Just like the "Sun and the Sunrays" exist together and cannot exist independent of each other, Krsna also has no meaning without being surrounded by His loving devotees.

Krsna and the jivas (souls) are ALWAYS together just like the Sun and Sunrays are together that cannot manifest without each other.

However, Krsna IS the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.
Alongside Him ALL individual living entities also simultaneously exist without beginning or end.

Therefore, just like the "Sun and the Sunrays" exist together and cannot exist independent of each other, Krsna also has no meaning without His devotees.

The soul or jiva-tattva was NEVER created and does NOT originate from the impersonal aspect of Brahman

For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be.

Sastra says Gita 2.20 - 

"For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval’’. 

The word ''unborn'' is very clear meaning the jiva was never born.

Also BG 2.12 -

"Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be".

The jivas were never created.

Krsna is the maintainer of all existence in Goloka and Vaikuntha and His material ''creation'' Both Krsna and the jivas are eternal and always exist together like the sun and the sunrays.

The jivas are nothing without Krsna and Krsna has no meaning without the jivas as Srila Prabhupada explains in ''Nectar of Devotion''

Both are equally eternal in the sense of there is no beginning but Krsna is always the Supreme Lord even though He has an older brother Balarama LOL.

Krsna has 100% of His own qualities,
Vishnu or Narayana has 93% of Krsna's qualities,
Shiva has 84% of Krishna's qualities,
the jivas like you and me, have 78% of Krishna's qualities.

Both Krsna and the jivas are eternal and always exist together like the sun and the Sunrays. The jivas are NOT created because they were never ''born''.

There was never a time that the jiva-tattvas did not exist.

Like Krsna, the jivas have ALWAYS existed just like the sunrays exist with the sun, this is how the jivas also eternally exist subordinate to Lord Krsna.

Therefore technically, Krsna NEVER created the jivas because they are eternally part and parcel of Him like the sunrays are part and parcel of the sun, they exist together and are inseparable.

Also to say the jiva souls, also known as the marginal living entities, came from an impersonal origin is not the teachings of Srila Prabhupada.

Letter to Revatinandana Los Angeles 13 June, 1970 

Srila Prabhupada - 'The next question, about the living entities falling down in this material world are not from the impersonal brahman. Existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness.

Those who are in the brahman effulgence they are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition. When fall takes place, it means falling down from the non-fallen condition.

The non-fallen condition is Krsna consciousness. So long one can maintain pure Krsna consciousness he is not fallen down. As soon as he becomes out of Krsna consciousness immediately he is fallen down.

It does not matter where a living entity stays. In the material world also there are different stages of living conditions, and to remain in the brahman effulgence is also another phase of that fallen condition.

Just like in the Bhagavad-gita it is stated that conditioned souls by their pious activities are elevated to the higher planetary system, but as soon as the stock of pious activities is finished he again comes down on the earthly planet.

Similarly those who are elevated beyond the planetary system to the brahman effulgence, they are also prone to fall down as much as a living entity from the higher planetary system.

As such those who are thinking that they are liberated by being situated in brahman effulgence are described in the Srimad-Bhagavatam as impurely intelligent.

In other words, they are actually not liberated, and because they are not actually liberated they again come down to the material world as much as a living entity elevated to the higher planetary system comes down to this earthly planet.

So we do not accept anyone elevated to the brahman effulgence as actually liberated.”

What Prabhupada is saying is the jivas were previously active ''before'' entering Maha Vishnu's effulgence, he is saying they never originated from that effulgence even though it may ''appear'' they do because of an enormous time span. 

They have actually fallen to that effulgence by entering it at the end of the previous material creation or may have entered it as an impersonalist yogi, they have never originated from there or Maha Vishnu either because long, long, long before that they fell from Vaikuntha

Revatīnandana - "You very clearly explained to me once in a letter that if the spirit soul then goes into the brahma-jyotir, he is considered still fallen. Still fallen. Does that means the whole brahma-jyotir is composed of fallen souls? You see my question? If I go there, I'm a jīva soul, and I go to the brahma-jyotir I'm still fallen".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Revatīnandana - "That means all jīva souls there are also fallen souls".

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Revatīnandana - "That follows?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "That is explained in the Bhagavad-gītā. Vibhinnāṁśa. Separated parts. Separated parts, vibhinnāṁśa. You can call it fallen".

Revatīnandana - "But we usually think of fallen as being forgetful".

Srila Prabhupāda -"Yes. This is also forgetfulness. In the brahma-jyotir you are forgetful still. Because you are... That is stated in the śāstra, anādhṛta yuṣmad anghrayaḥ. Anādhṛta. They do not know how to adore the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. That is forgetfulness".

Srila Prabhupada - "It is not for you to judge who is guilty and who is innocent, only Krishna knows the heart of His disciple and how much they are trying to be Krishna conscious. Do not judge others, leave that up to Krishna because He knows all, you do not".

Many present day (2020) immature pioneering leaders now in their 60s and 70s, and "finger pointing" judgemental devotees, should understand this comment by Srila Prabhupada about criticizing devotees, still not understood by many 46 years after he made this comment.

During a Srila Prabhupada's lecture in 1974, a devotee asked him a question -

"If a devotee is initiated as a brahmana and he leaves the Krishna consciousness Movement, then isn't it appropriate that if he wants to come back, that he should be reduced to the level of a sudra ....?"

This devotee was concerned about this subject and wanted a practicle application but Srila Prabhupada cut him off quite abruptly said,

"It is not for you to judge who is guilty and who is innocent." 

Then this devotee tried again, almost as if he wanted his condemnation of a fallen devotee, justified.

So he re-phrased and re-presented his question because he may have thought Srila Prabhupada did not understood his question, so he tried again to explain his point again that when someone leaves ISKCON, shouldn't that devotee be put in a lower position and then work their way back up.

He began to speak, but Srila Prabhupada again abruptly cut him off, not at all happy with what his judgemental arrogent conclusions that he was trying to justify.

Srila Prabhupada STRONGLY explained that ONLY the spiritual master knows who is actually guilty and who is innocent and knows the heart of his disciple. 

These comments by Srila Prabhupada greatly impressed the devotees who were there that clearly we CANNOT see the true character of a devotee by looking from the outside.

Srila Prabhupada - "What are a devotee's intentions and motives? We cannot see that, therefore we cannot judge them or degrade them for their offenses or their faults, only the Spiritual Master can do that".

No, that is not going to happen!!

Even though many will die because of this 2020 pandemic, it will eventually pass like all the many other pandemics have throughout history.

In fact, something amazing is happening, an opulent spiritual Golden Age has already begun on this planet.

The driving force for this Golden Age, is the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His Sankirtan Movement that WILL free many souls trapped here in this decaying material World.

This Golden Age will last for 10,000 years within this Kali-yuga that lasts for 432,000 years.

The teachings of Lord Caitanya WILL encourage the people of the world to develop a Krishna Conscious World Society, and become educated in spiritual matters and qualified to get out of this material World and return home back to Godhead.

After the 10,000 year Golden Age based on the teaching of Lord Caitanya, the inauspicious qualities of Kali-yuga will continue on for another 417,000 years.

Then life on this Planet will end at the last stage of Kali-yuga in complete annihilation, making way for a new Satya-yuga to begin.

Lord Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes, and is the original Lord from whom all Vishnu/Narayana forms originate.

This beautiful boy Krsna is the Supreme Lord and cause of all living entities including all the Narayana and Vishnu Personalities of the Godhead who live on the permanent Vaikuntha Planets in the Spiritual realm.

Also there are three other Vishnus who manage and enter the temporary material creation -

1 - Maha Vishnu
2 - Garbhodakashayi Vishnu
3 - Paramatma

Paramatma accompanies the marginal living entities (jiva souls) when they choose to enter the material creation and take a material bodily vessel.

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''.- (December 1966 "The Happening Record Album" New York City)

It is a waste of time to be satisfied reaching outer space in a craft, because such endeavours will NEVER answer the questions of life's purpose, why are we here, where did we come from and where are we meant to be.

Traveling to outer space will never solve the temporary decaying nature of the material bodily vessel we are in, namely birth, disease, old age and death, and will never help us understand the eternal nature of the soul (jiva-tattva) and one's relationship with God.

The goal of this rare human form of life is to GET OUT of the material world and material body, and go back home back to Godhead.

One should also NOT be side tracked by going to other temporary heavenly planets in the material universe, that are also in a state of impermanence, decline and decay.

What we should be learning in our schools and Universities, from a very young age, is we are NOT the material bodily vessel we occupy, but the life force known as the individual jiva tattva (jiva-soul) within.

Present day human society with all their scientific advanced technology, STILL do not understand the fact they are NOT the gross material bodily vessel they are in, or the underlining subtle material body of mind, intelligence and ego either.

Modern science today still have not discovered that we are the "life anti-material force" in the material body called the "individual jiva-tattva" covered by two further material bodies, one "gross matter", and the other "subtle matter".

We should be learning as children, we are the individual jiva-tattva (jiva-soul) within these temporary material bodily containers.

Science has yet to discover subtle material energy known as ''sub-space'' by many scholars, let alone spiritual anti-material energy.

They have no idea these unseen realities even exists. 

On a Spiritual level, our modern technological age is very materialistic, primitive and ignorant, they do not see beyond the mundane matter.

Many heavens described in other religious traditions, also exist only in the material creation in what is known in the Vedas as the heavenly material planets, they are NOT spiritual realms.

No, these temporary material opulant realities are NOT spiritual, which means they are NOT in Vaikuntha Planets which are the real eternal imperishable anti-material Kingdom of God where there is no disease, old age, birth or death.

The real reason why we have this rare human biological material form, is so we can again use it to get out of this material creation and go back home back to Godhead (Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan.) The Abodes of Lord Vishnu and Lord Narayana (The Vaikuntha Planets) and Lord Krishna (Goloka-Vrindavan)

Srila Prabhupada condemned all mundane outer space travel endeavours as a waste of time, saying it will all end in failure, meaning such endeavours will NOT free us from the material bodily vessel we are in or this material creation.

This is what he really meant when he said all endeavours to enter outer space will end in failure.

He also condemned demigod worship saying even going to the higher material heavenly planets is also a waste of time because nothing in the material creation, including the heavenly planets, lasts forever, it's all temporary.

Even if one lives in the heavenly material planets for 10,000 years, it all comes to an end, which means one will again experience re-birth, or taking another material body.

What Prabhupada meant by saying NASA's space endeavours are useless, is even if they are going to the Moon, Mars, Pluto etc, it will NOT help them get out of this material creation and realize they are NOT the material body they are confined too.

Srila Prabhupada told me the first time I met him -

"The purpose of this very rare human form of life is to get out of this material world and NOT try and build the kingdom of God without God"

Srila Prabhupada said searching outer space is like being in a burning house and staying in it looking for the source of the fire, no, if a house is burning you GET OUT!!

The material world is like that burning house, the fire of the house is like the constant decaying material body experiencing birth, youth, middle age, old age, disease and death.

So why hang around in this material world building rockets or comfortable cars, planes, houses, sky scrappers, super liners, big cities?

No, our real purpose is to get out of this material body and world! 

And yes, if the devotees took over, all modern science and technology would gradually cease to exist because we do not need it! We will NEVER teach our Gurukuli students moden Quantum physics or String theory or how to build rockets and become Astronauts.

To a devotee these things will NOT free us from the material creation.

Srila Prabhupada - ''Therefore atma-darsana, one must know what he is. He is spiritual being. Spiritual being, he has nothing to do with this material world, but somehow or other, we have fallen in this material world. Anadi karama-phale, padi’ bhavarnava-jale.

It is just like ocean. So just like if you fall down from the boat or the ship, then it is struggle for existence. You may be very nice swimmer, but that does not mean in the water you will be comfortable. That is not possible.

Similarly, we living entities, part and parcel of God, we are as pure as God. Krsna, God, is pure. Param brahma param dhama pavitram paramam bhavan. Pavitra. So similarly… Pavitra means without material contamination.

That is pavitra.

apavitrah pavitro va
sarvavastham gato ‘pi va
yah smaret pundarikaksam
sa bahyabhyantara-sucih

This is the process, that you may be pure or impure. Material condition means impure, contaminated, conditioned.

So to get out of this contaminated condition, the sastra says, yah smaret pundarikaksam:

“If you always constantly think of Pundarikaksa, the lotus-eyed Krsna or Visnu,” yah smaret pundarikaksam sa bahyabhyantara-sucih, “he becomes externally and internally suci, purified.”

So at the present moment our position is contaminated position by the contact of the three modes of material nature. Gunair vicitrah. Gunair vicitrah. You see so many varieties of life, different varieties of life. Uccavaca.

Some of them are higher, in higher position; some of them are lower position. But this vicitra, soul, is pure. That is one quality. But this vicitra quality, why? Vicitra means variety. Because gunaih. Karanam guna-sango ‘sya.

Why one has become dog and one has become god? God means demigod. They are also living entities within this material world, but they live in higher planetary system.

Just like here also we see some of them are living in high skyscraper building, very comfortable apartment, and some are living in the huts, jhupari. In Bombay you can see. Both things are there.

Similarly, these demigods–Indra, Candra, Varuna, and many others–they are also living very comfortably in higher planets. They are also living entities.

But they are in the, mostly in the sattva-guna. And here, in this planet or lower than this planet, they are mostly in rajo-guna and tamo-guna.

That is stated in the Bhagavad-gita: urdhvam gacchanti sattva-sthah. If you develop sattva-guna, then gradually you can be elevated to the higher planetary system where the demigods live. Madhye tisthanti rajasah.

If you are affected by the rajo-guna, then the middle planetary system, means bhur bhuvah svah… Om bhur bhuvah svah tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasya.

So…, and lower planet, then Tala, Atala, Vitala, Patala, Rasatala, Talatala–there are so many lower planetary system.

There are fourteen planetary system, seven down (hellish) and seven up (heavenly).

So this is going on. This is going on. Therefore it is called gunair vicitrah. All these living entities and their living condition, their mode of life, standard of life, everything, they are simply contamination of the three gunas: tri-gunair vicitrah. Srjatim sa-rupah prakrtim prajah. Sa-rupah prakrtim.

They are getting this form according to the tendency of the mind, sa-rupah. If I contaminate tamo-guna, then I get lower-grade life.

If I contaminate rajo-guna, then middle-grade life. And if we contaminate… That is also contamination, but it is better than the other two.

So all of them are material qualities, and that is unwanted association of the living entity. That is not required, because in the Vedas it is said, asango ‘yam purusah: “The living entity has nothing to do with these material qualities.” But somehow or other, he has come in contact.

Therefore Bhaktivinoda Thakura said, anadi karama-phale, padi’ bhavarnava-jale. And the Caitanya Mahaprabhu also says like that, ayi nanda-tanuja patitam kinkaram mam visame bhavambudhau.

“My dear Lord, Nanda-tanuja, the son Nanda Maharaja, Krsna, I am Your eternal servant.” Ayi nanda-tanuja patitam kinkaram mam: “I am… Somehow or other, I have fallen in this ocean of material existence. Kindly pick me up and make me the dust of Your lotus feet.”

Just like if you are in the ocean, somehow or other, if you are taken one inch above the water, you immediately feel relief. So we have to become at least one inch above these material qualities. Then you are liberated, immediately".
