The fact is, human society at the present moment is NOT in the darkness of oblivion.

Even though Srila Prabhupada also made many doom and gloom comments about modern society, such as World War 3 (1974) etc.

Prabhupada was really telling us that this temporary decaying material creation is NOT our real home, and we should prepare ourselves to get out of this material creation as soon as we can, and go back home back to Godhead.

Srila Prabhupada also made POSITIVE comments about preaching and how Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's Movement will SAVE the world, totally opposite to those doom and gloom comments claiming we will see in our life time the total collapse of Society.

I do NOT believe or accept those comments, and here is why in Prabhupada's own words-

Srila Prabhupada - "The human society, at the present moment, is NOT in the darkness of oblivion. It has made rapid progress in the field of material comforts of life, education and economic development of the entire world.

But it suffers a pin-prick somewhere in the social body at large and therefore there is large scale quarrel even on less important issues. Therefore there is the want of the clue as to how they can become one in peace, friendship and prosperity by the common cause.

Srimad Bhagavatam will fill up this gap by ontological aspect of human education. It is therefore a cultural presentation for re-spiritualisation of the entire human society." (ŚB, Preface)

Actually I was in Prabhupada's room when he explained the nature of the material world is ALWAYS in a state of decay and decline, no, it will NOT finish in our life time.

I'm in my 70s now, Prabhupada said that 50 years ago and the world is a lot better than it was in the 1970s, way better now!!.

Today we can preach all over Russia unlike what we could do in the 1970s.

Even in the a world wide pandemic, the world today in 2021 is far better than instability of the 1970s

Prabhupada said by the strength of Sankirtan we CAN change the Soviet Union, and that will change the world for better - and that has happened!!

In different morning walks and room conversations Prabhupada said so many things, but also made many possitive comments too totally opposite to those doom and gloom comments he made, I was there.

Ask Ramsevara, some very pessimistic doom and gloom comments he foolishly claims was made to him, but later Prabhupada added to us he was simply making the point NOTHING is permanent in this material world, everything is in a constant state of decomposition.

AND OUR SANKIRTAN MOVEMENT AND BOOK DISTRIBUTION CAN SPIRITUALISE OUR SOCIETY.

What Prabhupada said to Ramesvara I do NOT accept.

Ramesvara's "rant" is not on database because their is no recording, just his doom and gloom speculation.

But Prabhupada also told us, WAY BEYOND the "dreaded" comments he made to Ramesvara on the way to Kumba Mela, and to the devotees on that World War 3 prediction tape that our preaching CAN save the world.

And he said it will begin by being accepted in the Soviet block, that happened in 1988 and today ISKCON is booming throughout Russia, Ukraine, Poland, etc.

No, the world will NOT collapse, a population of nearly 8 billion world wide is there for a reason-

The Golden Age of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu has already begun.

THE WORLD WILL "NOT COLLAPSE" IN OUR LIFE TIME OR OUR CHILDREN'S LIFE TIME.

It is therefore a cultural presentation for re-spiritualisation of the entire human society." (Śrīmad Bhāgavatam Preface)
