiva-souls are eternal living persons as a spiritual bodily form who can never be destroyed, cut into pieces, terminated or extinguished, the individual jiva-souls are indestructible.

The spiritual platform known as the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana are the original home of the individual jiva-souls.

As said above, in their original spiritual home on the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana, the individual jiva-souls were never created there because they have always existed there as individual persons as a spiritual bodily form serving Krsna or Visnu.

The individual jiva-souls are therefore eternal living units of anti-matter who, through their free will, can voluntarily choose to live in the spiritual world, or the material world, which is what being marginal means as previously explained.

As said above, the eternal individual jiva-souls being generated from the marginal plane, does not mean they were created, or originate from some place in creation, or have some beginning point in the spiritual sky, no, they are eternally without beginning or end.

The individual jiva-souls were never created, nor literally "generated" from any origin because they have always existed without beginning or end, and will continue to exist as an individual spiritual bodily form (person) for eternity.

The individual jiva-souls are eternal persons as a spiritual bodily form whose natural home is the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana the Kingdom's of God (living anti-matter) that take up 75% of the Spiritual Sky.

However, less then 10% of individual jiva-souls from the spiritual world, are sadly presently covered and housed as a passenger within a temporary material bodily vessel within the material world (decaying matter) that takes up 25% of the Spiritual Sky.

Falling to the material world and experiencing the repeated birth and death within a material bodily vessel the individual jiva-souls are housed in as the passenger, means being possibly covered by the 8 million 400 species of material bodily forms in the material world in their journey through the material world.

However, the individual jiva-souls are always an eternal spiritual personality (person) as a spiritual bodily form for infinity that only becomes covered if they enter the material world.

The individual jiva-souls never came into being or were generated from a beginning point because they are beginningless and endless, and never created.

This means the individual jiva-souls never originated or generated from tatastha-sakti (the marginal plane) as some claim because again, there is no origin for the individual jiva-souls who like Krsna and Viṣṇu, exist eternally.

In other words, just like Krsna has always existed, so has His marginal potency, the individual jiva-souls.

The individual jiva-souls (living individual units of anti-matter) are not literally between the spiritual energy and the material energy as some wrongly claim because the individual jiva-souls are always part of the spiritual energy (living individual units of anti-matter) that only becomes covered in the material world by being housed as a passenger in a temporary material bodily vessel.

In other words, even when fallen and confined (housed) in a material bodily vessel in the temporary material world, the individual jiva-souls always remain a spiritual person from the spiritual world.

Therefore the individual jiva-souls are never literally inbetween matter and spirit because they are always spirit, an eternal spiritual bodily form whose home and spiritual body eternally belongs in their natural home in the spiritual world, even if they do enter the temporary material world and become housed in a material bodily vessel (decaying matter) in the mundane material world.

Whether they are in the spiritual world or material world, the individual jiva-souls are eternally a unique anti-matter individual spiritual person.

Srila Prabhupada - "So this temporary material world is the taṭastha (materially conditioned) characteristics, and the spiritual world is the permanent (personal) characteristics. So our effort is to get out of this taṭastha (materially conditioned) characteristics and enter the permanent (personal)  characteristics. That is called spiritual elevation." (Lecture CC, Madhya-lila 20.354-358, New York City, Dec 28, 1966)

Srila Prabhupada - "Because the individual soul is apt to fall down sometimes under the clutches of māyā to the material world, it is called taṭastha śakti." (Lecture BG, Ch 7 Text 4-5 Bombay, March 30, 1971)

Maya or the temporary material energy does not exist in the spiritual world however, free will eternally exists there and allows the individual jiva-souls to make their own decisions of voluntary offerings and contributions, and can even choose to accept or reject Krsna.

The inactive brahman effulgence (impersonal brahmajyoti) is worshipped by impersonalists, mayavadis and mundane religionists who do not see God as an individual Person, who is simultaneously all-pervasive (all-one) with His creation. They have no idea about the spiritual Bodily Form of God (Krsna).

The impersonal inactive brahmajyoti is a fallen condition the individual jiva-souls further fall down too after becoming frustrated with material world's repeated cycle of birth and death however, can never remain in that "fallen condition" of inactivity eternally within the impersonal brahmajyoti.

Eventually, they are forced to leave that dormant inactive fallen condition because the nature of the individual jiva-souls is to always be "active" in the service of Krsna, their original natural position in the spiritual world, or again in the material world suffering within the cycle of birth and death.

The eternal nature of the individual jiva-souls is to always remain active in Krsna's service.

So, eventually the fallen individual jiva-souls leave the impersonal brahmajyoti or void and again take birth in the material world.

Revatīnandana dasa - "Srila Prabhupāda you very clearly explained to me once in a letter that if the individual jiva-soul goes into the brahmajyoti, that is considered a fallen condition, still fallen, so does that means the whole brahmajyoti is composed of fallen individual jiva-souls? You see my question? If I go there, I'm a jīva-soul, and if I go there to the brahmajyoti effulgence, am I fallen?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes."

Revatīnandana dasa - "That means all individual jīva-souls there in the impersonal Brahman (Brahmajyoti) are also fallen souls?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes, existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness. Those who are in the brahman effulgence are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition. When fall takes place, it means falling down from the non-fallen condition (Goloka-Vrindavana and Vaikuntha). The non-fallen condition is Krsna consciousness." (Letter to Revatinandana, LA 13 June, 1970 and 1971 London)

The individual jiva-souls are eternal spiritual living persons as a spiritual bodily form, who can never be destroyed, cut into pieces, terminated or extinguished because the individual jiva-souls are indestructible.

This means there was no beginning to the marginal living entities (individual jiva-souls) existence, nor will there be an end, or no new individual jiva-souls created because they have always existed as explained above.

The eternal individual jiva-souls can choose, due to free will, stay in the temporary material world's repeated cycle of birth and death and almost endless cycles of material annihilation and creations, for an almost infinity, but ultimately it is all temporary.

So the conclusion is, there is no origin to Krsna's individual marginal living energy (an unlimited number of eternal individual jiva-souls), who have existed for as long as Krsna has existed, which is eternity.

We must understand from Srila Prabhupada's teachings the real meaning of surrender, which is engaging in voluntary devotional service, loving reciprocal exchanges and expressing free will in a cooperative way for the purpose to always remember Krsna and never forget Him.

In the spiritual world's of Goloka-Vrindavana and the Vaikuntha planets, surrender to Krsna, through loving voluntary devotional service, is never a "one-way or one-sided" impersonal relationship that denies individual unique contributions and offerings from the devotees in a two-way exchange of loving reciprocation.

Real love or service to Radha and Krsna in the spiritual world is always voluntary, based on wonderful loving reciprocal exchanges between Radha and Kṛṣṇa and their devotees. Only service through Srimati Radharani is Krsna truly pleased

Voluntary service in the Kingdom of God (Krsna) is only genuinely expressed correctly in a "two-way" exchange of loving emotions based on devotional creative actions and thoughts.

Krsna always sanction's "free will" in the spiritual world because He allows the individual jiva-souls to have their own unique independent voluntary skills of self expression, and choice of personal offerings they present to Krsna.

Without free will, the individual jiva-souls can never participate in voluntarily expressing their unique love for Kṛṣṇa, that enrich, expand and add unlimited varigatedness to the relationship.

The individual jiva-soul's (marginal living entities) relationship with Krsna, is naturally a "two-way" personal partnership sharing loving exchanges based on reciprocation, voluntary cooperation, and pleasing Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

Krsna allows the individual jiva-souls to have their "free will" for the purpose that they can voluntarily serve Krsna in their own unique personal way allowing a "two-way" reciprocal exchange of participation and contributions that forever expands the loving mellows in the relationship between Kṛṣṇa and His devotees (the individual jiva-souls)

Such loving exchanges can never exist with only "one" making all the decisions, not even if it is Krsna, there must be always be two-way exchange with God (Krsna) otherwise "love" can never exist!

Srila Prabhupāda – "Love means a relationship between "two-persons," then there is exchange, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted, you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there." (Aug 9, 1976, Tehran)

Love can only exist in a "two-way" exchange of intimate expressions. Only a "two-sided" cooperation expands one's unique individual voluntary contributions presented to Krsna as personal offerings.

On the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka Vrindavana, personal expressions of loving exchanges between Kṛṣṇa and His devotees can only be expressed and acted upon by having free will.

Such freedom of expression is always encouraged by Krsna in His relationship with His devotees (the individual jiva-souls) that forever adds flavour, variety and mystery to their association.

This means the Kingdom of God (Krsna's abode) is not a "one-sided" dominating impersonal stagnant domain devoid of personal unique offerings from His devotees, that will only deny personal unique contributions (offerings) to God (Krsna), meant to expand, enrich and forever flavour the relationship with Kṛṣṇa with unlimited variety.

As said above, love or service is not a "one-sided" affiliate of total supremacy or pre-eminence, it is rather an act of voluntary participation and offerings of personal unique contributions, only then can real loving exchanges exist in a two-way exchange exist.

So we must understand that genuine loving relations and service are based on voluntary reciprocal exchanges and contributions between two and not just one!

Loveless Impersonalism is excluding the voluntary act of unique self expression that denies a "two-way" voluntary cooperative contributing exchange with God (Krsna).

The individual jiva-souĺs have their choices too, even if that choice sometimes means rejecting Krsna, although that is very rare in the spiritual world where less than 10% of devotees (individual jiva-souĺs) choose to leave.

Free will only has meaning when the individual jiva-souls have a choice to express themselves in a "two-sided" voluntary way with, or without Krsna. This means the individual jiva-souls can reject Krsna if they choose, which in a sense proves that "free will" does truly exist.

Only then can genuine free will exist.

In other words, loving reciprocation is only possible in a "two-way" exchange between two individuals with each contributing to the relationship's expansion of nectarine mellows of service.

Impersonalism is understood in this way, the puppeter has total control over his puppets by manipulating the strings that control their every actions, they only act accordingly to what the puppeter does with his strings, the puppets have no thoughts of their own, or have no sense of an individual existence.

Similarly, the individual jiva-souls are not Krsna's mindless emotionless puppets or drones. Those who think surrendering to Krsna in an impersonal way by becoming His mindless puppet and only doing what He demands without personal voluntary contributions, are dangerous mayavadis who are foolishly committing spiritual suicide.

Srila Prabhupada - "The impersonalist philosophy is "oneness," so how there be love with just one? Is it possible? Have you got any such experience that love means one? No. Love means two. There must be two, the lover and the beloved. Kṛṣṇa is already lover. He loves you so much that He's trying to get you back. That is Kṛṣṇa's attempt. "Please, My dear boy, or My dear friend, My dear servant." (SB, Canto 2 Ch 1 text 3, Paris, June 12, 1974)

The Kingdom of Kṛṣṇa is nothing like that, Kṛṣṇa only wants those devotees who think for themselves on how to serve Him, and who voluntary choose to serve Him in a voluntary way to please Him.

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is free will. Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of free will. Where is free will then? If I act only one sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will." (Philosophy Discussions, Rene Descartes)

Srila Prabhupada – "So everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that you cannot become fall down, that is not independence. That is force." (Mayapur, June 20, 1973)

Having "free will" (freedom of thoughts and actions to serve Krsna) is the eternal constitutional make up of every "marginal living entity (individual jiva-soul)," and is the foundation that begins all the jiva-soul's interactions with Krsna.

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will!" (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Srila Prabhupāda - "There is also spiritual bodily form, just like this material body is compared with the dress. Now, just like in your present material form you have got hand; therefore your coat has got hand. You have got legs; therefore your pant has got legs. Therefore, it is to be assumed that the spirit soul always has got form and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. The individual spirit soul is not formless; it has got form. But with our material eyes at the present, gross eyes, we cannot find it; therefore we say and foolishly believe it has no form." (Lecture BG, Ch 2 text 14, Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Devotee – "Is the original body of the spirit soul a human form?"

Srila Prabhupada – "Yes, human form, God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form. Here you see Krsna, two hands, two legs."

Srila Prabhupada - "Not in the spiritual world, there that is always voluntary, some devotees want to serve Krsna as flower; so they become flower there. If I want that, to be a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna, then he become flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, as flagpole, as chariot, as chair or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable, yet a fact." (SB, Canto 6 Ch 1 text 1-4, Melb, Australia May 20, 1975)

The individual jiva-soul in its full spiritual potential is not some impersonal formless spark dormant or inactive in Krsna's Bodily effulgence (the impersonal inactive aspect of the brahmajyoti). The eternal original natural of the individual jiva-souls is to be always voluntary active in Krsna's service and pastimes as explained above.

Srila Prabhupada – “The human form is the full manifestation of the jiva-soul.” (Melb, Australia May 20, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada - "The individual jiva-soul is not formless; it has got form, the spirit soul always has form and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. But with our material eyes at the present, our gross eyes, we cannot see these facts; therefore we foolishly believe the jiva-souls have no form." (Lecture BG, Ch 2 text 14, Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Devotee - "What is the form of the spiritual body. If the spirit soul is non-material, what is the form?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "There is spiritual bodily form, just like this material body is compared with the dress. Now, just like in your present material form you have got hand; therefore your coat has got hand. You have got legs; therefore your pant has got legs. Therefore it is to be assumed that the spirit soul always has got form, and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. The spirit soul is not formless; it has got form. But with our material eyes at the present, gross eyes, we cannot find it; therefore we say and foolishly believe it has no form." (Lecture BG, Ch 2 text 14, Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Krsna allows the eternal individual jiva-souls (devotees) in the spiritual world to continually re-invent themselves by voluntarily serving in a capacity they choose by making their own unique contributions and offerings.

This allows diversity and an unlimited range of variegatedness in the devotee's personal service to Krsna that is forever expanding their progressive independent contributions in the Kingdom of God (Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana) infinitely expanding their voluntary participation, personal contributions and inspiration in an unlimited variety of unique ways serving and associating with Krsna in His never ending expanding blissful pastimes (lilas)

Krsna allows the individual jiva-souls (His devotees) to have their "free will" because He wants to see unique voluntary independent self expressions of voluntary love towards Him from His devotee's personal choices with their own unique thoughtful contributions on their own. Krsna wants His devotees to voluntarily be personally creative in their independent offerings, friendship and service to Him.

In other words, Kṛṣṇa wants a "two-sided" open reciprocal cooperative contributing relationship of loving exchanges with His intimate devotees, where they can voluntarily express themselves as they choose, in their own unique way, as separate independent individuals from Krsna, yet simultaneously fully dependent on Him due to being His parts and parcels.

The devotees of Krsna should never surrender to a mindless puppetry “one-sided" dominating impersonal dictatorship, where you are ordered how to think and how to act without being encouraged to voluntarily think for yourselve by providing your own unique personal contributions.

Such a nonsense “one-sided” relationship is a loveless dictatorship and impersonalism that denies individual self expression!

As said above, real love (service) is voluntary and can never exist on a “one-way" path because love can only exists when "two" are involved in voluntary reciprocal contributing loving exchanges.

Love can never exist with just one there must be two reciprocating with each other, only then does loving exchanges have meaning.

Krsna always wants a "two-way" contributing open relationship with His devotees, therefore He always encourages self expression and unique personal contributions from His devotees that make the relationship a "two-sided" exchange of loving emotions.

The relationship with Krsna must be this way because love can never be experienced with just one, as said above, there must two in an open "two-sided" reciprocal relationship of mutual returns and voluntary cooperation.

Krsna allows free will (voluntary self-expression) so His devotees can experience their own unique individuality and make their own unique offerings (contributions) to Him in a way that forever expands loving exchanges and reciprocation in a "two-way" relationship between Kṛṣṇa and His devotees which is never a "one-sided" affair in a non-contributing loveless dictatorship.

Free will only exists fully in the spiritual world of the Vaikuntha planets and Goloka-Vrindavana (the Kingdom of God) and not in the temporary material world when housed in a material bodily vessel.

Loving exchanges are always expressed unrestricted in the spiritual world by the individual jiva-souls (devotees) in their full bodily spiritual potential with voluntary contributions and cooperation in a "two-sided" unique relationship with Krsna eternally*/*
