ISKCON wrongly claimed the 1969/72 Moon landing were a hoax. No, they DID happen. But Prabhupada was also right.

It seems in 2024 we will have the choice to maturely except the evidence presented before us, and no longer keep pushing sentimental 50 year old opinions that man can never go to the "gross" Moon we see in the sky.

ISKCON wrongly claimed the 1969/72 Moon landing were a hoax.

No, they DID happen.

The fact is, Srila Prabhupada all along meant we can never enter the "subtle" heavenly realm of Chandraloka in mundane space crafts or while in a gross material body.

Prabhupada's view here is correct.

However, as far as the "gross" Moon in concerned, the astronauts and many other space crafts from many different Countries DID go there and are still going there.

Eventually ISKCON will have to except that men and women have and will land on the "gross" Moon.

It would be foolishness to keep denying this in the face of overwhelming evidence proving the Moon landings DID happen.

  1. Sentimental love is very strong but such love is immature and childish.

At 19 years old because of youthfulness, often one will say nothing to their elders even if they do not agree with them and just go along with it all.

Never have I believed Prabhupada's opinion that the Astronauts never went to the Moon we see in the sky (the gross Moon)

Now at 70 years old I have seen so much evidence and REFUSE to blindly follow this nonsense idea man never went to the "gross Moon".

I love Prabhupada like a child loves his parents for their compassion, kindness and care, but not necessary for everything they say.

I would love to have humble reciprocal loving discussion with Prabhupada today on this subject.

And at 70 years old, I would certainly NOT be shy and just agree out of respect, no, that type of surrender is bogus!

In Prabhupada's own words, we must NOT blindly follow but question everything!

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone!! The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will!". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

  2. In Prabhupada's own words, we must NOT blindly follow but question everything!

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

Selfless love (Bhakti that means devotion) is the key ingredient to making all relationships successful.

Understanding this is also the standard in Spiritual life or Krishna Consciousness when properly understood.

On the spiritual level of Vaikuntha and Goloka Vrindavana, one never denies, or attempts to extinguish their free will or individuality, or follow anything without questioning it.

Or believes surrender means emptying your mind and no longer thinking for yourself is being selfless.

No, we all must learn to be the unique person we all are eternally, having our own free will that enables one to give the very best of their individual character in the service of the Lord.

This is what selflessness and surrender really means, and is basis of who one is as that independent person.

The constitutional make up of every marginal living entity is based on reciprocation with Krishna and not mindless slavery or being treated like sudras who are patronized and provided everything they need.

Such fake happiness destroys one's sense of self expression and offering the best of their own unique ablities and talents.

The suppressed way sudras are treated in the material creation does NOT exist in Vaikuntha or Goloka-Vrindavan.

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will!". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

The jiva souls in Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrindavana therefore are forever expanding their sense of individuality with personal offerings based on selfless loving reciprocation with Krishna, it is NEVER a one sided relation with the Lord.

Srila Prabhupada - "Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force, no, Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!" (July 8, 1976)

Real love or Bhakti is reciprocal, as said above, it is NEVER a one way street where surrender to Krishna takes away one's sense of self, individuality and personal contributions.

Devotee - "Srila Prabhupada why did Krishna give us free will if He knew we would miss use it in the material world?"

Srila Prabhupada - "If you have no free will, then you are a stone. The stone has no free will. You want to be stone? Then you must have free will! But don't misuse your free will. But don't try to become stone either. That is not life". (August 5, 1976, New Mayapur France)

This is important to understand because each individual jiva-soul has their own independent personality, sense of self and unique characteristics that THEY only individually have, that is part and parcel of each individual marginal living entities make up as the independent eternal "person" they are.

Devotee – "But In the Srimad-Bhagavatam, it says that Krishna did not want us to come to this material world. If Krishna did not want us to come, why are we here?” Why doesn’t He save me from thinking like that?”

Srila Prabhupada - “That means YOU lose your independence. That is force, in Bengali it is said, ‘If you catch one girl or boy, ‘You love me, you love me, you love me.’ ” Is it love? “You love me, otherwise I will kill you!’ Is that love? So Krishna does not want to become a lover like that, on the point of revolver. ‘You love me, otherwise I shall kill you!’ That is not love; that is threatening. Love is reciprocal, voluntary, good exchange of feeling. Then there is love. Not by force; that is rape. Why one is called lover, another is called rape?” (July 8, 1976 in Washington, D.C)
