This is how Krsna appears in the material creation.

The Krsna who comes to the material creation is actually a "Visnu-tattva" expansion of the original Krsna in Vrindavana, who is perpetually in Goloka Vrindavana, and who NEVER leaves His permanent home.

This is also why when Krsna in the material creation shows His original form, it is the 4 armed Visnu or Narayana form (Visnu-tattva) and NOT the "original" Krsna in the Spiritual world of Goloka Vrindavana.

This is because Krsna in Goloka Vrindavana expands as all Visnu-tattva forms of the Lord, and it is those forms, (not Krsna) who enters the Vaikuntha Planets and the material creation.

Krsna as His original Form, remains in Goloka Vrindavana.

When Krsna "seems" to leave Goloka Vrindavana, He actually NEVER really leaves but instead allows one of His Vishnu Forms to play the part of Krsna in the material creation.

Therefore, it is important to understand that a 4 armed Visnu form, seen in painting below, plays the part of the 2 armed Krsna in the material creation.

These pastimes in the material creation go on while the original Kṛṣṇa is permanently situated in Vrindavana and NEVER leaves.

It is important to comprehend that ALL Visnu and Narayana Forms ARE expansions of the original Krishna in Goloka Vrindavana who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and cause of ALL causes.

Therefore as explained above, Visnu simply plays the part of Krsna in the material world and even kills demons that the original Krsna cannot do because there are no demons in the Spiritual World (Goloka Vrindavana)

However, technically, there is no difference between the original Krishna in Goloka Vrindavana, who NEVER leaves there, and His Visnu expansion who plays the part of Krsna in the material creation.

This is how Krsna can appears in the material creation.

The following quotes are from the Bhagavat Purana or Srimad Bhagavatam with quotes by Srila Prabhupada.

Prabhupada has told us when Krsna comes to this material world for His childhood pastimes, it is His Visnu-tattva expansion who play's the role of Krsna as the paintings below reveal.

Srila Prabhupada -  "Because Kṛṣṇa never leaves Vṛndāvana, all the forms of Kṛṣṇa that appear elsewhere are His expansions. Vāsudeva is Kṛṣṇa's immediate expansion, so Vāsudeva is not different from Kṛṣṇa. It is to be understood that the Vāsudeva referred to in this verse of Bhagavad-gītā is Baladeva, or Balarāma, because He is the original source of all incarnations and thus He is the sole source of Vāsudeva. The immediate expansions of the Lord are called svāṁśa (personal expansions), and there are also expansions called vibhinnāṁśa - separated expansions. (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 7 Text 2 Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "The original Lord Kṛṣṇa never leaves Goloka Vṛndāvana. All the plenary expansions are one and the same Viṣṇu-tattva, and there is no difference in Their potency. (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 Chapter 1 Text 34 Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "Because Mathurā and Vṛndāvana are intimately connected with Kṛṣṇa eternally, it is said that Lord Kṛṣṇa NEVER leaves Vṛndāvana (vṛndāvanaṁ parityajya padam ekaṁ na gacchati). (Srimad Bhagvatam Canto 10 Chapter 1 text 28)

Srila Prabhupada - "Since that time, the city of Mathurā had been the capital of all the kings of the Yadu dynasty. The city and district of Mathurā are very intimately connected with Kṛṣṇa, for Lord Kṛṣṇa lives there eternally. It is understood that Mathurā City is the transcendental abode of Lord Kṛṣṇa; it is not an ordinary material city, for it is eternally connected with the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Vṛndāvana is within the jurisdiction of Mathurā, and it still continues to exist.

At present, the place known as Vṛndāvana, in the district of Mathurā, continues its position as a transcendental place, and certainly anyone who goes there becomes transcendentally purified. Navadvīpa-dhāma is also intimately connected with Vrajabhūmi. (Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 10 Chaprer 1 Text 28, Translation and Purport)

Srila Prabhupada - "The great authority Śukadeva Gosvāmī remarks that Kṛṣṇa almost always passed His time with Rukmiṇī, and Rukmiṇī was a bit proud to be so fortunate that Kṛṣṇa NEVER left her even for a moment. (Krsna Book 60)

When Krsna enters the material creation for His Vrindavana pastimes, He does so as His Visnu expansion who plays the role of Krsna, but only acting the part of Krsna in His original form.

However, Krsna, as His original bodily form, NEVER leaves Vrindavana in the Spiritual World.

This means Krsna technically never enters the temporary material creation or the perpetual Vaikuntha Planets as His original two armed form, who always remains in Goloka-Vrindavana.

A facsimile of Krsna played by Vishnu enters the material creation.

All of Krsna's pastimes in the material creation are therefore performed by His 4 armed Visnu expansion playing the role of Krsna.*^

  2. Please read what Prabhupada says, try to understand that Krishna as His original form NEVER leaves Goloka-Vrindavana.

And when Krishna wants to enter the material creation, He simultaneously stays in Goloka Vrindavana and also enters the material creation, not as the original Krishna, but as His expansion Vishnu seen here in painting.

  3. Many are not understanding what sastra says, that all expansions of Krishna in the material creation are Vishnu tattva including Krishna Himself when He comes here.

In other words, the Krishna who comes to the material world is not the original Krishna in Goloka Vrindavana, but a Vishnu tattva expansions playing the part of Krishna Prabhupada has told us.

This is because the original Krishna NEVER leaves Goloka-Vrindavana in the Spiritual World.

  4. There is no difference with Vishnu tattva but technically the Krishna in the material creation is Vishnu tattva while the original Krishna never leaves Vṛndāvana in the Spiritual World.

The point made here is when Krishna in the material creation shows His original form, it is the 4 armed Vishnu form as painting reveals, Vishnu plays the part of Krishna in the material creation.

    Why?

Because the original 2 armed form never leaves the Vrindavana in the Spiritual World.

A little confusing but read Vaniquotes and you will see the point.

Also it is explained that the original Krishna never kills demons in the Vrindavana in the Spiritual World, it is Krishna’s Vishnu tattva expansion who plays the part of Krishna in the material creation who kills demons.
