Krsna's promise in the Bhagavad Gita is that the jiva-souls will never fall down from the spiritual world however, do the jiva-souls have a say in this, too? Prabhupada explains below.

Krsna's promise in the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, is that the jiva-souls will never again fall down to the material creation; once they have returned back home, back to Godhead.

So do the jiva-souls have to accept that promise from Krsna as final, or can they leave Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana anytime they choose?

In Bhagavad Gita As It Is, Krsna promises the jiva-souls they will never again fall down from Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana and enter the material creation, and yes, Krsna will always keep His promise!

However, Krsna's promise of the jiva-souls never again falling down to the material creation once in Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana is from Krsna' point of view.

So, do the jiva-souls also have a choice to accept Krsna's promise, or can they reject it if they choose?

In other words, does this mean the jiva-souls have no choice and can never choose to leave Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana, even if they want to leave?

Krsna's promise, confirmed by many past Acharays who agree that once the jiva-souls reach Vaikuntha, never again fall down to the material world, is true for most souls, but not all of them, less than 10% again do fall down again Prabhupada has explained.

Those who always quote Krsna's promise from Bhagavad Gita are right for the majority of jiva-souls, which is about 90% in Vaikuntha, and Goloka Vrindavana because they choose to never fall down again or leave Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana to enter the material creation.

But not all souls think that way; less than 10% do reject Krsna's promise.

This is because each jiva-soul has their own free will of independent thinking; this means it is their choice to stay or leave and not just Krsnas.

Otherwise, there is no meaning to free will.

This means Krsna's promise is not the final say or absolute law with all jiva-souls because they all have free will to make their choice, too.

Srila Prabhupada explains Krsna's promise and gives the proper explanation in full, saying a small minority of jiva-souls do choose to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana and puts that figure at less than 10%.

So why do some jiva-souls fall down?

To understand this, one must realize that, ultimately, love is not just a one-way street or a dictatorship of just obeying without voluntary personal contributions.

Real love and service are based on reciprocation and loving exchanges between two, not just one, meaning not just only Krsna.

Therefore, we must not forget that the jiva-souls also have their right of self-expression too, which means they have their individual choices of how they want to uniquely contribute to their relationship with Krsna, expressed from their point of view.

This is because love is always based on reciprocation, on a two-way street between two, and not just one or dominated by only Krsna, no, Krsna never demands that type of impersonal surrender from His devotees, where one just obeys with personal contributions to the relationship with Krsna.

Only impersonalists preach that surrender means giving up free will, individuality, and extinguishing your unique personality, and that everyone should become little Krsna imitaters.

It is a fact Krsna can do anything He wants to do however, if Krsna forced His will and complete dominance on the individual jiva-souls, then how can the jiva-souls express themselves as independent person's who offer their own contributions to Krsna?

With such freedom, the jiva-souls are no better than dead stone Prabhupada tells us.

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. Do you want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life." (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Such one-way control by this kind of God will only destroy the jiva-soul's independent ability of voluntary self-expression and unique individuality.

Denying the jiva-souls, their natural eternal constitutional right of self-expression and free will (freedom) is impersonalism.

If Krsna did force His will and forced the jiva-souls to love Him, then how can that be real genuine love as Prabhupada explains?

Srila Prabhupada - "Love is a reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force, no, Krsna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!" (Washington DC July 8, 1976)

By promising that Krsna will never let the jiva-souls fall down, by keeping them in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana, can be seen as interfering with the free will, independence and individuality of the jiva-soul.

This is because the jiva-souls are entitled to having their own choices of how to serve Krsna too, or even reject Krsna if they choose, meaning they must be allowed to leave anytime they like, otherwise what is the point of free will?

The fact is Krsna will never make that decision for the jiva-souls; they must voluntarily choose for themselves; otherwise, free will is violated.

There can be no question of love if the jiva-souls have no right to choose for themselves.

Devotee - "Srila Prabhupada, why did Krsna give us free will if He knew we would miss use it?"

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, you are a stone. Do you want to be stone? Then you must have free will!" (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Free will is something never acquired, nor ever given up or surrendered in the spiritual world as ignorant fools believe, free will is eternally part and parcel of the jiva-souls (marginal living entities) natural constitution and therefore always exists without beginning or end on the spiritual planets.

However, free will, in its full potential, is only fully experienced in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan, which is the jiva-souls original perpetual home from where they originated from.

Ultimately in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana, it is also the jiva's choice of how to serve and not just Krsna's because He  wants loving servants who choose to be with Him through their own free will and personal offerings, to serve and love Him voluntarily.

Not forced to serve Him by saying once you are in Goloka Vrindavana, never again will you fall down.

No, that is not Krsna's call, it is not His choice alone, it is also the jiva-soul's choice to remain there as a servant of the servant as weĺl, or even leave if they choose to.

The relationship between servant and Master is never one-way; it is a perpetual relationship based on reciprocation and loving exchanges between two.

The promise by Krsna that the jiva-souls will never again fall down into the material world, is from His point of view as explained above however, the jiva-souls can reject His offer if they choose, otherwise there is no meaning to having free will.

Ultimately, it is not only Krsna's will and complete control that determines loving exchanges; no, it is a joint participation between the jiva-souls and Krsna.

The spiritual worlds are not dictatorships where one is a yes man or women who are denied and personal contributions or offerings.

Over 90% of jiva-souls do choose to accept Krsna's promise and never again leave the spiritual worlds, but even that can change because free will is eternal.

The fact is, there are no guarantees that the jiva-souls will never fall down to the material creation.

As said above, only less than 10% do choose to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana, and that is their right.

Srila Prabhupada - "Independence means you can do this, you can do that, all right, whatever you like; otherwise, there is no meaning of independence."(Discussions with Syamasundara and Henri Bergson)

Sadly, many can not understand these words from Srila Prabhupada  and still foolishly claim that once they reach the spiritual world, they never again fall down because Krsna will not allow them to fall down.

If true, then that means Krsna takes away the jiva-soul's free will in Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana, which is simply not true.

The reason why is because all each jiva-soul is an independent individual person with 78.125% of Krsna's qualities and have their own personality separate from Krsna's Personality. This means having their own unique independent identity.

Devotee – "In Srimad Bhagavatam, it says that Krsna did not want us to come to this material world. If Krsna did not want us to come, why are we here?” Why doesn’t He save me from thinking like that?”

Srila Prabhupada - “That means you lose your independence. That is force, in Bengali it is said, ‘If you catch one girl or boy, ‘You love me, you love me, you love me.’ ” Is it love? “You love me, otherwise I will kill you!’ Is that love? So Krsna does not want to become a lover like that, on the point of revolver. ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!’ That is not love; that is threatening. Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force; that is rape. Why one is called lover, another is called rape?” (July 8, 1976 in Washington, D.C).

The jiva-souls in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana are forever expanding their expression of individuality with personal offerings based on free will and voluntary selfless reciprocation with Krsna, it is never a one-sided relationship with the Krsna.

Real love, bhakti or devotional service is reciprocal, as said above, it is never a one-way street where surrender to Krsna takes away one's sense of self, individuality, and personal contributions.

This is important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique personality and characteristics that they only have, that is part and parcel of each individual marginal living entities make up as the independent unique person they are eternally.

Srila Prabhupada - “Because you are Son of God, you have got independence, full independence; therefore, you have acquired the quality of your father. So God does not interfere with your independence." (Conversation Melbourne, Australia June 25, 1974)

Acyutananda – “In the Bhagavat Gita it says, 'Once the jiva-soul enters to the spiritual world, he never again returns to the material creation', but you say he can return?”

Srila Prabhupada – “If he likes, he can return."

Guru-kripa – “How is it that one can become envious of Krsna?”

Srila Prabhupada – “You have got little independence; you can violate. Because you are part and parcel of God. God has got full independence, but you have got independence too, proportionately, because you are part and parcel, so if he likes, he can return. That independence has to be accepted. We can misuse that. Krishna-bahirmukha haïä bhoga väïchä kare. That misuse is the cause of our falldown."(Conversation, Mayapur, February 19, 1976)

Free will for the jiva-souls is eternal in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan and without this freedom of choosing to either serve Krsna, or forget Krsna, then there is no question of have freedom (free will) in the spiritual worlds.

Without free will, the jiva-souls would have no individuality, no sense of self, no independent personality, and no ability to love. The jiva-souls would simply be no better than dead stone Prabhupada has said above.

Srila Prabhupada - “So everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, or one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that you cannot fall down, that is not independence, that is force. Therefore, Krsna says, yathecchasi tathä kuru. “Now you do whatever you like.” (Los Angeles, June 23, 1975)

For loving devotion to truly exist with the marginal living entity and Krsna, the jiva-souls must have the right to even choose to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana at anytime if they want, therefore returning home back to Godhead is not necessarily permanent Prabhupada explains here-

Srila Prabhupada – “You have got little independence; therefore, you can violate. Because you are part and parcel of God, you have independence, proportionately; therefore, if he likes, he can return. That independence has to be accepted, with little independence. We can misuse that." (Conversation, Mayapur, February 19, 1976)

Syamasundara - "But can we predict returning back home back to Godhead will be permanent? Can we predict that? Just like many prisoners leave the prison

some end up back there?''

Srila Prabhupada - "No, there is no such thing as permanent because we have got little independence. There is nothing permanent because you can misuse your independence at any time."

Syamasundara - "And some come back?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Yes, otherwise there is no meaning of independence. Independence means you can do this; you can do that. All right. Whatever you like."

Devotee - "Then he is so many times falling down, again and again, so will he eventually permanently come back?"

Srila Prabhupada - "He has got independence; therefore, there is always the possibility he can misuse his independence. he can fall again if he wants; that choice is always there. That's why when a man is released from the prison house, that does not mean it is permanent because he can again come back however, the general law is not to come back, but if he likes, he can come back, otherwise what is the meaning of having independence and free will? Just like one becomes free from the prison house, naturally, he should not go there again." (Discussions with Syamasundara > Henri Bergson).^^^..

Krsna as His original Form, never leaves Goloka-Vrindavana the perpetual Kingdom of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

Krsna as His original Form, NEVER leaves Goloka-Vrindavana.

The Krsna that does come to the material universe, is actually a Visnu-tattva expansion from the original "two-armed" Krsna, who plays the part of the original childhood Krsna and enters the material creation.

Only in the facsimile version of the original Vrndavana in the spiritual world, transferred to the material world, does Visnu, in the form of Krsna, kills demons.

As said above, in the original  Goloka-Vrindavana with the original Krsna, there are no demons, not even rumors of demons because Vaikuntha means one is free from all anxiety.

Only in the material creation do demons exist who are killed not by Krsna directly, but by His Visnu-tattva expansion "playing the part of the original Krsna" in the material creation.

Srila Prabhupada - "Kṛṣṇa as His original childhood form NEVER leaves Vṛndāvana, all the forms of Kṛṣṇa that appear elsewhere are His Viṣṇu-tattva expansions." (BG As It Is Ch 10 text 37)

Srila Prabhupada - "The original Lord Kṛṣṇa never leaves Goloka Vṛndāvana. All the plenary expansions are one and the same Viṣṇu-tattva, and there is no difference in Their potency." (SB Canto 3 Ch 1 Text 34)

Srila Prabhupada - "Kṛṣṇa is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, and Baladeva (Balarama) is Kṛṣṇa's immediate expansion. Because Kṛṣṇa NEVER leaves Vṛndāvana, all the forms of Kṛṣṇa that appear elsewhere are His expansions." (BG, As It Is Ch 10 Text 37)

Kṛṣṇa’s first expansion is Balarama and from Balarama ALL Visnu-tattva expansions manifest.

When the "original" Krsna wants to enter the material creation to perform His pastimes in the Vrindavana (facsimile) of the spiritual world, His Visnu-tattva expansion, coming from Balarāma, performs those Kṛṣṇa pastimes or lilas.

In other words, because the original Kṛṣṇa NEVER leaves Vṛndāvana, His Visnu-tattva expansion coming from Balarāma, plays the part of the original Kṛṣṇa in the material creation that includes killing demons there.

Krsna is the origin of all Narayana/Visnu forms of God, who are expansions of Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes.

The "original" Krsna eternally resides in His personal abode known as Goloka-Vrindavana, and NEVER leaves.

Krsna is the original source of all Narayana or Visnu forms who are all His expansions residing in unlimited Vaikuntha planets that surround His central abode of Goloka-Vrindavana.

Krsna further expands, via His first Visnu-tattva expansion, Balarama, as Maha-Visnu (Karanodakshayi Visnu) who creates and manages the unlimited material universes called Brahmandas.

As said above, Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, who resides in His personal abode known as Goloka-Vrindavan and NEVER leaves.

However, Krsna is the original source of all Narayana or Visnu forms of God, who are all His expansions that reside in unlimited Vaikuntha planets that surround His central abode of Goloka-Vrindavana.

In actual fact, the Krsna who comes to the material creation, expands as a Visnu-tattva form from Balarāma who is Krsna's first expansion.

Therefore, Krsna first expands as Balarama, then Balarāma expands as all the other Visnu-tattva expansions, including Visnu playing the part of the original Krsna when Krsna enters the facsimile of the original Vrindavana within the material world.

In other words, the Krsna who enters the material manifestation is really a Visnu-tattva "four armed" form, who plays the part of the original "two-armed" childhood Krsna in the spiritual world.

From the original Krsna, who is always in Goloka-Vrindavana and NEVER leaves, Krsna expands as His Visnu-tattva expansions via Balarama and enters the Vaikuntha planets, and then the material creation first as Mahā-Viṣṇu.

Krsna enters the material creation via His first Visnu-tattva expansion, Balarama, who is Maha-Visnu (Karanodakshayi Visnu)

Maha-Visnu creates and manages the unlimited material universes called Brahmandas.

These unlimited number of Brahmandas, coming from the Body of Maha-Visnu's pores and breathing, are massive individual material universes made up of 7 material qualities, both subtle and gross material elements.

And all Brahmanda universes have a secondary material inner universe deep each Brahmanda, where Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Brahma and many planetary systems exist.

Each massive Brahmanda material universe covers, encases and surrounds this inner smaller secondary material universe deep inside them with 7 layers of material qualities.

Maha-Visnu expands again as Garbhodakashayi Visnu who creates this secondary material universe deep inside of the Brahmanda.

And from Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Brahma manifests who creates the different planetary systems within each inner material universe that spread out as a flat looking disc made up of many spherical planets that spread out as individual global planets to nearly the edge of this inner single material universe, as explained in Srimad Bhagavatam.

Because of the massive solid material elements of the Brahmanda, no one inside this inner material universe can see outside of their own inner universe Srimad Bhagavatam explains.

This means from within our small material universe inside our Brahmanda, we cannot see the billions of other Brahmanda's around it.

Deep inside each Brahmanda, each of their Brahmas create the different planetary systems, our universe inside our Brahmanda, our Brahma builds 14 planetary systems.

Each inner material universe within their Brahmanda has a different number of planetary systems according to their size.

Karanodakshayi Visnu (Maha-Visnu) is actually sleeping and is always DREAMING the activities within each of the secondary material universes deep within the unlimited number of Brahmandas.

Those dreams Maha-Visnu has, are all the activities happening within each of the Garbhodakashayi Visnu's secondary universes.

In painting below Karanodakshayi Visnu (Maha-Visnu) is seen laying down sleeping and Garbhodakashayi Visnu is seen within each Brahmanda.

When Maha-Visnu dreams, He first creates the entire material universe known as the Maha-tattva (matter) which takes up 25% of the Spiritual Sky or Brahmajyoti.

The other 75% is the active personal "spiritual world" (anti-matter) that is ever fresh, always youthful and never ending, known as the perpetual Vaikuntha planets of Visnu and Krsna's central abode of Goloka-Vrindavan.

Within Maha-Visnu's 25% of the Spiritual Sky called the temporary material creation, we find is always in a state of decay, decline, impermanence.

It is where jiva-souls who have chosen to enter the material creation, are forced into repeated birth and death because of the temporary nature of the material creation, forced to possess (or take) temporary material bodily vessels or containers.

The visiting jiva-souls in the material creation are forced to take repeated births again and again because the material bodies they are in eventually wear out, get old, break down and cease to operate.

So lets make it clear -

1 - Within this temporary material creation, we find unlimited individual massive single Brahmanda universes coming from the Body of Maha-Visnu.

2 - And deep inside each of those massive Brahmanda universes, there is a secondary smaller universe where Maha-Visnu expands Himself as Garbhodakashayi Visnu.

3 - And from Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Lord Brahma appears from His naval at the top of a lotus flower.

4 - Then Lord Brahma builds the many planetary systems inside each of the inner secondary material universes deep inside their individual Brahmanda.

There is only one Maha-Visnu in the material creation yet an unlimited number of Garbhodakashayi Visnus and Lord Brahmas.

Also it is important to understand, the amount of planetary systems deep inside each Brahmanda, vary in size, some larger and some smaller than others.

Our material universe within our Brahmanda has 14 planetary systems and is considered a small universe explained in Bhagavatam as 4 billion miles in diameter.

Some Vedic Cosmologists think this figure of 4 billion miles in diameter describing our material universe inside our Brahmanda, is a way too small of a figure for the real size of our small material universe.

Some Vedic scholars suggest the figure of "4 billion miles" or "500,000,000 yojanas", as decribed in the 5th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, is really a code that needs decoding because they claim just our Solar System is said to be 24 billion miles in diameter.

Another answer is measurement can be different on the different planetary systems, just like the fabric of space-time measurement is also different in each of the planetary systems.

For example, 100 years on the Brahmaloka planet, the highest planetary system in our material universe, is 311 trillion and 40 billion human years long.

So, there maybe far more to this figure in Srimad Bhagavatam  that claims our material universe is just 4 billion miles in diameter.

Other universes inside their Brahmanda, have many more planetary systems than just 14 and are therefore much bigger than 4 billion miles in diameter.

The fact is, the size of each Brahmanda and their inner universe, depends on the how many heads Lord Brahma has.

Some Lord Brahmas, like ours, has only 4 heads, while other Brahma's within their universe inside their Brahmanda, may have 10, 20, 50, 500, 1000, 100,000 or even a million or more heads.

In this way, all the unlimited number of Brahmanda universes coming from the Body of the sleeping Maha-Visnu (as seen in painting below), have a secondary inner universe deep inside them as seen painting below.

Each massive Brahmanda universe has 7 material coverings or layers that surround and encase each of the inner secondary material universe.

This means the massive Brahmanda surrounding its inner secondary universe within, is 44 quadrillion 444 trillion 444 billion miles in diameter or bigger.

The full size of the Brahmanda if that measurement above is from the outer edge of the inner secondary universe, is actually twice that size.

The sleeping Maha-Visnu (Karanadakashayi Visnu) expands Himself into the inner secondary universe deep inside each Brahmanda, as Garbhodakashayi Visnu.

This secondary material universe is in the centre of each massive Brahmanda universe.

In Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhu-Mandala is the “earth mandala” (not to be confused with our small earth globe), it is a disk 500 million yojanas in diameter (4 billion miles in diameter)

One yojanas is equal to 8 miles in diameter.

The word ''earth'' has many explanations, for example, our small earth global round sphere is only 24,901 miles in circumference and is 7,917.5 miles in diameter, it is NOT Bhu-Mandala.

Bhu-Mandala is 500 million yojanas in diameter (4 billion miles in diameter or 12.6 billion miles in circumference).

As said above, a yojana is a unit of distance about 8 miles long, and so the diameter of Bhu-Mandala is about 4 billion miles, which is the size of our single material universe.

Our earth is NOT flat! It is a round global sphere.

Srila Prabhupada - "On the ground our earth looks flat but when you go up you will see our Earth planet is a ball. " (Lecture New York City, Dec 1966.)

The Sanskrit word "dvīpa" has two meanings.

1 - "Islands" or "continents" on a Planet.

2 - "Globes or spheres" in outer space.

Bhu-Mandala is marked by circular features designated as islands (dvipas that can also mean planets) and oceans.

Srila Prabhupada -"The "planets" are called "dvīpas". Outer space is like an ocean of air. Just as there are islands in the watery ocean, these planets in the ocean of space are called dvīpas, or islands in outer space." (CC, Madhya 20.218, Purport)

Therefore Bhu-Mandala is far too big to be our small earth globe.

But this does describe our small single universe with its 14 planetary systems deep within our surrounding Brahmanda.

Therefore the 14 planetary Systems deep within our surrounding Brahmanda, would therefore fit in the circumference of Bhu-Mandala (4 billion miles (500,000,000 yojanas) in diameter)

The jiva-soul can stay for an almost eternity in the temporary decaying material universes cycles of annihilation and creation if they choose.

When Lord Brahma dies after 100 of his years (311 trillion and 40 billion human years), there is an equal period of his life span of 311 trillion, 40 billion human years where nothing living exists, everything in the material universe remains dormant for that enormous amount of time in the Body of Maha-Visnu.

Then the next material creation of Brahmanda's manifest from Maha-Visnu (Karanadakashayi Visnu)

All jiva-souls have merged as "individual units" into the Body of Karanadakashayi Visnu (Maha-Visnu) and remain that way until the next creation of Brahmandas when they again manifest from Maha-Visnu's spiritual Body as seen in painting below.

In other words, in the next new creation of Brahmandas coming from the Body of Maha-Visnu, all the dormant jiva-souls awaken and continue on again within a secondary universe that is deep inside each Brahmanda outer universe, from where they left off in the previous inner material universe.

As explained, a secondary smaller universe is deep within each of the massive surrounding Brahmanda universes.

Our Brahma lives for 311 trillion and 40 billion human years, (100 year life span of Lord Brahma)

It is important to understand at the annihilation of each Brahmanda universe and its inner secondary universe, Garbhodakashayi Visnu temporarily merges back to be one with Maha-Visnu until the next Brahmanda universes aew manifest from the breathing and pores of Maha-Visnu.

Then the process repeats itself, the sleeping Maha-Visnu (Karanadakashayi Visnu) expands Himself into the inner secondary universe that is deep inside each Brahmanda as Garbhodakashayi Visnu that is in the centre of each Brahmanda universe.

The jiva-souls are suspended in ''inactivity'' (dormant) within the Body of Karanadakashayi Visnu (Maha-Visnu) for 311 trillion 40 billion human years.

The jiva-souls re-emerge and continue on (their karma) from where they left off in the previous creation..*×*..

Beautiful Krishna

Beautiful Lord Krishna.

Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, and the original source of all Vishnu and Narayana expansions of God (Vishnu-tattva Forms)

Krishna as His original Form, NEVER leaves Vrindavana in the Spiritual World.

However, when Krishna does come to the material creation, He comes via His Vishnu-tattva expansion who plays the role of Krishna in His original form.

Although this Krishna in the material creation is really a Vishnu-tattva expansion of the original Krishna who NEVER leaves Goloka-Vrindavana.

Did you know that Lord Krishna as His original childhood form, NEVER leaves Vrindavana.

Therefore, when Krishna comes to this material world for His childhood pastimes, it is His Vishnu expansion who play's the role of Krishna as the paintings reveal.

Srila Prabhupada -  "Because Kṛṣṇa never leaves Vṛndāvana, all the forms of Kṛṣṇa that appear elsewhere are His expansions. Vāsudeva is Kṛṣṇa's immediate expansion, so Vāsudeva is not different from Kṛṣṇa.

It is to be understood that the Vāsudeva referred to in this verse of Bhagavad-gītā is Baladeva, or Balarāma, because He is the original source of all incarnations and thus He is the sole source of Vāsudeva.

The immediate expansions of the Lord are called svāṁśa (personal expansions), and there are also expansions called vibhinnāṁśa - separated expansions. (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 Text 2 Purport)

Srila Prabhupada- "The original Lord Kṛṣṇa never leaves Goloka Vṛndāvana.

All the plenary expansions are one and the same Viṣṇu-tattva, and there is no difference in Their potency. (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 Chapter 1 Text 34 Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "Because Mathurā and Vṛndāvana are intimately connected with Kṛṣṇa eternally, it is said that Lord Kṛṣṇa NEVER leaves Vṛndāvana (vṛndāvanaṁ parityajya padam ekaṁ na gacchati).

Srila Prabhupada -  "Since that time, the city of Mathurā had been the capital of all the kings of the Yadu dynasty. The city and district of Mathurā are very intimately connected with Kṛṣṇa, for Lord Kṛṣṇa lives there eternally.

It is understood that Mathurā City is the transcendental abode of Lord Kṛṣṇa; it is not an ordinary material city, for it is eternally connected with the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Vṛndāvana is within the jurisdiction of Mathurā, and it still continues to exist.

At present, the place known as Vṛndāvana, in the district of Mathurā, continues its position as a transcendental place, and certainly anyone who goes there becomes transcendentally purified.

Navadvīpa-dhāma is also intimately connected with Vrajabhūmi. (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 10 Chapter 1 Text 28, Translation and Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "The great authority Śukadeva Gosvāmī remarks that Kṛṣṇa almost always passed His time with Rukmiṇī, and Rukmiṇī was a bit proud to be so fortunate that Kṛṣṇa NEVER left her even for a moment. (Krsna Book 60)

When Krishna enters the material creation for His Vrindavana pastimes, He does so as His Vishnu expansion who plays the role of Krishna, but only acting the part of Krishna in His original form.

However, Krishna, as His original bodily form, NEVER leaves Vrindavana in the Spiritual World.

This means He never enters the temporary material creation or the perpetual Vaikuntha Planets as His original form as explained above.

Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes and has 64 unique qualities in full or 100% of His own personal attributes that no other expansion (Vishnu-tattva) has.

Percentages of Krishna's 64 qualities that others have mathematically work out as -

Vishnu-tattva and Vishnu-sakti-tattva Forms of the Lord have 60 qualities.

Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

Krishna is the ORIGINAL Form of God from whom ALL His Vishnu and Narayana forms (Vishnu-tattva) expand from.

This means the only difference between Srimati Radharani (Vishnu-sakti-tattva expansion) and Lord Balarama (Vishnu-tattva expansion), is Lord Krishna IS the Supreme Personality of Godhead and ORIGINAL cause of all causes, and has 4 more qualities in full than both Radharani and Balarama.

Therefore, not even Srimati Radharani (Krishna's eternal consort) or Balarama (Krishna's older brother) have His 64 unique qualities in full like Krishna does, they only have 60 qualities which is 93.75% of Krishna's 64 qualities (that is His 100%).

Lets make this easy to understanding -

Lord Krishna has 64 qualities which is "exactly" 100% of those unique set qualities.

Vishnu-tattva has 60 qualities or "exactly" 93.75%

Vishnu-sakti-tattva also has 60 qualities 93.75%

Shiva-tattva has 54 qualities or "exactly" 84.375%

Jiva-tattva has 50 qualities or "exactly" 78.125%

Krishna Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes Krishna has all the following 64 transcendental qualities in their fullness.

In actual fact, the extent of His 64 transcendal qualities are inconceivable to even great Vaishnavas.

(1) Beautiful features of the entire body

(2) Marked with all auspicious characteristics

(3) Extremely pleasing

(4) Effulgent

(5) Strong

(6) Ever youthful

(11) Highly learned

(12) Highly intelligent

(13) Genius

(14) Artistic

(15) Extremely clever

(16) Expert

(17) Grateful

(18) Firmly determined

(19) An expert judge of time and circumstances.

(20) Sees and speaks on the authority of Vedas, or scriptures

(21) Pure

(22) Self-controlled

(23) Steadfast

(24) Forbearing

(25) Forgiving

(26) Grave

(27) Self-satisfied

(32) Compassionate

(33) Respectful

(34) Gentle

(35) Liberal

(36) Shy

(37) The protector of surrendered souls

(38) Happy

(39) The well-wisher of devotees

(40) Controlled by love

(41) all-auspicious

(42) Most powerful

(43) all-famous

(46) Very attractive to all women

(47) all-worship able

(48) all-opulent

(49) all-honourable

(50) The supreme controller.

(51) Changeless

(52) all-cognizant

(53) Ever fresh

(54) sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (possessing an eternal blissful body)

(55) Possessing all mystic perfections.

Krishna also possesses five other qualities, which are manifest in the body of Narayana/Vishnu, and they are listed as follows:

(56) He has inconceivable potency.

(57) Uncountable universes generate from His body.

(58) He is the original source of all incarnations.

(59) He is the giver of salvation to the enemies whom He kills.

(60) He is the attractor of liberated souls.

Besides these sixty transcendental qualities, Krishna has four more, which are not manifested even in the Vishnu/Narayana form of Godhead, what to speak of the demigods or living entities.

They are as follows:

(61) He is the performer of wonderful varieties of pastimes (especially His childhood pastimes).

(62) He is surrounded by devotees endowed with wonderful love of Godhead.

(63) He can attract all living entities all over the universes by playing on His flute.

(64) He has a wonderful excellence of beauty which cannot be rivaled anywhere in the creation.

Besides all of the above-mentioned qualities that Lord Krishna possesses, sometimes they may partially manifest in Radharani and Balarama, but never in full.

The Absolute Truth is anandamaya (desiring to increase His joy), hence from His original form He expands and becomes many.

These emanations from the Supreme Person are of two categories: full expansions and partially manifested expansions.

The Lord's various full and partial expansions and the Lord Himself simultaneously co-exist, only appearing to manifest under the influence of time.

These expansions of the Supreme Being are known as Vishnu-tattva, and they are also Supreme Absolute Truth.

While non-different from the Lord, the Vishnu-tattvas all accept their own role as Godhead in the mood of Servitor to the "original" Supreme Being.

This relationship is the foundation of Vedic monotheism, which encompasses the inconceivable, absolute personal nature of the original Godhead.

The Supreme Being Lord Krishna has three other expansive qualities known as Vishnu-sakti-tattva, Shiva-tattva and jiva-tattva.

Together with Vishnu-tattva, these expansions represent the internal marginal energies while Shiva-tattva is in a unique league of his own.

The Lord has expands Himself as all living entities, like Sunrays emanate from the Sun.

Lord Siva (84.375%) is between Vishnu-tattva (93.75%) and jiva-tattva (78. 124%)

Vishnu-tattva, Vishnu-sakti-tattva and jiva-tattva are different expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Vishnu-tattva and Vishnu-sakti-tattva are full expansion who ARE Krishna playing another role.

The jiva-tattva on the other hand, is more independent with the qualities of individuality and free will and have their own unique personality and character, yet a limited expansion.

Therefore we can summarize as

Lord Krishna. 64 qualities or 100%

Vishnu tattva and Vishnu-sakti-tattvs. 60 qualities or 93.75%

Shiva tattva. 54 qualities or 84.375%

Jiva tattva. 50 qualities or 78.125%

This is the reason why Krishna is called Param Purushottam, Purnavatar or Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Reference from (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.3.29):

Learned scholars in transcendental subjects have carefully analyzed the summum bonum Krsna to have sixty-four principal attributes.

All the expansions or categories of the Lord possess only some percentages of these 64 attributes, but Sri Krsna is the possessor of all the 64 attributes.

And His personal expansions such as svayam-prakasa, tad-ekatma up to the categories of the avataras who are all visnu-tattva, possess up to 93.75% of these transcendental attributes.

Lord Siva, who is neither avatara nor avesa, possesses almost 84.375% of Krishna's attributes.

But the jivas, or the individual living beings in different statuses of life, possess up to the limit of 78.125% percent of Krishna's attributes.

In the conditioned state of material existence, the living being possesses these attributes in very minute quantity, varying in terms of the pious life of the living being.

The most perfect of living beings is Brahma, the supreme administrator of one universe. He possesses seventy-eight percent of the attributes in full.

All other demigods have the same attributes in less quantity, whereas human beings possess the attributes in very minute quantity.

The standard of perfection for a human being is to develop the attributes up to seventy-eight percent in full. The living being can never possess attributes like Siva, Visnu or Lord Krsna.

A living being can become godly by developing the seventy-eight-percent transcendental attributes in fullness, but he can never become a God like Siva, Visnu or Krsna. He can become a Brahma in due course.

The godly living beings who are all residents of the planets in the spiritual sky are eternal associates of God in different spiritual planets called Hari-dhama and Mahesa-dhama.

The abode of Lord Krsna above all spiritual planets is called Krsnaloka or Goloka Vrndavana, and the perfected living being, by developing seventy-eight percent of the above attributes in fullness, can enter the planet of Krsnaloka after leaving the present material body...

Free will.

Free will.

Devotee - "Srila Prabhupada why did Krishna give us free will if He knew we would miss use it?"

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Free will is something never acquired, nor ever given up or surrendered in the Spiritual World as ignorant fools believe.

Free will is eternally part and parcel of the jiva souls (marginal living entities) natural constitution and therefore ALWAYS exists without beginning or end in the Spiritual Planets.

However, free will in its full potential, is ONLY fully experienced in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan, which is the jiva souls original perpetual home.

Only in the material creation is free will completely covered over restricted and suppressed by material nature and karma.

Losing one's free will (only covered over and never really lost) therefore is only experienced if the jiva soul foolishly chooses to enter the darkness of the material creation and be confined to temporary material bodily containers.

Therefore the jiva souls full Spiritual potential of being a free individual person in the Spiritual world serving Krishna, is mostly lost (forgotten) if they choose to enter the material creation.

All jiva souls originally HAVE free will as part of their perpetual constitution make up, but can be forgotten (not ever lost) if they choose to enter the material creation.

Therefore in the material creation, the jiva souls original expression of freedom (free will) becomes covered over, suppressed and forgotten and must be AGAIN revived so the jiva soul is reinstated to their original spiritual position.

This revival is only possible by the process of Krishna Consciousness under the guidance of a bonafide Spiritual Master.

Devotee – "In Srimad Bhagavatam, it says that Krishna did not want us to come to this material world. If Krishna did not want us to come, why are we here?” Why doesn’t He save me from thinking like that?”

Srila Prabhupada - “That means YOU lose your independence. That is force, in Bengali it is said, ‘If you catch one girl or boy, ‘You love me, you love me, you love me.’ ” Is it love? “You love me, otherwise I will kill you!’ Is that love? So Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, on the point of revolver.

The jiva souls in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana are forever expanding their expression of individuality with personal offerings based on free will and selfless loving reciprocation with Krishna, it is NEVER a one sided master/slave relationship with the God.

Srila Prabhupada - "Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force, no, Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!" (Washington DC July 8, 1976)

Real love or Bhakti is reciprocal, as said above, it is NEVER a one way street where surrender to Krishna takes away one's sense of self, individuality and personal contributions.

This is important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique personality and characteristics that THEY only have, that is part and parcel of each individual marginal living entities make up as the independent unique "person" they are eternally.

Srila Prabhupada - “Because you are Son of God you have got independence, full independence, therefore you have acquired the quality of your father. "So God does not interfere with your independence”. (Conversation Melbourne, Australia June 25, 1974)

Srila Prabhupada - "Unless there is the choice to misuse free will, then there is no question of free will.

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is free will. Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of free will. Where is free will then? If I act only one sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will."

Hayagriva - "A man may know better but still act wrongly".

Srila Prabhupada -"Yes".

Hayagriva - "Yes".

Srila Prabhupada - "But that is free will. He misuses his. Just like a thief, he knows that his stealing, it is bad, but still he does it. That is free will. He cannot check his greediness, so in spite of his knowing that he is doing wrong thing—he will be punished, he knows; he has seen another thief, he was punished, he was put into prison— everything he knows, but still he steals. Why? Misuse of free will. Unless there is misuse of free will, there is no question of free will. (Excerpt from: Philosophy Discussions with His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada – Rene Descartes)

In Bhagavad Gita As It Is Krishna promises the jiva-souls they will NEVER fall down from Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana to the material creation, and yes, Krishna will always keeps His promise!

However, Krishna's promise of NEVER falling down to the material creation once there, is from Krishna's point of view, so does the jiva soul also have to accept His promise as final? Do they also have a choice?

In other words, does this mean the jiva-souls have no choice and can NEVER "choose" to leave Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana even if they want to leave?

Krishna's promise, confirmed by many past Acharays who agree that once reaching Vaikuntha the jiva-soul will never again fall down to the material World, is true for most souls, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM.

Those great souls who quote Krishna's promise from Bhagavad Gita ARE right for the majority of jiva-souls, which is about 90% in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana who NEVER do fall down or leave to enter the material creation, but NOT all souls!

This is because each jiva-soul has THEIR own free will and independent thinking, this means it is THEIR choice if they stay or leave and NOT just Krishnas.

In other words, Krishna's promise is NOT binding or absolute law with all living entities because the jiva-souls have free will making it THEIR choice too.

Srila Prabhupada explains Krishna's promise and gives the proper explanation in full saying a small minority of jiva-souls do choose Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana and puts that figure at less than 10%.

So why do some souls fall down?

To understand this one must realize that ultimately LOVE is not just a one way street or dictatorship, it is based on reciprocation and loving exhanges between two, not just one meaning not just Krishna.

Therefore we must NOT forget the jiva-soul's right of expression too, the jiva-souls ALSO have THEIR choices and say too expressed from THEIR point of view.

This is because love is always based on reciprocation, a two way street between two.

Only impersonalists preach that "surrender" means giving up free will, individuality and that everyone should become little Krishna imitaters.

It is a fact Krishna can do anything He wants to do however, if Krishna forced His will and complete dominance on the jiva-souls, then they would be no better than dead stone Prabhupada tells us.

Such absolute one way control by this kind of God will only totally destroy the jiva-soul's independent expression of individuality and there natural eternal constitution right of self expression and free will (freedom).

And if Krishna DID force His will and FORCE the jiva-souls to love Him, then how can that be real genuine love as Prabhupada explains above.

By promising He will NEVER let the jiva-soul fall by forcing the jiva-soul to comply, can be seen as interfering with the free will and individuality of the jiva-soul.

This is because, they too are entitled to THEIR choice of serving or even not serving Krishna if they choose.

The fact is Krishna will NEVER make that decision for the jiva, otherwise one's sense of free will is violated, and there can be no question of love if the jiva-soul has no right to choose for themselves.

Ultimately in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana, it is also the jiva's choice of how to serve and NOT just Krishna's because He ONLY wants loving servants who "choose" to be with Him through their own free will and personal offerings, to serve and love Him voluntarily.

Not forced to serve Him by saying "once you are in Goloka Vrindavana, NEVER again will you fall down".

No, that is NOT Krishna's call, it is NOT His choice, it is also the jiva-soul's choice to REMAIN there as servant of the servant as weĺl, or even leave if they want to.

The relationship between servant and Master is NEVER oneway, it is perpetually relationship based on "reciprocation", based on loving exchanges between TWO.

The promise by Krishna that the jiva-soul will never again fall down into the material world, is from His point of view as explained above.

Ultimately it is NOT only Krishna's will and complete  control, no, it is a joint decision between the jiva-souls and Krishna.

The Spiritual Worlds are NOT dictatorships where one is a yes man or women denying their personal contributions and offerings.

And yes, over 90% of jiva-soul's do "choose" to accept Krishna's promise and NEVER leave the Spiritual Worlds.

This means less than 10% "do choose" to leave, and that is their right.

Sadly only immature sentimental fools cannot understand this fact regardless of who they are.

After all each jiva is an independent individual with 78.125% of Krishna's qualities and attributes with their own personality, sense of self and unique identity.*.

"SURRENDER PRABHU!!" - The proper mature understanding of "SURRENDER" and "FREE WILL in ISKCON.

The proper understanding of "SURRENDER" and "FREE WILL is NOT correctly understood and realized in both ISKCON and the Gaudiya Math.

Proper understanding in both ISKCON and the Gaudiya Math Sangas in these early Western World pioneering immature years.

Srila Prabhupada - "So, unless there is a possibility of misusing our free will, there is no question of freedom.” (Dialectical Spiritualism, Critique of Descartes)

These comments by Srila Prabhupada, very few properly understand.

Most foolishly believe to enter Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana, one must extinguish or surrender their free will "and become little Krishnas" LOL and just allow Krishna to completely control your every actions and thoughts.

Sadly most of these fool so called devotees do not even care to stop this nonsense impersonalism self denial and childish imitation.

This is because they enjoy having "mindless yes men and women" around them that these fools do the thinking for, and who just obey without question!

To these impersonalists in the dress of Vaishnavas, this blind mindless obedience is the meaning of surrender.

Many devotees today have absolutely no idea what "free will" really is or means, or what "surrender" really means including many naive arrogent gurus and sannyasis.

Sadly their ignorance and fanaticism is stagnating the advancement of ISKCON's Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu's great Sankirtan Movement.

Devotee - "Srila Prabhupada why did Krishna give us free will if He knew we would miss use it in the material world?"

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Free will is something never acquired, nor ever given up in the Spiritual World as these ignorant fools believe, FREE WILL is eternally part and parcel of the jiva souls (marginal living entities) natural constitution and therefore ALWAYS exists in the Spiritual Planets.

Therefore the jiva souls full Spiritual potential of being a free individual in the Spiritual world serving Krishna, is mostly lost if they choose to enter the material creation.

Acyutananda - ''So what made the soul take birth in the first place, what is the cause of the first birth in the material world?''.

Srila Prabhupada - ''Yes that is stated in the Prema-vivarta -"We are eternal servant of Krsna. As soon as we want to become master, that is the beginning of our first birth in the material world".

We have got independence. Krsna says, mamaivamso jiva bhutah—we are part and parcel of Krsna—so Krsna has got full independence, but we are minute; therefore we have got minute independence.

Our business is to serve Krsna, but as soon as we choose to give up this idea and want to become master, then that is the beginning of our material birth''. (Lecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam 5.5.2--Hyderabad, April 11, 1975)

Acyutananda - ''But in the Gita, it says once returning back home, back to Godhead he never again goes to the material as world."

Srila Prabhupada - ''But if he likes, he can return''.

Acyutananda - ''He can return?''

Srila Prabhupada - ''That independence has to be accepted, we can misuse that and is the cause of our falldown''. (Morning Walk, February 19, 1976, Mayapur)

The jiva souls in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana therefore are forever expanding their sense of individuality with personal offerings based on selfless loving reciprocation with Krishna, it is NEVER a one sided master/slave relationship with the Lord.

This is important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique characteristics that THEY only individually have, that is part and parcel of each individual marginal living entities make up as the independent eternal "person" they are.

Srila Prabhupada - “Because you are Son of God you have got independence, full independence, therefore you have acquired the quality of your father. You have got little independence. "So God does not interfere with your little independence”. (Conversation in Melbourne, Australia June 25, 1974 between Srila Prabhupada and his disciples)

The jiva-soul in both Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana, NEVER lose their free will, which means their own individual ability of self expression when choosing to offer their own personal contributions that are unique to each individual jiva-soul.

Each jiva-soul in their full natural spiritual potential in the Spiritual Worlds of Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana, have this eternal marginal quality of free will as already emphasised.

The fact is, Krishna actually NEVER gave the individual marginal living entities (jiva-tattva souls) free will BECAUSE the jiva-tattva souls HAVE ALWAYS HAD FREE WILL as part of their perpetual constitutional make up!

Just like Krishna NEVER created the marginal living entities or jiva souls because they have ALWAYS existed without having any beginning or will never cease to be.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 2 Text 20 explains -

''For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain''.

Srila Prabhupada – There is no “ NEW” soul. “New'’ and “old'’ are due to this material body, but the soul is NEVER born and NEVER dies, so if there is no birth, so how there can be new soul?''. (Letter to Jagadisa 7/9/1970)

Therefore like Krishna, the individual jiva-souls are beginningless and endless and are always perpetually together like the Sun and the sun rays are also inseparable.

Therefore there is no beginning point where "free will" began because it is eternal.

We must all try to understand that love can ONLY exist in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana the Spiritual World when there is free will Prabhupada told us all those years ago.

Srila Prabhupāda - ''Unless there are two persons, where is the question of love? Love means two persons, there is exchange. Giving something, taking something, feeding something and to eat something, and speaking everything, no secrecy, and to know everything of the other person. When these things are transacted, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted, you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there". (Evening Darsana, August 9, 1976, Tehran)

With such selfless emotions of loving devotion, the jiva-soul NEVER loses their free will, which means their own individual ability of self expression, when choosing to offer their own personal contributions that are unique to each individual souls (jiva-tattva)

Each jiva-soul has this eternal marginal quality, which is part and parcel of there perpetual make up or constitution as being the marginal living entity or jiva-tattva-soul they eternally are.

In this way, each of the jiva-soul's have their own individual sense of self, character and personality and being a unique one of a kind in the Spiritual Sky, unlike any other jiva-soul.

Again it is important to understand that no two jiva-souls are the same.

This eternally existing spiritual social code, that includes free will and an independent personal sense of individual self, make up the character and personality of each jiva soul that is without any beginning or ending point, and is part and parcel of every marginal living entities (jiva-souls) eternal constitution.

This allows the jiva-soul to personally always be aware that they are a unique individual independent person while serving Krishna, being different from all other living entities in the Spiritual Sky.

Free will means, it is the jiva soul's choice of how to they want "surrender" and serve Krishna, or even NOT surrender if they choose.

However, the fact is, more than 90% of jiva souls NEVER choose to foolishly enter the material creation.

Only less than 10% foolishly choose to enter the material creation Prabhupada tells us.

It is also their choice of what THEY want to offer and contribute to the Lord in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan, which is the very best from their personal unique abilities and talents they voluntarily choose to selflessly offer to Krishna in the Spiritual World.***

In Gauḍīya Vaisnavism there are three different forms of Visnu-tattvas who manage the temporary material creation.

1 - Mahā-Visnu (Kāraṇodakaśāyī Visnu)

2 - Garbhodakaśāyī Visnu (Hiraņyagarbha)

3 - Ksirodakaśāyī Visnu (Paramātmā).

Maha-Visnu (Kāraṇodakaśāyī Visnu) is ultimately an expansion of Lord Balarama, the first expansion of Lord Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Absolute truth, and cause of all causes.

Krsna is an individual Person as a spiritual bodily form with 2 arms, two legs etc in His original and perpetual appearance.

No jiva-souls originate from the impersonal Brahmajyoti or from some nonsense "clear sheet of inactive consciousness" as fools believe.

All marginal living entities (jiva-souls) are originally a spiritual bodily form in Krsna's image Prabhupada explains here and are not from the dormant Brahmajyoti.

Devotee – "Is the original body of the jiva-soul a human form?"

Srila Prabhupada – "Yes, human form. God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form. Here you see Krsna, two hands, two legs."

Hari-sauri – "How do we understand, then, that there are peacocks and flowers and trees in the spiritual world? Are these not eternal forms?"

Srila Prabhupada – "[describing material form first]: Yes, they are more covered. Just like if you cover your body with blanket, the hands and legs are invisible. But you are not the blanket. So the trees and plants, they are more covered. They are not in full manifestation. The human form is the full manifestation of the soul."

Hari-sauri - "They are covered in the spiritual world?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Not in the spiritual world. There that is voluntary. Some devotees want to serve Krsna as flower; so they become flower there. If I want that, to be a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna, then he becomes flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable, yet a fact." (Srimad Bhagavatam 6.1.1-4 - Melbourne, May 20, 1975)

In Gauḍīya Vaisnavism, a school of Vaiṣṇavism, the Sātvata-tantra describes three different forms, or aspects, of Visnu as-

1 - Mahā-Visnu (Kāraṇodakaśāyī Visnu)

2 - Garbhodakaśāyī Visnu (Hiraņyagarbha)

3 - Ksirodakaśāyī Visnu (Paramātmā).

Maha-Visnu further expands as the form of  Garbhodakaśāyī Visnu (Hiraņyagarbha) and enters each of the millions of massive universes known as a "Brahmandas" that all originate from the pores of Maha-Visnu's Body.

Garbhodakashayi Visnu lays down deep inside each of the massive "Brahmanda" universes that encase and surrounds His smaller inner secondary universe inside each Brahmanda.

Maha-Visnu again further expands as Kṣīrodakaśāyī Visnu (Paramatma) who is the Supersoul situated in the heart of all material bodily vessels next to the living beings (jiva-souls) in all the millions of material universes.

Kāraņodaksayi Visnu is Sankarsana (an expansion of Balarama) of the Catur-vyuha, the quadruple expansions of Krsna who predominate over the Vaikuṇṭha planets as His 4 armed Visnu-tattva expansions.

Balarama is the first expansion of Lord Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, then further expands as all the Narayana and Visnu forms of the Lord.

Then all the demigods such as Brahma and Siva etc, and all the 8 million 400 thousand species of material life (material vessels) that the visiting jiva-souls possess, are are created from the dreams of Maha-Visnu.

Maha-Visnu creates all the material bodily vessels that are eventually occupied or possessed by the visiting jiva-souls who have chosen to leave Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana to foolishly enter the mundane decaying material creation, which is 1/4 of the Brahmajyoti or Spiritual Sky.

No jiva-souls originate from the material creation, or from Maha-Visnu, or the impersonal (dormant inactive condition) aspect of Brahmajyoti (Brahman) called tatastha-sakti.

This is because all jiva-souls originate directly from Vaikuntha and from Goloka Vrindavana.

Also, the original form of the marginal living entities (jiva-souls) is not some nonsense impersonal spark in Krsna's effulgence (impersonal Brahmajyoti), the jiva-souls original feature is a 2 armed bodily form like Krsnas Prabhupada has explained above.

However, many religious groups and their gurus cannot understand this in this age of Kali-yuga of spiritual decline to impersonalism.

The full potential and highest understanding of the jiva-soul's eternal position is-

1 - Sat - eternity

2 - Chit - knowledge

3 - Ananda - bliss

4 - Vigraha - bodily form

Maha-Visnu in His material creation, lays down in the causal ocean or the Karanodak, He then puts the seeds of this material creation in Mahā-māyā by glancing at her.

Mahā-māyā remains the ever obedient material energy of the Supreme Lord.

Maha-Visnu creates all the material elements-

1 - Sky,

2 - Fire,

3 - Water,

4 - Air,

5 - Earth,

These material elements are created along with-

6 - Mind,

7 - Intelligence,

8 - False ego.

After this, Maha-Visnu enters each of the larger universes known as a Brahmandas, that originate from the pores of His Body, as Garbhodaksayi Visnu, who lays down deep inside each surrounding Brahmanda  universe, in a secondary smaller universe within it.

Garbhodakasayi Visnu is an expansion of Maha-Visnu, there are billions of Garbhodakashayi Visnus and Lord Brahmas but only one Maha-Visnu (Kāraṇodakaśāyī Visnu)

All jiva-souls (marginal living entities) are individual independent living entities who can choose to enter this material creation, to the smaller material universe that exists with all its 14 planetary systems in the stem growing from the navel of Garbhodakasayi Visnu who are all encased deep inside the surrounding Brahmanda universe.

From Garbhodaksayi Visnu emerges Brahma who is the secondary creator within His secondary universe that is deep inside the outer surrounding Brahmanda universe.

Garbhodakaśāyī Visnu is an expansion of Mahā-Visnu.

In Gaudīya Vaisnavism the Sātvata-tantra describes three different forms of Visnu as-

1 - Mahā-Visnu (Kāraṇodakaśāyī Visnu)

2 - Garbhodakaśāyī Visnu (Hiraņyagarbha)

3 - Ksirodakaśāyī Visnu (Paramātmā).

Srila Prabhupada - ''The science of God analyzes the constitutional position of God and His diverse energies. Material nature is called prakṛti, or the energy of the Lord in His different puruṣa incarnations (expansions) as described in the Sātvata-tantra-

viṣṇos tu trīṇi rūpāṇipuruṣākhyāny atho viduḥekaṁ tu mahataḥ sraṣṭṛdvitīyaṁ tv aṇḍa-saṁsthitamtṛtīyaṁ sarva-bhūta-sthaṁtāni jñātvā vimucyate

"For material creation, Lord Kṛṣṇa's plenary expansion assumes three Viṣṇus.

1 - The first one, Mahā-Viṣṇu, creates the total material energy, known as the mahat-tattva.

2 - The second, Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu, enters into all the universes to create diversities in each of them.

3 - The third, Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu, is diffused as the all-pervading Supersoul in all the universes and is known as Paramātmā. He is present even within the atoms. Anyone who knows these three Viṣṇus can be liberated from material entanglement." (Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 7.4 Text 4 Purport)

Each Visnu-tattva form has a different role in the maintenance of the Universe and its inhabitants.

1 - For material creation, Lord Krsna's plenary expansion assumes three Visnus. The first, Mahā-Viṣṇu, creates the total material energy, known as the mahat-tattva and all the Brahmanda universe as seen in painting below.

2 - The second, Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu, enters deep inside of each of these massive Brahmanda  universes, reaching its center, and then creates a secondary inner universe with all its diversities.

3 - The third, Kṣīrodakaśāyī Visnu, is diffused as the all-pervading super soul in all the universes; in the heart of every living being, is known as Paramātmā. He is present even within the atoms.

The real objective of meditation in Yoga is attain service to Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

Garbhodhakaśāyī Visnu is also realized as the form of Pradyumna within the material universe who the father of Brahmā who appeared from His navel and hence Garbhodakashayi Visnu is also called Hiraņyagarbha.

There are billions of Brahmanda universes all originating from the Body of Maha-Visnu.

Inside each Brahmanda universe, is a secondary smaller universe where Garbhodakashayi Visnu, Lord Brahma and all the different Planetary Systems are found.

This inner material universe, is surrounded and encased by the outer Brahmanda universe's 7 or 8 massive material layers.

These are the names of the 14 material planetary Systems below in photo, just in our single material universe which is situated deep within our surrounding massive Brahmanda.

There are billions of these Brahmanda universes, all coming from the Body of Maha-Visnu as seen in painting below.

Each Brahmanda has their own secondary inner material universe deep inside their surrounding Brahmanda universe.

And each inner secondary universe has their own Planetary System, that are all in different sizes, ours has 14 different Planetary Systems.

This means there are billions of Garbhodakashayi Visnus, billions of Lord Brahmas, billions of Lord Sivas, billions of Indrus, billions of all the demigods in each universe that is deep inside their own outer Brahmanda greater universe.

However, there is only one Maha-Visnu, as seen in painting below.**..
