No matter how fallen one is, ALWAYS chant - Hare Krishna

Progressing to be Spiritually strong is like learning to walk, often one will fall down in their attempt, but one should NEVER EVER give up trying.

No matter how fallen one is, ALWAYS chant -

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''.

Srila Prabhupada gives us an explanation of what Sankirtan (which means the congregational of the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha mantra)

Srila Prabhupada - ''This transcendental vibration-by chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare-is the sublime method for reviving our Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

As living spiritual souls we are all originally Kṛṣṇa conscious entities, but due to our association with matter since time immemorial, our consciousness is now polluted by material atmosphere.

In this polluted concept of live, we are all trying to exploit the resources of material nature, but actually we are becoming more and more entangled in her complexities.

This illusion is called māyā, or hard struggle for existence over the stringent laws of material nature. This illusory struggle against the material nature can at once be stopped by revival of our Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

Kṛṣṇa consciousness is not an artificial imposition on the mind. This consciousness is the original energy of the living entity. When we hear the transcendental vibration, this consciousness is revived. And the process is recommended by authorities for this age.

By practical experience also, we can perceive that by chanting this mahā-mantra, or the Great Chanting for Deliverance, one can at once feel transcendental ecstasy from the spiritual stratum.

When one is factually on the plane of spiritual understanding, surpassing the stages of sense, mind and intelligence, one is situated on the transcendental plane.

This chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare is directly enacted from the spiritual platform, surpassing all lower states of consciousness-namely sensual, mental and intellectual.

There is no need of understanding the language of the mantra, nor is there any need of mental speculation nor any intellectual adjustment for chanting this mahā-mantra.

It springs automatically from the spiritual platform, and as such, anyone can take part in this transcendental sound vibration, without any previous qualification, and dance in ecstasy.

We have seen it practically. Even a child can take part in the chanting, or even a dog can take part in it.

The chanting should be heard, however, from the lips of a pure devotee of the Lord, so that immediate effect can be achieved.

As far as possible, chanting from the lips of a nondevotee should be avoided, as much as milk touched by the lips of a serpent causes poisonous effect.

The word Harā is a form of addressing the energy of the Lord. Both Kṛṣṇa and Rāma are forms of addressing directly the Lord, and they mean "the highest pleasure, eternal." Harā is the supreme pleasure potency of the Lord. This potency, when addressed as Hare, helps us in reaching the Supreme Lord.

The material energy, called as mayā, is also one of the multipotencies of the Lord, as much as we are also marginal potency of the Lord. The living entities are described as superior energy than matter.

When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity.

The three words, namely Harā, Kṛṣṇa and Rāma, are transcendental seeds of the mahā-mantra, and the chanting is a spiritual call for the Lord and His internal energy, Harā, for giving protection to the conditioned soul.

The chanting is exactly like a genuine cry by the child for the mother. Mother Harā helps in achieving the grace of the supreme father, Hari, or Kṛṣṇa, and the Lord reveals Himself to such a sincere devotee.

No other means, therefore, of spiritual realization is as effective in this age, as chanting the mahā-mantra,

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa,
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare,
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma,
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

Purport to Hare Krsna Mantra -- as explained on the cover of the "Happening Record Album" Recorded in New York City, New York, USA December 1966.

Who is Lord Balarama?

Who is Lord Balarama?

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna, is the fountainhead of all incarnations. Lord Balarama is His second body.

They are both one and the same identity except Krishna has four qualities that not even Lord Balarama fully has.

Krishna's four special qualities are not fully manifested in Lord Balarama or Lord Vishnu (Narayana) form of Godhead, what to speak of the demigods or living entities.

Those four qualities are as follows:

1 - He is the performer of wonderful varieties of pastimes (especially His childhood pastimes).

2 - He is surrounded by devotees endowed with wonderful love of Godhead.

3 - He can attract all living entities all over the universes by playing on His flute.

4 - He has a wonderful excellence of beauty which cannot be rivaled anywhere in the creation.

Balarama also has His own unique personality.

Therefore they differ only in form. Balarama is the first bodily expansion of Krishna, and He assists in Lord Krishna's transcendental pastimes. He is the source of the entire spiritual world and is the adi-guru, the original spiritual master.

He assumes five other forms to serve Lord Krishna.

He Himself helps in the pastimes of Lord Krishna, and He does the work of creation in four other forms called the catur-vyuha (four armed) forms known as Vasudeva, Sankarshana, Pradyumna and Anirudha.

He executes the orders of Lord Krishna in the work of creation, and in the form of Lord Sesa He serves Sri Krishna in various ways.

In all the forms He tastes the transcendental bliss of serving Krishna. No one can approach Krishna without first getting the mercy of Baladeva.

Descent of Balarama

Whenever Krishna appears in the material world, He is accompanied by His associates and paraphernalia. Five thousand years ago when Krishna descended into the material world, He was first preceded by Baladeva.

Only after Baladeva give His mercy did Krishna descend, such is the intimate relationship between Krishna and Baladeva.

When Baladeva appeared as the seventh child in the womb of Devaki, she could understand that this was a divine child and this made her all the more concerned about His safety.

Even Kamsa could sense His potency and he became fearful, thinking he may have been tricked by the prophecy that he will be slain only by the eight child of Devaki.

At this time Krishna instructed Yogamaya, His internal potency, to transfer the unborn child from the womb of Devaki to that of Rohini, one of the other wives of Vasudeva, who was hiding from Kamsa in the house of Nanda Maharaja in Gokul.

In this way Balarama was born in Gokul under the protection of Nanda Maharaja. Garga Muni the venerable kulguru (family priest) of the Yadu dynasty revealed to Rohini that the child she was carrying was indeed that of her husband Vasudeva.

At the time of the name-giving ceremony he named the child Rama, one who gives all pleasures. Referring to the immense strength of the child, Garga Muni predicted that He will also be known as Balarama (bala meaning strength).

Since He was forcibly attracted from the womb of Devaki to that of Rohini, He was also be called Sankarshana. As the son of Rohini He was known as Rohini-nandan and as the elder brother of Krishna He was also called Douji.

The form of Lord Balarama

Powerful Lord Balarama is sixteen years old, full of the luster of youth and has a fair complexion the color of crystal. He wears blue garments and a garland of forest flowers.

His handsome hair is tied in a graceful topknot. Splendid earrings adorn His ears and His neck is splendidly decorated with garlands of flowers and strings of jewels.

Splendid armlets and bracelets ornament Douji's graceful and very strong arms and His feet are decorated with splendid jeweled anklets.

Lord Balarama's beauty is enhanced by the earrings touching His cheeks. His face is decorated with tilaka made from musk, and His broad chest is ornamented with a garland of gunja. Balarama’s voice is very grave and His arms are very long, touching His thighs

The splendor of Lord Balarama's transcendental form eclipses many millions of glistening rising moons, and the slightest scent of His boundless strength is sufficient to destroy many armies of demons.

Although He knows the supernatural power of His younger brother, Krishna, still, out of love for Him, He never leaves Krishna alone in the forest even for a moment.

Balarama is Sri Krishna's dearest friend and is a great reservoir of the nectar mellows of many kinds of transcendental pastimes.

Specific Pastimes of Lord Balarama

Balarama slays Dhenukasura

Dhenukasura was a powerful demon who had assumed the form of an ass. With his demon friends he was occupying Talavana, one of the twelve forests of Vrindavana.

Out of fear of these demons no one could approach Talavana and enjoy the numerous flowers and fruits in the forest. Balarama, induced by His cowherd friends, entered the forest desiring to kill the demons.

He began shaking the fruit trees, making a big noise. Dhenuka, furious at the intrusion, attacked Balarama with his rear legs, but Balarama easily picked him up by his legs and whirled him around until he died.

As the other demon friends of Dhenuka rushed to attack, Krishna and Balarama picked them up and threw them on trees, killing them. Soon the forest was free of all demons, and it appeared that the bent trees were being directed by Balarama to pay obeisances to Krishna.

Balarama kills Pralambasura

Once when Krishna and Balarama were playing with the cowherd boys, a demon named Pralamba entered their midst, disguised as a cowherd boy.

Understanding the invincible potency of Krishna, he instead decided to abduct Balarama. At the end of the game, as the losing party he was supposed to carry Balarama on his shoulders.

Carrying the Lord on his shoulders he ran swiftly, but Balarama realizing the true identity of demon began to make himself heavier and heavier. Unable to bear the weight, the demon assumed his original form which was like a huge dark effulgent cloud, decorated with golden ornaments.

Balarama then bought His fist down the head of the demon splitting it into two and causing him to give up his life.

Balarama glorified by Krishna

As the elder brother of Krishna, Balarama was the object of His love and respect. Once when walking in the forest of Vrindavana, Krishna observed the trees bending down as if paying obeisances.

He glorified the lotus feet of Balarama as being the object of devotion even for the demigods. He said that the trees, which were impersonalists in previous life times, witnessing the personal form of Balarama were now praying for His devotion.

At other times when Balarama would get tired by playing, He would lie down the lap of one of the cowherd boys and Krishna would personally massage His feet, fan Him and give Him service. Such was the sweet reciprocation of love between Krishna and Balarama.

Yamuna devi chastised

Once Lord Balarama, Who was at the time living in Dwarka, came back to stay in Vrindavana for two months. At this time He enjoyed pastimes with His gopi friends (who were different from the gopis of Krishna).

Enjoying such pastimes on the bank of Yamuna at Rama-ghata, the Lord summoned Yamuna so that He could sport in the waters. When Yamuna devi did not respond. Lord Balarama took up His favorite weapon, His plow, and began to drag Yamuna in a hundred streams.

Understanding the position of Balarama, Yamuna devi personally appeared and offered her obeisances to the Lord with many prayers in His glorification. Thus appeased the Lord entered and bathed in the waters of the river.

Kauravas chastised

Samba, the darling son of Jambavati and Krishna, kidnapped Laksmana the daughter of Duryodhana from the assembly were she was supposed to choose her husband.

The furious Kauravas after a prolonged fight, finally arrested Samba by sending in six of their greatest warriors. When the Yadavas heard of this they prepared for battle but Lord Balarama pacified them, preferring to find a peaceful solution.

However when He requested the Kauravas to return Samba and Laksmana, the Kauravas responded by insulting Him and the Yadava dynasty. Understanding them to be ignorant in their false prestige, Balarama took His plow and began to drag Hastinapura into the Ganges.

The terrified Kauravas now surrendered to the lotus feet of Balarama, begging for His mercy. They immediately returned Samba and Laksmana and had them married ceremoniously with many opulent gifts.

Balarama marries Revati

In Satya yuga there was a King named Raivata whose daughter Revati was excellent in all respects. Unable to find a match suitable for her, the king took her to the court of Brahma for his advise.

After waiting for some time when the king met with Brahma, he was shocked to learn that in the short time he spent in the Brahmaloka, millions of years had already passed on Earth and at the time Dvapara yuga was concluding.

However Lord Brahma informed King Raivata that present at this time was Lord Balarama Who was more than qualified to be the husband of Revati.

King Raivata returned and approached Balarama to accept Revati as His wife. However Revati belonged to an earlier yuga when people were much larger physically. So Lord Balarama placed His plow on her head until she shrunk to an appropriate size and accepted her as His wife.

Balarama and Mahabharata

In general Balarama was equally affectionate to both the Pandavas and the Kauravas. He accepted both Duryodhana and Bhima as His disciples in the art of mace-war.

As a teacher He appreciated the superior technique of Duryodhana as opposed to the raw strength of Bhima. At the time of Mahabharata, He refused to take sides and instead went on an extended pilgrimage to the holy places.

In the battle between Bhima and Duryodhana, He became angry at Bhima for killing Duryodhana by trickery, but was appeased by Sri Krishna.

Killing of Romaharshana

Towards the end of Dvapara yuga thousands of sages assembled on the banks of Naimyasharana to perform a thousand year yajna in an effort to reverse the onset of Kali yuga.

They appointed as their leader Romaharshana, one of the main disciple of Vyasadeva, who was also present when Sukadeva Goswami narrated Srimad Bhagavatam to King Parikshit.

When Lord Balarama entered the assembly, understanding Him to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead, all present rose to offer Him respect.

However Romaharshana, proud at occupying the position of the leader did not get up. Lord Balarama could understand that even though Romaharshana was a an expert Vedantist, he had not yet realized these teachings.

Considering him unqualified to lead the ceremony, Balarama touched him with a blade of grass causing him to die. He then instituted Suta, the son of Romaharshana as the leader of the assembly and continued with His pilgrimage.

Mercy of Lord Balarama

Lord Balarama exemplifies the service attitude to Krishna. His only mission is to please Krishna by rendering service to Him, whether it is in the creation of the material worlds, maintaining the spiritual world or as His personal paraphernalia.

Lord Balarama is the eternal companion of Sri Krishna. He came as Lakshmana with Rama and later as Nityananda Prabhu with Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

He is the original spiritual master, and any one desiring to make spiritual progress must first get the mercy of Lord Balarama.

All glories to Lord Balarama.

Predictions of the degrading sinful qualities of Kali-yuga found in the 12th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam

Predictions of the degrading qualities of Kali-yuga described in the 12th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Purana)

Srimad Bhagavatam canto 12 Chapter 3 Text 30 to 52

This sacred knowledge was given to to us His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (no purports)

SB 12.3.30

When there is a predominance of cheating, lying, sloth, sleepiness, violence, depression, lamentation, bewilderment, fear and poverty, that age is Kali, the age of the mode of ignorance.

SB 12.3.31

Because of the bad qualities of the age of Kali, human beings will become shortsighted, unfortunate, gluttonous, lustful and poverty-stricken. The women, becoming unchaste, will freely wander from one man to the next.

SB 12.3.32

Cities will be dominated by thieves, the Vedas will be contaminated by speculative interpretations of atheists, political leaders will virtually consume the citizens, and the so-called priests and intellectuals will be devotees of their bellies and genitals.

SB 12.3.33

The brahmacārīs will fail to execute their vows and become generally unclean, the householders will become beggars, the vānaprasthas will live in the villages, and the sannyāsīs will become greedy for wealth.

SB 12.3.34

Women will become much smaller in size, and they will eat too much, have more children than they can properly take care of, and lose all shyness. They will always speak harshly and will exhibit qualities of thievery, deceit and unrestrained audacity.

SB 12.3.35

Businessmen will engage in petty commerce and earn their money by cheating. Even when there is no emergency, people will consider any degraded occupation quite acceptable.

SB 12.3.36

Servants will abandon a master who has lost his wealth, even if that master is a saintly person of exemplary character. Masters will abandon an incapacitated servant, even if that servant has been in the family for generations. Cows will be abandoned or killed when they stop giving milk.

SB 12.3.37

In Kali-yuga men will be wretched and controlled by women. They will reject their fathers, brothers, other relatives and friends and will instead associate with the sisters and brothers of their wives. Thus their conception of friendship will be based exclusively on sexual ties.

SB 12.3.38

Uncultured men will accept charity on behalf of the Lord and will earn their livelihood by making a show of austerity and wearing a mendicant's dress. Those who know nothing about religion will mount a high seat and presume to speak on religious principles.

SB 12.3.39-40

In the age of Kali, people's minds will always be agitated. They will become emaciated by famine and taxation, my dear King, and will always be disturbed by fear of drought. They will lack adequate clothing, food and drink, will be unable to properly rest, have sex or bathe themselves, and will have no ornaments to decorate their bodies. In fact, the people of Kali-yuga will gradually come to appear like ghostly, haunted creatures.

SB 12.3.41

In Kali-yuga men will develop hatred for each other even over a few coins. Giving up all friendly relations, they will be ready to lose their own lives and kill even their own relatives.

SB 12.3.42

Men will no longer protect their elderly parents, their children or their respectable wives. Thoroughly degraded, they will care only to satisfy their own bellies and genitals.

SB 12.3.51

My dear King, although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: Simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra **, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.

SB 12.3.52

Whatever result was obtained in Satya-yuga by meditating on Viṣṇu, in Tretā-yuga by performing sacrifices, and in Dvāpara-yuga by serving the Lord's lotus feet can be obtained in Kali-yuga simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Srila Prabhupada told Yumuna dasi, the bodily designation of "a women" never applied to her because "you are a devotee", and know you are NOT the external bodily vessel covering of the soul.

Understanding women's roles as taught by Srila Prabhupada.

Srila Prabhupada told Yumuna dasi, the bodily designation of "a women" never applied to her because "you are a devotee", and know you are NOT the external bodily covering of the soul.

In this age of Kali-yuga both men and women are EQUALLY low births BOTH men and women are lower than a sudra women!

Prabhupada gave different instructions to different people and opened the doors for women in so many ways by changing basic vedic standards.

For example, in 1968 the sannyasis in the Gaudiya Math were very critical of Prabhupada, horrified he allowed women to live in the Temple.

Prabhupada allowed them to dress the Dieties, do puja, and talk to other men other than their husbands and family to sell Books.

And even giving women the gayatri mantra unheard of in the Gaudiya Math as well as giving both Evening and Morning Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam classes.

Already many in the Gaudiya Math were critical when Prabhupada dropped the 64 rounds a day standard to live in the Temple down to 16 rounds a day.

And today some of the biggest Book distributors are WOMEN and Prabhupada also never ruled out women gurus.

In 1977 many of Prabhupada's Godbrothers apologized to him when the success of his ISKCON was obvious.

Everything Personal and Impersonal, including all activity and inactivity exists in Krishna's Spiritual Sky effulgence also called Brahman or Brahmajyoti.

Brahman, also known as the Brahmajyoti, is NOT a place in outer space as some believe, it is an effulgent collective of unlimited individual living entities that surrounds Krishna's Body and is also known as the Spiritual Sky.

And everything Personal and Impersonal, including all activity and inactivity exists in Krishna's Spiritual Sky effulgence too.

Brahman, Brahmajyoti or Spiritual Sky is made up of unlimited individual living entities of all types, from Vishnu tattvas (93% of Krishna's 64 qualities) to Vishnu-Shakti-tattvas (93%), to Shiva tattva (84%), to jiva tattvas (78%).

EVERYTHING exists in the Spiritual Sky which is Krsnaloka, Vishnulokas, Material creation and the Impersonal Brahman.

Brahman IS the "living effulgence made up of unlimited individual jivas" all surrounding Krishna's Body in both Personal and Impersonal realities or realms.

So another name for Brahman and Brahmajyoti can also be the Spiritual Sky.

The Spiritual Sky has EVERYTHING in it, both personally active worlds full of active jivatmas or impersonal inactive realities also full of jivatmas in a dormant state.

Within the Spiritual Sky EVERYTHING exists in a beginningless and endless manifestation.

There is the "personal (active) and Impersonal (inactive or dormant)"

The "Impersonal" Brahman is a state of individual dormant consciousness manifested by the individual jivatma while deep in meditative inactivity on the mental plateform, a completely dreamless existence.

Impersonal Brahman consciousness is like the consciousness in a rock that is dead.

The Spiritual Sky can therefore either manifest both personal or impersonal Brahman realms.

The painting below shows the Spiritual Sky that has a dark cloud in it as well. That dark cloud is called the material creation.

Lecture on SB 7.9.10-11 -- Montreal, July 14, 1968:

Mālatī - "What I want to know is if you worship Kṛṣṇa do you go to Kṛṣṇaloka?"

Prabhupāda - "Yes".

Mālatī - "And if you worship Viṣṇu, what happens to you? Where do you go? What happens to those people?"

Prabhupāda - "He goes to Viṣṇuloka".

Mālatī - "And is it eternal?"

Prabhupāda - "Yes. Any place in the Spiritual sky is eternal. Viṣṇu planet or Kṛṣṇa planet are all in the Spiritual world.

Or the impersonal Brahman, that is also in the spiritual world. So somebody wants to be merged into the Brahman effulgence, so that is also a Spiritual world.

Somebody wants to go into the Viṣṇu planet, that is also in the Spiritual world. And somebody wants to go to this Kṛṣṇa planet, that is also in the Spiritual sky.

But there are differences even in the Spiritual sky.

The difference between Spiritual sky and material sky is that everything in the Spiritual sky is eternal, and everything in the material sky is temporary".

Gurudāsa - "Isn't Brahmajyoti temporary in the fact that you can come back down to the earth? Back to the material World?"

Prabhupāda - "Brahmajyoti means spiritual sky. This material sky means Brahmajyoti is covered by material cloud. Actually, everything is Brahmajyoti and like the clear sky, but a portion of the sky is sometimes covered by cloud. The whole sky is never covered by sky.

Similarly, some portion is covered by this material atmosphere, that is called material world.

Actually, the original sky is spiritual. Original the sky is full of sunshine, but the covered portion means we cannot see the sunshine. Covered portion by cloud means we cannot see the sunshine.

Similarly, this material sky means we cannot see the Spiritual effulgence. That is the difference. Otherwise, even this material sky is also a Spiritual sky.

The painting below shows the Spiritual Sky that has a dark cloud in it as well. That dark cloud is called the material creation.

Where is the karma for killing the Cow? Lets understand how it this "karma" works

Where is the karma for killing the Cow?

Lets understand how it this "karma" works

To start with its nothing like the painting shown, thats very rare maybe at the end of Kali-yuga.

Most people are NOT punished that way, this post will reveal how most ARE punished for their sins of killing the Cow and eating other animals.

It happens collectively almost never maybe every 120 years a city is destroyed by an earthquake, the last big one in California was 1906 when San Francisco was destroyed.

There have been a few big ones in Asia, China, Russia, Japan and Indonesia all very rare and maybe only just 1 million killed like in China a drop in the ocean of 7.3 billion people

So where is the punishment Cow slaughter?

Why do many think there really is non because every day everything goes on and the world prosperity keeps getting better and and better and more opulant?

Materially our Society today is way better than 80 years ago where in 1933 life expectancy was 59 and today is 79 or if you live in Australia 84, the worlds highest. Even though millions of cows get slaughtered in Australia the Country has become very very rich and there is no poverty

But there are those who live as if they have nothing, for  some reason no one helps them, no one can help them.

Why?

This is the karma for killing the cow, it does not manifest all at once most of the time it is very subtle and happens gradually

Cow killing has been increasing out of all proportions for 150 years, today more Cows are slaughtered than ever before, India slaughter millions of cows too yet the world becomes more prosperous

A train driver in India gets 66,000 rupees a month and the Australia pension is 115,000 rupees a month just for doing nothing and its for life

Despite so much cow slaughter people are being looked after or are they?

So where is all this massive karma for killing the cow, I will tell you, to start with its subtle and the reactions are unfolding all the time on millions of individuals

Lets just do America per year

38,000 killed in car accidents
34,000 killed by guns
21,000 children between 10 and 16 commit suicide every year
47,000 over 16 die from suicide
84,000 die from heart disease
98,000 die from bowl cancer
88,000 die from cigarette related diseases includes passive smoking
123,000 die from alcohol related diseases
98,000 die from hospital accidents and mistake
87 died in military not including suicides

"ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" working for Krishna, a humble devotee firmly believes.

"ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" working for Krishna, a devotee firmly believes.

Today in photo below, the entire world can see the dream and massive vision Srila Bhaktivenode Thakur saw in Mayapur across the empty fields 120 years ago

The fact is being a devotee ANYTHING is possible in service to Krishna, this is how Prabhupada trained us.

In the story of the Brahmana and the cobbler, the proud brahmana laughed at Naradha Muni when Naradha told the brahmana what Vishnu was doing in Vaikuntha - and that Vishnu was threading an Elephant through the eye of a needle!

The brahmana laughed and cursed Naradha calling him a crazy fool while the humble cobbler rejoiced in ecstasy saying how wonderful our Lord is and that He can do anything He wants and nothing is impossible for the Lord and His devotees to achieve.

Years ago the media laughed at us in Melbourne in early 1972 when 10 of us were living in a run down house in the back streets of St kilda, a slum back then, having no money and having oats flavored with orange peel for breakfast every morning and very little food at night, mostly small remanants from the offerings.

And during the day we were often being thrown in jail for chanting Hare Krishna on the streets by the Government because back then street gathering were illegal

We told the media back then -

"Things may seem difficult now but we have faith in Krishna that "anything is possible" as devotees of the Lord and servants of our Spiritual Master.

The sky is the limit!

We told them, one day we will have a massive 5 million dollar Temple for Radha and Krishna's comfort where the Temple room will be all solid Marble and even the Government will also help us and provide the funds to feed thousands of people around Melbourne"

Of couse the media people laughed at us and said we were dreaming.

The fact is, within a few years we DID get our beautiful Temple valued today at not five million dollars,  but rather 18 million dollars today!

And in 2016 the Premier of the State Government of Victoria came to the Temple and gave ISKCON 500,000 dollars to build a kitchen to feed prasadam to 10s of thousand of people around Melbourne.

LOL, 45 years earlier they were throwing us in Jail for chanting Hare Krishna and distributing Prabhupada's books

Yes without any doubts this proves "anything is possible".

As one congregational member once said to Prabhupada

-  "You have came here to the West with nothing but you had a dream of building a Temple for every City on the planet and now you have achieved that by opening Temples everywhere on the planet".

Srila Bhaktivenode also had a dream 120 Years ago saying that soon the greatest Temple on the Planet will be built at Mayapur dharm

He said this while while looking across the empty fields of Mayapur in the 19th Century.

He had faith that Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu can and will make ANYTHING for Krishna possible!

Like the story of the Brahmana and the cobbler and Lord Vishnu putting an Elephant through the eye of a needle.

Visit Mayapur like I did last year and be amazed that Krishna can make "ANYTHING POSSIBLE"

Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtan Movement WILL save all living entities from being trapped life after life in this material creation

The great world wide Sankirtan Movement of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu WILL save all living entities from being trapped life after life in these mundane troublesome temporary material bodily vessels we are in while within this material world.

Such bodies are always in a state of constant decline, disrepair, decomposition and end with death (total breakdown).

Sankirtan or the congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra, WILL free one from identifying with the external material body one is trapped in while in this material creation.

An aspiring devotee quickly learns, as they progress in Krishna consciousness, that they are NOT the external material bodily container and have nothing to do with this material world when their full spiritual potential is expressed.

The present decaying or deteriorating material body we are in, is NOT our real spiritual eternal bodily form or self, nor is this temporary material creation our REAL home.

We, the marginal living entity (jiva soul or jivatma) should NOT even be here in the material creation in the first place!!

It was a mistake we chose long, long ago to come to this dark material temporary decaying universe of death that is a dark cloud existing in one corner of the Spiritual Sky.

The real purpose of being given this rare human form of life, is to educate yourself, through devotional service, on how to get back to where you eternally belong!

And those Abodes of the Lord with His pure devotees, where we eternally belong, are known as Goloka-Vrindavan (Krsna's abode) and Vaikuntha (Vishnu or Narayana's unlimited abodes)

Both are equally the perpetual eternally youthful Kingdom of God.

Why do we chant this "Hare Krishna Maha Mantra"?.

We teach all aspiring Vaishnavas to chant Hare Krishna and see such chanting as the highest glorification of God.

We strongly believe this because we are following in the footprints of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and who personally only chanted the the Hare Krishna Maha mantra even though also saying there are millions of names of God.

Srila Prabhupada explains as follows -

Srila Prabhupada - "Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu says that God has millions and billions of names, so any name is as good as "Kṛṣṇa," it doesn't matter".

Devotee - "So Srila Prabhupada, then why do we concentrate on just chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa Maha Mantra?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Because we are following in the footprints of Lord Caitanya and who only chanted these holy names -

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare

So this is why we are chanting this "Maha Mantra".

Therefore we request you most humbly, there is no loss on your part, but the gain is immense. If you take to this chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa, then gradually your misconception of this life will be cleared off.

You will understand your real identity and you will act in that way. And the technology is so nice that you may remain in your business, that doesn't matter.

Simply you have to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. Suppose you are walking on the street. If you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, nobody is taxing you, nobody is bothering you. But if by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, if you derive some benefit, why do you neglect it? That is our submission".

Lecture to Technology Students M.I.T. - Boston - May 05, 1968

Of all mantras in the Vedas, one is called the maha-mantra, or great mantra:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama
Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

The simple translation of this Maha Mantra is -

''Oh my Lord, Oh energies of the Lord, please my Lord engage me eternally in your devotional service''.

harinama harinama harinama eva kevalam
kalau nastyeva nastyeva nastyeva gatir anyatha

“‘In this Age of Kali there is no other means, no other means, no other means for self-realization than chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name of Lord Hari.’

In this age of Kali-yuga, chanting the mahā-mantra is the best way to get out of this Material World

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa,
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare,
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma,
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

Srila Prabhupada - ''Kṛṣṇa consciousness is not an artificial imposition on the mind. This consciousness is the original energy of the living entity.

When we hear the transcendental vibration, this consciousness is revived. And the process is recommended by authorities for this age.

The chanting should be heard, further, from the lips of a pure devotee of the Lord, so that immediate effect can be achieved.

As far as possible, chanting from the lips of a nondevotee should be avoided, as much as milk touched by the lips of a serpent causes poisonous effect.

The word Harā is a form of addressing the energy of the Lord. Both Kṛṣṇa and Rāma are forms of addressing directly the Lord, and they mean "the highest pleasure, eternal."

Harā is the supreme pleasure potency of the Lord. This potency, when addressed as Hare, helps us in reaching the Supreme Lord.

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''. Purport to Hare Krsna Mantra "The Happening Record Album" 1966 New York City USA.

What is the best way to understand all these millions of temporary material universes (Brahmanda's) that all originate from the Body of Maha Vishnu, along with all the material bodily containers or vessels the soul (jivatma) is in and possesses?

Such material compartments or vessels the soul is in, also originate from the dreaming Body of Maha Vishnu. The soul or jivatma is covered by these perishable material bodies allowing the soul to exist embodied temporarily in the material creation.

All souls enter the material creation from a non material source (Vaikuntha) and then take shelter by being stored as individual units within the Body of Maha Vishnu until He spreads them throughout His vast universes to suitable material bodies, no souls originate from the material creation or Maha Vishnu.

This decaying troublesome material creation is always in constant struggle and inflicted with repeated birth and death

This material creation is NOT and NEVER was our real home!

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''. The "Happening Reord Album" New York City, New York, December 1966 USA

We should not try and make ourselves comfortable in these perishable troublesome decaying material bodily vessels!

Our only desire should be to get out of this decaying temporary decomposing place and go back home back to Godhead, back to the eternal youthfulness of Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan.

We should not allow the material energy to trick us either and NOT desire to go to higher material heavenly planets or build comfortable Cities, Sky Scrappers and opulant housing on this world.

We also should not attempt to seek higher birth in a rich aristocratic family foolishly thinking such a birth will bring, satisfaction, peace and happiness in this material world.

Such attempts to enjoy this mundane material world is really trying to build the Kingdom of God without God.

Such an attempt is not possible in this material creation that is eternally in a state of decay, decline and repeated birth and death.

We should all learn we are the individual jiva soul trapped within these temporary outer constantly changing material bodily containers.

We must seriously try to understand that all material endevours in search for happyness in this world will NOT solve the problems of birth, disease, old age and death.

Harinam Sankirtan is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s great gift to this particular Kali-yuga

Harinam Sankirtan is the greatest gift given to this world!

Harinam Sankirtan is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s great gift to this particular Kali-yuga and it’s very rare because Lord Caitanya does not come to every Kali-yuga.

He only comes to just "one" Kali-yuga out of every 1000 which is once in a day/night of Brahma or once every 8 billion 640 million human years.

There are 1000 Kali-yuga’s in one-half day (day-time from Sunrise to Sunset only) of Lord Brahmas time.

It takes 4 billion 320 million human years for 1000 Maha-yugas to pass through Brahma's day from Sunrise to Sunset.

There are no Maha-yugas (also known as a Divya-yugas) during Brahma's night (Sunset to Sunrise).

A Maha-yuga is a cycle of

Satya,
Treta,
Dvāpara and
Kali-yuga’s.

They all happens, as said above, during Lord Brahma’s Sunrise to Sunset day-time period taking 4 billion 320 million earth or human years.

Then add the same duration of time (4 billion 320 million earth or human years) for Brahma’s night where a partial annihilation takes place from Sunset to Sunrise making a 24 hour day 8 billion 640 million human years long.

So we must understand that Lord Caitanya's appearance is in just one Kali-yuga, (the same Kali-yuga we are in now) and is very, very rare.

He comes just once in a day of Brahma just as Krishna as His original form does too.

This means Lord Caitanya does not appear in the other 999 Kali-yugas during Brahma’s day time period from sunrise to sunset.

The time of Brahma's night between sunset and sunrise is when this material universe experiences a partial annihilation. This happens over a period of 4 billion 320 million human years.

So one "day-night 24 hour period" of Brahma equals 8 billion 640 million human years as already explained.

Lord Caitanya therefore comes “once” in a 24 hour day of Lord Brahma at the beginning of a Kali-yuga.

And so does Lord Krishna in His original Vrindavana  Form only comes "once" in a 24 hour day of Brahma at the end of a Dvāpara-yuga.

This material universe is always in a state of disrepair, decay, decline and in need of constant maintenance, it is simply NOT our real home

This material universe is always in a state of disrepair and decline, it is simply NOT our real home, nor is the bodily vessel we are in our real self, we should not even be in these temperory decaying material bodily vessels!!

The truth is, this place of repeated birth and death is NOT our real home to begin with!

Nothing lasts here within these material universes, everything fades away and decays over time because all things, including our material bodily vessels, are constantly in a state of decomposition and in need of constant maintenance and repair.

This material universe is always in a state of dis-repair and decline, it is simply NOT our real home, we should not of allowed ourselves to be confined within these temperory material bodily vessels in the first place!!

The fact is, no matter how hard we try, we can never find permanent satisfaction or happiness in this alien environment called the material creation.

Only fools try to find comfort, pleasure and happiness in these temporary material bodily containers.

Such vessels eventually grow old, diseased ending up being a rotting carcus for maggots and worms.

The REAL puropse for this rare human form of life is to use it, while you still can, for understanding who the real self is within the material body as an eternal servant of Krishna.

The fact is, coming here in the first place was a big mistake and one should dedicate the rest of this life to GET OUT OF THIS MATERIAL UNIVERSE AND BODY instead of trying to foolishly make ourselves comfortable here by associating with spiritually braindead low life residents of Kali-yuga that are all no better than hogs, dogs, camel's and asses!

Our only desire should be to go back home back to Godhead (Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana)

And NOT be side tracked by the glare of the higher temperory material heavenly planets or being born in wealthy pious families on this mundane material planet.

We should be learning from a very young age we are the individual jiva-soul within these material bodily containers and NOT the material body.

We should also learn that material endeavor’s for wealth and fame will not solve the problems of birth, disease, old age and death.

Such desires will only rivet us into material attachment and bondage.

It must be emphasized the purpose of this very rare human form of life is to get out of this material world and return back to Krishna's Kingdom of Goloka Vrindavana

And NOT try and build the kingdom of God without God on this Earth like the Kali-yuga Governments around the world are attemping today.

Such endevours will never succeed in the material universe as Prabhupada explains here -

Srila Prabhupada - ''When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Harā, it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity''.
