In the spiritual world's of Vaikuṇṭha and Goloka-Vṛndāvana, service to Krsna is always voluntary (intensional) expressed in a "two-way" exchange of loving reciprocation.

Voluntary is an adjective that describes something you do because you want to, without being influenced or forced into it.

One should understand that being part and parcel of Krsna means the jiva-souls can etenally make independent choices on how to voluntarily contribute in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan while serving Krsna or Visnu, or can even choose to reject the Lord if they choose to do so.

Srila Prabhupada - "In the spiritual world service is always voluntary. Some devotees want to serve Krsna as flower, so they become flower there. If I want that, to be a flower, I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna and become flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable yet a fact." (SB Canto 6.1.1-4 - Melb, Australia May 20, 1975)

Sadly, many fundamentalist narrow minded fanatics believe surrender to Krsna means allowing Krsna to takes over your every thought, deeds, and actions, where you no longer have the "free will" to serve Kṛṣṇa in a voluntary way once you enter God's Kingdom.

Such a nonsense "one-sided" dominating relationship with a so called God, is NOT what real surrender means.

Real surrender is always based on "free-will" that only works in a "two-sided" relationship of loving exchanges.

Srila Prabhupāda – ''Unless there are two persons, where is the question of love? Love means two persons, then there is exchange, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted; you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there." (Aug 9, 1976, Tehran)

Srila Prabhupada – "Love is a reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feelings. Then there is love. Not by force, no, Krsna does not want to become a lover like that." (July 8, 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - ''We have got the propensity to love. Love means somebody else. Love can not be one or can not be executed only by one; there must be another one. I love somebody; somebody loves me, there must be lover, there must be beloved, and the transaction, then love." (SB Canto 1 Ch 2 text 6, Delhi, Nov 12, 1973)

Srila Prabhupada - "The impersonalist philosophy is oneness, so how there be love with just one? Is it possible? Have you got any such experience that love means one? No. Love means two. There must be two, the lover and the beloved. Kṛṣṇa is already lover. He loves you so much that He's trying to get you back. That is Kṛṣṇa's attempt. "Please, my dear boy or my dear friend, my dear servant." (SB Canto 2 Ch 1, text 3, Paris, June 12, 1974)

Ultimately, each individual jiva-soul is a unique person who chooses for themselves how to voluntarily serve Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, or they can ignore Him also if they choose and live our their "dreams" in the material world.

When both these choices exist, then that proves free will really exists.

Both scenarios must be allowed if real freedom or free will is to truly exist. If the jiva-souls had no free will in the spiritual world as explained above, then they are no better than dead stone Prabhupada has warned.

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. Do you want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life." (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Srila Prabhupada - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is free will. Unless there is a chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of free will." Where is free will then? If I act only one-sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will."

Hayagriva - "A man may know better but still act wrongly."

Srila Prabhupada -"Yes, but that is "free will." He misuses his. Just like a thief, he knows that his stealing; it is bad, but still, he does it. That is free will. He cannot check his greediness, so in spite of his knowing that he is doing wrong thing—he will be punished, he knows; he has seen another thief, he was punished, he was put into prison— everything he knows, but still he steals. Why? Misuse of free will. Unless there is misuse of free will, there is no question of free will." (Discussions with Srila Prabhupada – Rene Descartes 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - "Unless there is a possibility of always misusing our free will, there is no question of freedom." (Dialectical Spiritualism, Critique of Descartes)

The fact is, real love or devotional service is only possible when there is a voluntary relationship between two, between Krsna and the individual jiva-souls, real love can NEVER be one.

Surrendering to Krsna does not mean "extinguishing" your sense of self, individuality, personality,  free will, and the ability to voluntarily express yourself in your own unique way, by allowing Krsna to control your every thoughts and actions and allow Krsna to do all your thinking and actions for you.

No! This is not surrendering to God; that is attempting to extinguish your individual identity and is therefore spiritual suicide.

Such a nonsense version of "surrender" is dangerous impersonalism because one is denying who they really are as a voluntary contributing independent individual person, with their own personality and and unique identity.

Love can never be experienced by just one like that, not even by Krsna; there must be two, even Krsna had to divide Himself into two (Radha and Kṛṣṇa) just to experience loving exchanges with another person.

So, let's be clear; loving relationships in the spiritual world are always based on the reciprocation between two because love can only exist when it is voluntary.

Srila Prabhupada – "So, everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, or one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that is not independence; that is force." (Los Angeles, June 23, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada - ''As soon as we try, "Oh, this material world is very nice, yes, Kṛṣṇa says, "yes, you can go." Otherwise, what is the meaning of free will? Every living entity has got a little free will. And Kṛṣṇa is so kind. He gives him the opportunity, "All right, you enjoy like this. It is free will." (Morning Walk Cheviot Hills May 13, 1973, Los Angeles)

As Prabhupada explains, Krsna never forces the jīva-souls to surrender to Him or love Him, that must be voluntary-

Srila Prabhupada – "Krsna never forces you to love Him; that must be voluntary." (Melb Australia June 25, 1974)

Krsna will never interfere with the free will of the jiva-souls, even if they choose to reject Him.

Krsna allows the jiva-souls to be separated independent individuals with their own unique personality separate from Krsna's Personality, because only then can they voluntarily contribute to their relationship with Krsna in their own way, making it a two-way exchange of loving expressions.

As Prabhupada said, having free will also means the jiva-souls can reject Krsna too if they choose; otherwise, free will has no meaning. Freedom must also include the choice that one can reject Krsna if they choose; otherwise, there is no question of having freedom.

Krsna allows the jiva-souls to have this freedom because it also allows them to voluntarily express their own unique individual loving expressions for Krsna in a two-way exchange.

This is better than being surrounded by jiva-souls who are mindless drones with no personality of their own.

Such a mindless existence means one is only programmed to only abey without question and worship Krsna unconditionally without any individual personal contributions and voluntary participation.

Such an impersonal one-sided affair is not love at all because it denies voluntary participation and personal contributions; real love can never exist on such a one-way street or in a one-sided domineering dictatorship.

Real love can only exist between two persons reciprocating with each other with loving exchanges in a two-way relationship.

If Krsna surrounded Himself with none thinking contributing jiva-souls who only did what He wanted without question, then how can voluntary loving exchanges exist?

Being forced to only obey without out personal contributions is impersonalism.

Without having personal contributions from each individual, jiva-soul is certainly not love because real love can not exist in such a one-sided oppressed atmosphere.

The individual jiva-souls are independent living entities who can voluntarily surrender to Krsna in their own unique way. This voluntary surrender with personal offerings is supported by Krsna.

Krsna does not force His dominance over the jiva-souls like a puppet master controls his puppets with strings that many claim is the real meaning of unconditional surrender.

They foolishly believe that becoming Krsna's puppet is what surrender really means, which is nonsense.

That kind of surrender is impersonalism, and sadly, there are many of these impersonalists out there.

It is complete nonsense to think surrender means only Krsna controls all loving emotions and expressions between Himself and the jiva-souls, and overrides the jiva-soul's free will, independence, individuality and voluntary contributions, by choosing everything for them once they enter the spiritual world's of Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana.

As said above, this kind of mindless impersonal surrender is spiritual suicide to a Vaisnava devotee. That kind of forceful dominance over another individual jiva-souls is called mayavadi impersonalism.

Therefore, to say the jiva-souls can never choose to fall down from Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan is also nonsense because they have a choice to stay or leave at any time.

To say they can never fall down from Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana is nonsense; they can leave at any time because they have free will eternally!

Although, Prabhupada told us that only less than 10% of jiva-souls make that choice to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan, while the rest (over 90%) do not choose to fall down.

You see, it is the jiva-souls choice, too that Krsna allows, just so they can experience their full freedom that includes rejecting Krsna if they want.

As said above, Krsna never surrounds Himself with mindless living entities only programmed to love Him unconditionally and have no free will.

No, Krsna does not want emotionally apathetic (thoughtless) servants like that around Him who can never voluntarily contribute to their relationship with Krsna.

We are all unique individual jiva-souls who each have their own individual personality different from Krsna's Personality, who can voluntarily contribute to their relationship with Krsna.

Each jiva-soul can voluntarily contribute with their own unique loving offerings to Krsna in their own personal way.

Therefore, only such reciprocation of loving exchanges between Krsna and the jiva-souls is what makes selfless love (Krsnaprema) real, and Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana are worth going to.

In Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana, personal voluntary expressions of loving exchanges are always encouraged by Krsna in His relationship with the jiva-souls. This adds flavour, variety, and mystery to their association with the Lord.

This means the Kingdom of God (Goloka-Vrindavana and Vaikuntha) are NOT a "one-sided dominating" impersonal domain devoid of free will that does not allow or encourage voluntary personal contributions to be offered in a "two-way exchange" that will actually expand, enriche and flavour one's eternal relationship with Krsna (God).

Voluntary loving service to Krsna and exchanges with Him can not exist if there is only a "one-sided" affiliate of total supremacy or preeminence devoid of "free will."

The fact is that genuine loving relations and services are based on free will, which includes loving exchanges between two and is never a one-sided dominating affair!

Free will only have meaning when the jiva-souls can express themselves in a two-sided relationship with Krsna.

In other words, loving reciprocation is only possible between two, with each contributing to the relationship, expanding the variety of nectarine mellows.

The words reciprocation and exchanges only have meaning when there are "two" involved, not one!

"Free will" is eternally the constitutional make-up of every marginal living entity (jiva-soul) and the foundation of all relationships with Krsna.

Many, in fact most, do not understand what the spiritual world is and the points made here.

The "free will" to feel envy means you want to enjoy like Krsna and be in the centre instead of Krsna, such self centred desires immediately disqualifies you to remain in the spiritual world (Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavana) and immediately you a transferred to the material creation managed by Maha-Visnu.

Your spiritual memories are in the spiritual world and you cannot take them with you to the material world because they are NOT material.

Once the jiva-souls enter the material world, their free will is almost non-existent, and instead are directed by the demands of the material senses - eating, sleeping, mating and defending, found controlling all species of material life.

Therefore, there is no choice in the spiritual world influenced by "matter" or "maya" because matter (maya) does NOT exist in the spiritual world.

Also, maya is NOT the cause of the jiva-souls fall down from the spiritual world to the material world, "free will" is the cause of fall down, and that means there is always a choice that some nonsense sangas and their gurus cannot understand.

The jiva-souls can only enter the material world in a material bodily vessel provided by Maha-Visnu, and NOT as their spiritual eternal bodily form.

All knowledge of Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana is in the spiritual body, but now covered because one has entered the material world and is now covered by a temporary decaying material bodily vessel.

In the spiritual world, as their original spiritual bodily form, all jiva-souls are female in their intimate original relationship with Krsna.

Yes, we are all female.

Not to confused with mundane transgender in the material world because if one is given a material bodily vessel of either a male or female, then that life is who they are in that life. In their next life, one can be either male, female, dog, Cow, tree - all material life forms have a jiva-soul.

However, in the spiritual world, even though one is originally female, they can appear as male, a cow, a tree, a bird, a street sign, a blade of grass, anything they like to serve Krsna.

Srila Prabhupāda - "There is form, just like this material body is compared with the dress. Now, just like in your present material form you have got hand; therefore your coat has got hand. You have got legs; therefore your pant has got legs. Therefore it is to be assumed that the spirit soul always has got form, and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. The spirit soul is not formless; it has got form. But with our material eyes at the present, gross eyes, we cannot find it; therefore we say and foolishly believe it has no form." (Lecture BG 2.14, Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Devotee – "Is the original body of the spirit soul a human form?"

Srila Prabhupada – "Yes, human form, God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form. Here you see Krsna, two hands, two legs."

Hari-sauri – "How do we understand, then, that there are peacocks and flowers and trees in the spiritual world? Are these not eternal forms?"

Srila Prabhupada – "[describing material form first]: Yes, they are more covered. Just like if you cover your body with blanket, the hands and legs are invisible. But you are not the blanket. So the trees and plants, they are more covered. They are not in full manifestation. The human form is the full manifestation of the soul."

Hari-sauri - "They are covered in the spiritual world?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Not in the spiritual world. There that is voluntary. Some devotee wants to serve Krsna as flower; they become flower there. If I want to be a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna, he becomes flower, voluntarily, and he can change his, from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable, yet a fact." (SB Canto 6 Ch 1 text 1-4 - Melb, May 20, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada - "The spirit soul is NOT formless; it has got form, the spirit soul always has form and is expressed as hands, legs, heads, everything. But with our material eyes at the present, our gross eyes, we cannot see these facts; therefore we foolishly believe the jiva-souls have no form." (Lecture on BG 2.14 - Mexico, Feb 14, 1975)

Devotee - "What is the form of the spiritual body. If the spirit soul is non-material, what is the form?"

Srila Prabhupada - "Your question about one's relationship with Lord Krsna on Krsnaloka, does he ever fall down? The jiva-souls are endowed with minute independence as part of their nature and this minute independence may be utilized rightly or wrongly at anytime, so there is always a chance of falling down by misuse of one’s independence." (Letter to Jagadisa dasa, 4/25/1970)

Srila Prabhupada - "In the broader sense, everyone comes from Krsnaloka (Goloka-Vrindavana). When one forgets Krsna, he is conditioned (nitya-baddha), when one remembers Krsna he is liberated (nitya-siddha)." (Letter to Mukunda, June 10, 1969)×**×..

The individual jiva-souls always have "free will" on Visnu's the Vaikuntha planets, and Krsna's central planet of Goloka-Vrindavan as part and parcel of their spiritual constitutional identity, who is the PERSON they for infinity.

The marginal living entities (jiva-souls) are NOT complete in themselve unless they their independence and free will.

Because without the free will that allows personal voluntary contributions and making personal decision of service, then jiva-souls would be no better off than mindless drones who imitate their bogus "Supreme so called Leader"

Such surrender and worship is impersonalism.

All jiva-souls in the spiritual world are able to make their own independent decisions while serving Krsna that allows them to be the contributing PERSON they are eternally (beginningless and endless). Only then is a variety of voluntary loving exchanges and reciprocation with Krsna possible.

Srila Prabhupada - "In the spiritual world service is voluntary. Some devotees want to serve Krsna as flower; so they become flower there if they want to be a flower and lie down at the lotus feet of Krsna, then he becomes flower, voluntarily, and he can change from flower to human body also. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Krsna as cow, he serves Krsna as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. It is inconceivable yet a fact." (SB, Canto 6 Ch 1 text 1-4, Melb, Australia May 20, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada - "Love is a reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force, no, Krsna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!" (Washington DC July 8, 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - ''Love means you take, and you give also. Suppose if you love somebody and you simply take from him, but you don't give. Oh, do you think it is very good? No. It is not good. That is not love. That is exploitation. If I go on simply taking from you, and if I don't offer you anything, that is simply exploitation."(Lecture BG, Ch 9 text 2-5, New York City, Nov 23, 1966)

Krsna does not force His dominance over the jiva-souls in the spiritual world like a puppet master controls his puppets with strings.

Free will exists with the jiva-souls for the purpose of allowing voluntary personal contributions in their relationship with Krsna, making the relationship a "two-sided" loving affair instead of a "one-way" dictatorship.

Loving exchanges, or forever expanding service to Krsna, can never be experienced with just one, there MUST be two, in a two-way exchange of personal feelings, expressions and personal offerings, otherwise the jiva-souls are no better than dead stone Prabhupada has warned us.

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you MUST have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life." (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

The jiva-souls are expansions of Krsna but with minor independent qualities that allow them to express themselves with their own voluntary actions based on free will in their own way.

The jiva-souls are endowed with independence and an individual unique personality that enables them to experience their independent personality separate from Krsna's Divine Personality.

Krsna allows this freedom (free will) among the jiva-souls because Krsna wants to experience loving exchanges between Himself and the jiva-souls, between two, to experience the jiva-soul's individual contributions and personal input, too.

This, however, does not mean all jiva-souls are fully independent from Krsna's control; that is not possible.

At all times, the jiva-souls are always dependent on Krsna, even while experiencing their little independence.

So, the jiva-souls are always independent individual living entities yet simultaneously depend on Krsna and His Visnu-tattva expansions in both the spiritual worlds and material worlds at all times.

So, even though the jiva-soul is an expansion of Krsna, the jiva-souls are not one with Krsna's Personality because they each have their own independent, unique personality separate from Krsna's Personality eternally. The jiva-souls can NEVER become one with Krsna (God)

AAHERE HERE HERE HERE...

Krsna must always first give His sanction because Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes. The eternal jiva-souls (marginal living entities) so they can have their freedom (free will)

How do we understand this?

To start with, we must never forget that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes.

This means nothing happens unless it is His will because everything comes from Him.

However, Krsna is always very reasonable. He never wants to surround Himself with those who love Him only because He programs them to do so; no, Krsna does not want that type of mindless association.

This is why the jiva-souls always have their free will in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan as part of their eternal constitutional makeup.

As said above, without free will and the ability to choose for themselves, in a voluntary way, a relationship of loving exchanges and reciprocation with Krsna, as a contributing independent individual person, is not possible.

Furthermore, there was never a time where Krsna never granted this freedom (free will) to the individual jiva-souls because only by having free will can the jiva-souls express their love for Krsna in their own unique way.

Therefore, having free will is eternally part and parcel of the personality and characteristics of every marginal living entity (jiva-soul).

Krsna allows free will for the purpose of allowing the opportunity for the jiva-souls to contribute their own unique offerings out of love, allowing an independent mood of self expression and personal exchanges with Krsna from thoughtful contributing independent persons.

The fact is, love can never be a one-sided or a one-way affair; love is always based on building a loving relationship of exchanges between two expressed in the mood of reciprocation.

Therefore, any jiva-souls who are denied free will by their God are just mindless emotionless drones in that God's kingdom.

If one's every thought and actions are fully controlled by their God, then that makes them no better than dead stone because they can never express their own unique emotions and feelings.

So, having free will is always part and parcel of the marginal living entities eternal spiritual constitution.

If Krsna had this absolute control over all the marginal living entities (jiva-souls) in the spiritual world explained above, then His Kingdom of God would be an impersonalists mindless loveless paradise!

Therefore, ultimately, within the most intense loving emotional exchanges between the Krsna and the jiva-souls, there is always free will; there are always individual choices that include even rejecting Krsna if one chooses.

If the jiva-souls do not have the freedom to think for themselves independently, then how can love exist?

No, it is not possible without free will because loving exchanges are a personal unique expression of feelings shared voluntarily with one's beloved.

This is how the jiva-souls surrender their unique personality and individuality with the object of one's love. Through voluntary service one chooses to offer to  Krsna, such intelligent reciprocation is the real meaning of surrender.

Srila Prabhupada - "Surrender BY your intelligence but don't surrender your intelligence." (Letter to Bali Mardan 1974)

Therefore, without having personal choices in the jiva-soul's relationship with Krsna, then there can be no question of loving exchanges.

This is because if it is just a one-sided one-way affair with no input from the jiva-souls too, then how can their be genuine love?

This idea of Krsna completely taking over the jiva-soul's free will, in the name of surrender, and denying any independent thoughful contributions from the jiva-souls, is nonsense impersonalism that many foolish bogus gurus cheat their naive disciples with today.

Loving exchanges are only possible when it is allowed to be governed by self-expression in a reciprocal relationship between two individuals, the jiva-souls, and Krsna.

This loving reciprocation is always expressed in its full potential in either Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan but serverly covered in the material creation where free will is suppressed and almost none existant in the human species.

And certainly not in the lower species of life in the material creation where the instincts of eating, sleeping, mating, and defending are controlling the lower species and not free will or Karma.

Karma is not created in the lower species of life or on the hellish and heavenly planets; it is only created in the human species in the middle planetary systems in our material universe.

Only on the middle planetary system called Bhurloka, where our earth globe is, does the human species of life create karmic reactions because they have the intelligence to be responsible for their actions?

Also, it is foolish nonsense to think Krsna overides and extinguishes the jiva-soul's free will and individuality when they enter Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan.

Such a concept is impersonalism.

One should understand that being part and parcel of Krsna means the jiva-souls can etenally make independent choices for themselves in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan while serving Krsna, or they can even choose to reject Krsna if they want.

Sadly, many immature devotees, including some sannyasis and gurus, still do not understand properly what free will is because they foolishly believe surrender to Krsna means Krsna takes over your every thought, deeds, and actions.

Srila Prabhupada - "Unless there is a possibility of misusing our free will, there is no question of freedom." (Dialectical Spiritualism, Critique of Descartes)

Real love (prema) or devotional service is only possible when there is a contributing relationship between two. Surrendering to Krsna does not mean extinguishing your individuality, personal contributions, and free will.

Love can never be experienced by just one, not even by Krsna; even He had to divide Himself into two (Radha and Kṛṣṇa) just to experience loving exchanges and share a reciprocal relationship.

So let's be clear, loving relationships in the spiritual world are always based on the reciprocation between two because love can only exist when there is a caring respectful nurturing relationship between two, between Krsna and the jiva-souls.

Srila Prabhupāda – ''Unless there are two persons, where is the question of love? Love means two persons, then there is exchange, then there is love. I must deal with you open-hearted; you must deal with me open-hearted, then there is love. So if you want to love Kṛṣṇa, God, then these things must be there." (August 9, 1976, Tehran)

Srila Prabhupada – "So, everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, or one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that is not independence; that is force." (Los Angeles, June 23, 1975)

Ultimately, each individual jiva-soul is a unique person who can choose for themselves how to voluntarily serve Krsna the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of all causes, or even ignore Him if they want. These choices must be there for free will to exist.

Both scenarios must be allowed if real freedom or free will is to truly exist.

As Prabhupada explains, Krsna never forces you to surrender to Him, never forces you to love Him, that must be voluntary otherwise love can never exist in a genuine way.

Srila Prabhupada – "Krsna never forces you to love Him; that must be voluntary." (Melbourne June 25, 1974)

Srila Prabhupada – "Love is a reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. not by force, no, Krsna does not want to become a lover like that." (July 8, 1976)

Krsna never interferes with the free will of the jiva-souls.

Srila Prabhupada - ''As soon as we try, "Oh, this material world is very nice," "Yes," Kṛṣṇa says, "yes, you go", otherwise what is the meaning of free will? Every living entity has got a little free will. And Kṛṣṇa is so kind. He gives him the opportunity, "All right, you enjoy like this." It is free will." (Morning Walk At Cheviot Hills Golf Course, May 13, 1973, Los Angeles)

Krsna allows the jiva-souls to be independent individuals with their own unique personality separate from Krsna's Personality because only then can they voluntarily contribute to a two-way exchange of loving service.

Freedom (free will) must also include that in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana, one can reject Krsna if they choose.

Krsna allows the jiva-souls to have their freedom because it also allows them to voluntarily express their own unique individual love for Krsna in that two-way relationship.

This is better than being surrounded by jiva-souls who are mindless drones impersonally programmed to worship Krsna without personal contributions and individual inputs.

Such an impersonal one-sided relationship is not love at all; real love can never exist on a one-way street or in a one-sided domineering dictatorship.

Real love can only exist between two persons in a two-way relationship.

If Krsna is surrounded Himself with none thinking jiva-souls who He does all the thinking for and all He wants and says without question, then that is certainly not love because real love cannot exist in a one-way dictatorship.

The individual jiva-souls are independent living entities who voluntarily surrender and love Krsna in their own unique way encouraged by Krsna.

It is complete nonsense to think surrender means Krsna controls all loving expressions and emotions between Himself and the jiva-souls, overriding the jiva-soul's personal voluntary contributions by choosing everything for them once they enter the spiritual world.

That kind of mindless impersonal surrender is spiritual suicide to a Vaisnava. Such forceful dominance over the individual jiva-souls is Mayavadi impersonalism!

Therefore, to say the jiva-souls can never choose to fall down from Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavan (The Kingdoms of God) is nonsense because they always have their free will in Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana.

Srila Prabhupada told us that only less than 10% of jiva-souls make that choice to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana over an eternity, while the rest (over 90%) do not choose to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana.

In other words, the jiva-souls also have their choices, too, that Krsna allows, just so they can experience their full freedom that includes rejecting Krsna if they want.

Krsna will never surround Himself with empty headed drones programmed to just obey to love Him unconditionally (meaning no personal contributions), no, Krsna does not want emotionally unproductive servants like that who can never contribute to the relationship with Krsna.

We are all unique individual jiva-souls who each have an individual sense of self who can voluntarily contribute to the relationship with Krsna and enrich that relationship with loving mysteries.

Each jiva-soul is able to give their own unique loving offerings in their own personal way to Krsna.

Therefore, only such reciprocation of loving exchanges between Krsna and the jiva-souls is what makes selfless love (Krsnaprema) real, and Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana are worth going to.

So, even though the jiva-soul is an expansion of Krsna, the jiva-souls are not one with Krsna's Personality because they have their own independent, unique personality, as explained above.

The loving expressions between Krsna and His more direct Visnu-tattva expansions are different from His relationship with the jiva-souls.

The fact is that all Visnu-tattva expansions of Krsna are Krsna, just playing another role in His own pastimes.

Surrender to Krsna never extinguishes one's ability of self-expression, individuality, or one's unique personality.

Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana are the Kingdoms of God, where the jiva-soul's independent identity and personal contributions enables them to make personal choices in their offerings to Visnu or Krsna in the spirit of reciprocation and loving selfless exchanges.

Love in this way is the highest meaning of independent thinking by choosing to be fully dependent on Krsna in the mood of voluntary devotional loving exchanges.

Love can only exist when their are exchanges between two; love can never exist with just one.

Therefore, surrendering to Krsna never extinguishes one's ability of self-expression, individuality, or one's unique personality.

Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana are the Kingdoms of God where the jiva-soul's independent identity and personal contributions enable them to make voluntary offerings in to Visnu or Krsna in the spirit of reciprocation and loving selfless exchanges.

Loving exchanges between Krsna and the jiva-souls means exhibiting independent expressions of offerings in one's devotional service.

Love can only exist when their are these exchanges between two, because love can never exist when there is just one.

Love can only exist when their are exchanges between two, love is never just one.

The spiritual world is full of unlimited variety and variegatedness, therefore Krsna only wants those who actually voluntarily choose to be with Him and serve Him.

Real love is reciprocal and can only exist between two, it is never a one-way street where surrender to Krsna takes away one's unique ability of self-expression that will only make one no better than dead stone.

In this mundane material world, it is not possible to experience free will in its full potential, in fact, the concept of free will is almost no existent, that is only possible in Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavan.

Our only education should be being trained up from a very young age to go back home back to Godhead and not try or plan to make these decaying temporary material worlds our home..^^..

Explaining the workings of Maha-Visnu's mysterious material creation and the original position (home) of the marginal living entities (jiva-souls) in Goloka-Vrindavana or Vaikuntha.

Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 4 Chapter 28 Text 53 and Canto 4 Chapter 28 Text 55, reveals that the jiva-soul's original home is with Krsna in Goloka-Vrindavana.

We are not suppose to be in this material creation, or trying to extinguish one's individual identity after becoming frustrated with material existence, by attempting to merge into the inactive dormant impersonal Brahmajyoti or Brahman that is spiritual suicide to a Vaiṣṇava.

In Srimad Bhagavatam it is explained Krsna directly asks the jiva-soul now trapped in the material creation-

"Do you remember Me?  You were previously my dear friend before you came to this material world"

The point made here is how can you remember what you never knew?

This clearly means we all were originally with Krsna in His patimes and we all came from Goloka Vrindavana or Vaikuntha and chose to foolishly enter the material creation.

Also the jiva-souls did not originate from a dormant inactive condition like the inactive impersonal Brahmajyoti or tatastha-sakti, both already fallen conditions.

Srila Prabhupada - "So this material world is the taṭastha (conditioned) characteristics, and the spiritual world is the "personal" characteristics. So our effort is to get out of this taṭastha (conditioned) characteristics and to enter the permanent characteristics (Vaikuntha). That is called spiritual elevation." (Lecture on CC Madhya-lila 20.354-358, New York, Dec 28, 1966)

Tatastha-sakti is also another name for the "marginal living entities" among many names that each describe a particular condition the jiva-souls are conditioned in, and tatastha-sakti is one of those names meaning "the conditioned living entity"

The mysterious workings of Maha-Visnu's material creation is inconceivable to none devotees who can never understand the secrets of the universe through speculation and sense perception.

For example, all material bodily vessels the jiva-souls are given so they can enter the material creation, originate from the dreams of Maha-Visnu.

The jiva-souls (marginal living entities) who choose to the enter the material creation, must first go to Maha-Visnu to obtain a suitable material bodily vessel from what Maha-Visnu's dreams that is in sync with what the visiting (fallen) jiva-souls have desired or deserved.

All material bodies are provided to the jiva-souls who reject Krsna in Goloka-Vrndavana and Visnu in Vaikuntha by Maha-Visnu.

Maha-Visnu also provides all material facilities to the jiva-souls.

Also no jiva-souls (marginal living entities) originate from Maha-Visnu, they only move into His domain and then from there, enters His dreams to "hire" a material bodily pathway according to their desires on their journey in the temporary material creation.

There are unlimited material bodily vessels available to the jiva-souls in the material creation originating from the dreams of Maha-Visnu.

And the jiva-souls, just like Krsna, were never created therefore they have no origin.

Krsna and the jiva-souls, like the Sun-disc and the sun-rays, cannot exist without each other, therefore Krsna and the jiva-souls have always existed and were never created.

The real home of the jiva-souls is not the material creation of Maha-Visnu or the dormant (inactive) aspect of the Brahmajyoti, but is always the Vaikuntha planets of Lord Visnu (Vaikuntha) or Krsna's central planet of Goloka Vrindavana.

So the real home of the jiva-souls is not the temporary decaying mundane material creation, or being merged inactively (dormant) in the impersonal Brahmajyoti as Mayavadis seek.

As said above, entering the impersonal brahman or Brahmajyoti is considered spiritual suicide to a Vaisnava because one is foolishly trying to forcibly end their individual existence and personality.

Srila Prabhupada – "This material creation is the spirit soul’s dream. Actually all existence in the material world is a dream of Maha-Visnu as the Brahma-Samhita describes-

"This material world is created by the dreaming of Maha-Visnu. The real, factual platform is the spiritual world, but when the spirit soul wants to imitate the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he is put into this dreamland of material creation." (SB Canto 4 Ch 29 Text 83)

Srila Prabhupada – "Everything happening within time, which consists of past, present and future, is merely a dream. This is the secret in understanding in all the Vedic literature." (SB Canto 4.29.2b)

Srila Prabhupada – "Our contact with matter is just like dream. Actually we are not fallen. Therefore, because we are not fallen, at any moment we can revive our Krsna consciousness, we break the dream." (Tokyo Japan 1972 lecture on SB)

Srila Prabhupada – "Factually all of material existence is only a dream. Thus there is no question of past, present or future. Persons who are addicted to karma-kanda-vicara, which means working for future happiness through fruitive activities, are also dreaming. Similarly, past happiness and present happiness are merely dreams." (SB Canto 4.29.2b)

One's relationship with Krsna is never impersonal, nor did the jiva-soul's originate from some nonsense impersonal beginning (impersonal Brahmajyoti) that is already a fallen condition.

The word tatastha-sakti refers to the jiva-souls in their fallen conditioned state in both the material creation, and when dormant in the impersonal Brahmajyoti.

The marginal potency (jiva-souls) are a collective of eternal individual living entities without any beginning or end, who are spread throughout the entire Spiritual Sky (both spiritual worlds and material worlds)

Those jiva-souls who have made the choice to enter the temporary decomposing material creation, can later, due to the frustration of material life, enter an inactive dormant state within the Brahmajyoti (the impersonal aspect of Brahman)

The marginal living entities (jiva-souls) are known in both the material creation and the impersonal Brahmajyoti as tatastha sakti but not in Vaikuntha and Goloka-Vrindavana Prabhupada explains here.

Srila Prabhupada - "So this material world is the taṭastha (conditioned) characteristics, and the spiritual worlds are the Personal (Vaikuntha) characteristics." (New York, Dec 28, 1966)

Revatīnandana - "Srila Prabhupāda you very clearly explained to me once in a letter that if the jiva-soul then goes into the brahmajyoti, he is considered still fallen. Still fallen. Does that means the whole brahmajyoti is composed of fallen souls? You see my question? If I go there, I'm a jīva-soul, and I go to the brahmajyoti I'm still fallen."

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes."

Revatīnandana - "That means all jīva-souls there are also fallen souls?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes, existence in the impersonal brahman is also within the category of non-Krsna consciousness. Those who are in the brahman effulgence are also in the fallen condition, so there is no question of falling down from a fallen condition." (Letter to: Revatinandana, LA 13 June, 1970 and Lecture Aug 1971 London)

In the jiva-souls original state, they have the same bodily features like Krsna, sat-cit-ananda-vigraha (eternity, knowledge, bliss and form.

The full potential and original feature of all marginal living entities is a two arm form like Krsna's Form.

Devotee – "Is the original body of the spirit soul a human form?"

Srila Prabhupada – "Yes, human form. God is also human form.

Srila Prabhupada – "[describing material form first]: Yes. They are more covered.

It is inconceivable, yet a fact." (SB 6.1.1-4 - Melb, May 20, 1975)

The marginal living entities (jiva-souls) are a collective of an unlimited number of individual jiva-souls who are eternal, meaning they have always existed but, as said above, they are only called tatastha-sakti while conditioned in the material creation and impersonal Brahmajyoti.

As said above, the jiva-souls were never created or born from any origin (starting point) because there is no origin of the jiva-souls, they have always existed without beginning or end as BG Ch 2 text 20 reveals (correct 1983 edition of Bhagavad Gita As It Is-

"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." (BG Ch 2 text 20)

Having free will is the constitutional make up of all marginal living entities that is always part and parcel within their eternal character and personality in the spiritual worlds.

This means the jiva-souls can even choose to leave the Vaikuntha Planets or Goloka-Vrindavana (The Kingdom of God) if they want, this is also what free will allows and if it didn't, then they have no free will.

The choice to leave Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana is possible because Krsna allows love to be a two-way street, this means one can accept or reject Krsna if they choose to do so.

Srila Prabhupada  - "Free will means that you can act wrongly. That is free will. Unless there is chance of doing wrong or right, there is no question of free will. Where is free will then? If I act only one sided, that means I have no free will. Because we act sometimes wrongly, that means free will."

Hayagriva - "A man may know better but still act wrongly."

Srila Prabhupada - "Yes, but that is free will. He misuses his. Just like a thief, he knows that his stealing, it is bad, but still he does it. That is free will. He cannot check his greediness, so in spite of his knowing that he is doing wrong thing—he will be punished, he knows; he has seen another thief, he was punished, he was put into prison— everything he knows, but still he steals. Why? Misuse of free will. Unless there is misuse of free will, there is no question of free will." (Philosophy Discussions with Srila Prabhupada – Rene Descartes)

Srila Prabhupada - ''As soon as we try, "Oh, this material world is very nice, Yes, Kṛṣṇa says, yes, you can go, otherwise what is the meaning of free will? Every living entity has got a little free will. And Kṛṣṇa is so kind, He gives him opportunity, "All right, you enjoy like this." It is free will." (Morning Walk May 13, 1973, Los Angeles)

Srila Prabhupada – "So everyone can know that independence means one can use it properly, or one can misuse it. That is independence. If you make it one way only, that is not independence, that is force." (LA, June 23, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada – "You have got little independence therefore you can violate. Because you are part and parcel of God you have got independence, proportionately, therefore if he'd likes he can return. That independence has to be accepted, little independence. We CAN misuse that." (Conversation, Mayapur, Feb 19, 1976)

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life." (Aug 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Devotee – "In Srimad Bhagavatam, it says that Krsna did not want us to come to this material world. If Krsna did not want us to come, why are we here?” Why doesn’t He save me from thinking like that?"

Srila Prabhupada - "That means you lose your independence, your free will. That is force, in Bengali it is said, "If you catch one girl or boy, you love me, you love me, you love me." Is it love? You love me, otherwise I will kill you! Is that love? So Krsna does not want to become a lover like that, on the point of revolver. You love me, otherwise I shall kill you! That is not love; that is threatening. Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force; that is rape. Why one is called lover, another is called rape?" (July 8, 1976 in Washington, D.C)

Srila Prabhupada - "Unless there is a possibility of misusing our free will, there is no question of freedom." (Dialectical Spiritualism, Critique of Descartes).***.

Being a Spiritual Master or teacher (Guru) and a disciple, are very serious positions, both need full commitment and mature knowledge by always being genuinely Krsna conscious.

Srila Prabhupada - "You have asked if it is true that the Spiritual Master remains in the material universe until all of His disciples are transferred to the Spiritual Sky, the answer is yes, this is the rule

Therefore, every student should be very much careful not to commit any offence which will be detrimental to this promotion to the Spiritual Kingdom, and thereby the Spiritual Master has to incarnate again to deliver him.

This sort of mentality will be a kind of offence to the Spiritual Master. Out of the ten kinds of offences, the number one offence is to disobey the orders of the Spiritual Master.

The instructions given to the disciple by the Spiritual Master at the time of initiation should be strictly followed. That will make one advance to the spiritual path.

But if one deliberately defies such instructions, then his advancement is hampered from the very beginning. This defying means to disconnect the relationship with the Spiritual Master.

And anyone who defies and therefore disconnects the relationship with the Spiritual Master can hardly expect the assistance of the Spiritual Master life after life.

I hope this will clear up this question sufficiently for you."  (Letter to Jayapataka, Los Angeles, 11 July,1969)

Devotee - "Prabhupāda, I heard it said that the spiritual master will always come back until his devotees, his disciples, have achieved God realization. Can you explain that?"

Srila Prabhupāda - "Yes, but don't try to take advantage of it. (laughter) Don't try to give trouble to your spiritual master like that. Finish your business in this life. That is especially meant for those who are slack. His devotee, his disciple should be serious in serving spiritual master. If he is intelligent he should know that-

"Why should I act in such a way that my spiritual master has to take the trouble to reclaim me again? Let my business be finished in this life."

That should be the right way of thinking. Not that, "Oh I am sure my spiritual master will come, let me do all nonsense." No. So if you have got any, I mean to say, affection for the spiritual master, then you should finish your business in this life so that he may not come again to reclaim you. Is that all right?

Don't take advantage of this business. Rather, be serious to finish your business. That is a fact.

There is an instance of Bilvamaṅgala Ṭhākura.

Bilvamaṅgala Ṭhākura was in his previous life, elevated to almost prema-bhakti, highest platform of devotional service. But there is always chance of falldown.

So somehow or other he fell down. And next life he was born in a very rich family as it is stated in the Bhagavad-gītā: śucīnāṁ śrīmatāṁ gehe (BG 6.41).

So he was born in a rich brāhmaṇa family, but he became, naturally as rich boys become attached to woman-hunter.

So it is said that his spiritual master instructed him through his prostitute. At the right moment, his spiritual master said through that prostitute,

"Oh, you are so much attached with this flesh and bone. If you had been attached so much with Kṛṣṇa, how good you could have achieved."

Immediately he took to that position. So that responsibility is for the spiritual master. But we should not take advantage of that. That is not very good. We should understand-

yasya prasādād bhagavat prasādo.

yasyāprasādān na gatiḥ kuto pi.

dhyāyan stuvaṁs tasya yaśas tri-sandhyaṁ

vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam"

This means-

"By satisfaction of the spiritual master, the Supreme Personality of Godhead becomes satisfied. And by not satisfying the spiritual master, there is no chance of being promoted to the plane of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. I should, therefore, meditate and pray for his mercy three times a day, and offer my respectful obeisances unto him, my spiritual master.

We should not try to put our spiritual master in a position that he has to reclaim me from prostitute's house. But he has to do it. Because he accepts his disciple, he has got the responsibility like that." (Lecture on BG 6.46-47,Los Angeles, February 21, 1969)
