"Unconditional Surrender" sadly is often wrongly understood, and is really impersonalism.

Understanding the eternal "jiva-soul" and how the words "unconditional Surrender" is often wrongly understood and IS impersonalism.

The Spiritual World is full of unlimited variety and varigatedness where Krsna only wants those in His circle who "choose" to be there and gives the very best of who they are as an independent thinking individual person.

Who each have their own unique abilities and talents that they choose to offer to Krsna.

Goloka Vrindavana, or the Kingdom of God, is where the jiva-soul's natural independent identity (yet always dependent on Krsna) and personal individual attributes are at their full potential of self expression as part and parcel of their spiritual bodily form.

This bodily form making the jiva-soul the eternal "person" they are, is eternally made of -

Sat - eternity

Chit - knowledge

Ananda - bliss

Vigraha - spiritual bodily form.

All jiva-soul's have their own individuality, independence and ARE a unique spiritual bodily form that is eternally part and parcel of the jiva soul's eternal constitution.

The jiva-soul (marginal living entity) is NOT some impersonal living spark that originated from the impersonal Brahmajyoti or Brahman as foolish yogis and mundane gurus believe.

No, all jiva-souls have ALWAYS had an eternal non-material (anti-matter) spiritual bodily form which IS the jiva-soul's full appearance AS a "bodily form", and is who they really are as their spiritual (marginal living entity) personality.

Prabhupāda has clearly explained that the jiva-souls do NOT originate from the Brahmajyoti (Brahman effulgence) or from some nonsense inactive "clear sheet of inactive consciousness that is always expanding and growing".

The individual eternal qualities of the jiva-soul's above, have eternally, without beginning or end, existed.

Bhagavad Gita As It Is Chapter 2 Text 20 tells us we were NEVER created, nor will any of us ever cease to be -

"For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is , eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain". (BG Chapter 2 Text 20)

Just like the Sun-disc and the sun-rays cannot exist without each other and are eternal, similarly Krsna and the jiva-souls cannot exist without each other "Nectar of Devotion

These unique individual qualities of the jiva-souls, enable them to selflessly serve Krsna in their own unique personal way exclusive to them.

No two jiva-soul's personality are the same.

Also surrendering to Krsna NEVER extinguishes one's personal ability of self expression and unique personality.

This means ALWAYS remaining an independent person who always express themselves according to their free will (and simultaneously fully dependent on Krsna)

"Free will" and individual identity is the constitutional make up of all jiva-souls.

Having these unique personal attributes actually enhances the loving relationship more and more with Krsna, because real love is always in the mood of voluntary reciprocation expressed in a two-way relationship of loving exchanges (giving and receiving).

This expression of "loving exchanges" is ALWAYS going on in the Spiritual World because real love never stops growing and expanding there.

It is important to understand that no jiva-souls were ever created as said above.

In actual fact, the jiva-souls are just as old as Krsna, meaning they are eternal without beginning or end and were NEVER created.

Just like the sun-rays cannot exist without the Sun-disc and the Sun-disc can never also exist without the sunrays.

"Real love" is ALWAYS reciprocal, where there is a positive mood of a good exchange of feelings, that are eternally nurturing and building the relationship.

The expression of real love is NEVER a one-way street or one sided affairs where "surrender" to Krsna takes away one's sense of independent self, free will, personality and individual expressions.

Such so called "surrender" will only make one no better than a dead mindless cold stone.

The "highest use of one's independence" is using your free will to "CHOOSE" to be fully dependent on Krsna in a loving reciprocal way. And because of Krsna's love in return, always respond by doing everything to please Him.

If there is no reciprocation between two, then loving exchanges are impossible and can NEVER exist, thus is why the jiva-souls have their free will.

We also hear that real love is "unconditional", but what does that mean? In many cases that is nonsense and not properly understood.

In actual fact, real love is NEVER unconditional in the sense of being impersonal, think about it.

Because REAL love involves a relationship based on two, NOT one.

Krsna does not want such impersonal mindless surrender under this vague misleading heading  of "unconditional surrender and love"

"Free will" is based on reciprocation and loving exchanges, this means having the freedom to EVEN choose to stay in Vaikuntha.

To religious fanatics, "unconditional surrender" really means extinguishing who you are as a person by giving up your free will, your individual sense independence and unique personal identity.

Such so called "unconditional surrender" is nonsense impersonalism.

A REAL loving relationship can NEVER be unconditional in the real meaning of these words, not even between Krsna and the Gopis because the ONLY condition of love is what Prabhupada told us long ago-

Srila Prabhupada  - "If you love me, then I will love you"

And the Gopis ALWAYS know Krsna loves them and their separation from Him only enhances that love.

The relationship between Krsna and the jiva-souls MUST also include the jiva-soul's voluntary contributions too, in the loving mood of reciprocation and exchanges with Krsna.

This is because without the jiva-souls having their free will that allows them to express themselves and make choices, then there can NEVER be any real loving exchanges or freedom.

Such self expression of genuine love only exists in it's full potential in the Vaikuntha Planets and Goloka-Vrindavana.

Srila Prabhupada also explains not even Krsna can force you to love Him or surrender to Him. LOVE or service is based on two having an agreement, not just one making all the decision.

Real surrender and devotional service requires free will, voluntary loving exchanges and reciprocation for it to exist in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan.

Srila Prabhupada – “You have got little independence, you can violate if you want because you are part and parcel of God, God has got full independence, but you have got little independence, proportionately because you are His part and parcel, therefore if you like, you can return to the material creation. That independence has to be accepted, little independence. We can misuse that. Krsna-bahirmukha haïä bhoga väïchä kare. That misuse is the cause of our falldown”.
